Although Mr…read more Sharpe has been doing this for over 40 yrs, he is unfortunately not up on the times or professional. We had him quote us for standard install at $4600. Received quote from other installer for reduction system at $4200. While still getting quotes, he left a load of shredded tires in our backyard without our ok and we happened be stopping by the house to check in on it or he would have done the job the next day without our knowing. This in addition to digging a trench across my driveway without asking us claiming he couldn't access the house. Note: I had been driving up the driveway for weeks in my car without issue. To make a long ordeal short. My car was damaged due to his trench and he didn't even once apologize for both the driveway or leaving the shredded rubber in our yard without permission. Relunctantly with the project mgr s suggestion, we agreed to have him do the job anyways. NOW I have this rubber all over the yard. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE. GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING.. Michael arrived and went to work. He was very friendly and explained all questions I tossed his way. He dug up the area at the end of the tank and found the PVC pipe leading out to be clogged so he probed for the distribution box and called in the team that dug it up. Once that happened they jetted the entrance pipes to the drain field and then replaced the distribution box and PVC pipes. The 2nd crew used the backhoe with great skill and the entire job took about 6-7 hours. If you need any septic repairs done, Absolute Septic really does the job well and are very knowledgeable at it. Their consultant (Jeff…read moreVaughan) indicated to me that they "knew my area" and that the soils in my area were likely unsuitable for anything but a very expensive/advanced septic system. Despite their discouragement, I hired him as a consultant to come out to my property and sample the soils for suitability. Their visit confirmed to me that the soils were in line with his preconceived notions that my property couldn't support an expansion of the current LPP system on my property. Shortly thereafter, during the permitting process, Wake county indicated soils suitable for a new repair area. I then hired another soil scientist who determined that my soils were suitable for an expanded LPP area, and were not too far from being acceptable for a conventional septic system. In short, the AWT engineer I hired (Jeff Vaughan) started out with the mindset that it couldn't be done, and ended up coming to the same conclusion. He was pretty adamant that a very expensive system would be required to achieve my end goals. In short, I wouldn't recommend this company - there are soil scientists in the area that will take the time to try and find a workable solution based on your soils - my impression with AWT is that they try to steer you to costly systems (both to install and maintain) that are perhaps better for their bottom line, but not necessarily for the customer.

Fast forward a couple years, we have no water in our home. Come to find out the well she "tested" had been out of commission and didn't even have power for years prior to her examination. Have spoken with several people in this office, they do not care, they will not even provide their insurance carrier information so that we can follow up appropriately. Our family would never have bought (nor been approved) to buy this home without a known, tested and functioning well. Their dishonest report and lack of interest in providing even the most basic assistance has left our family without water for over a month while we try to work with the county to resolve this issue. Hire someone else.

They forgot to schedule the original repair appointment. They broke the lid to my septic tank. All of this and the lady in the office kept hounding me for payment. You don't get paid until the job is done to my satisfaction. Horrible. The only good thing about this company are the people that work in the dirt. They are so nice. They can't help they way the company is run.

I do not believe the company is going to refund my money. How does a company figure the bill wrong; state they are going to give you a refund check; and does not follow through refunding your overpayment? I had a lot of faith in them for many years, not anymore. I have never had a company treat me in this manner.
