Don't be…read morescared by the workouts, the trainers get to know you, modify the workouts, and help you work past your weaknesses. You will see results! I've seen so many people be completely transformed by this gym, not only in physical fitness, but in all aspects of life. You will grow with this gym as you become a member of a tight knit community. What makes this place truly special is the people. The trainers befriend you and legitimately care about you meeting your goals and your wellbeing. The fellow athletes are incredibly supportive and always greet you with a smile, an RTB signature fist bump, and congratulate you on a job well done. If you want a gym that will challenge you, if you are tired of the typical gym membership, if you want to be excited to go to the gym every day and see incredible results then Raise the Bar is the gym for you.

I joined, had significant physical disability and surgery and moved from the area. Was promised cancellation multiple times but the charges kept coming and ownership "changed hands". Shame on me, I guess, but let this be a lesson for anyone else. In the words of my friend Kari, who originally introduced me to Ron, "Ron IS the gym!"…read more I'm thinking about all the gyms I've been a member of during my life... Philadelphia Sports Club, Lifetime Fitness, Golds, Xsport... I've seen a lot of personal trainers. I have never seen any personal trainers do the stuff Ron makes you do. There's a reason I keep going to Ron - because he helps you achieve your goals and you will see results. He knows what he is doing!! He really cares about his clients even outside of the hour that he sees you a week. He'll follow up and make sure you're held accountable for the other 6 days of the week. I recommend Ron to anyone looking to get/stay fit.

He has a holistic approach in which he understands the importance of weight training with a well balanced diet and really helped me understand how to eat right for my body. His training sessions are never dull. He is is constantly thinking outside the box and coming up with new drills. My body strength improved, I lost fat and toned up. Happy girl :) Since training with Ron I've gone on to become a certified yoga instructor and thank him for his knowledge and advice in training and eating right. Aside from his amazing credentials and experience- he has a great personality. I don't ever recall him not smiling. Oh and if you haven't taken a kickboxing class with him then you are missing out! His classes are usually packed and you leave drenched in sweat. My type of workout.

I love this gym, it was my second home away from home. It helped me escape depression and anxiety…read more However, I believe Onelife has monopolized the area and as a result they don't care about their members. I'm replaceable :( Why I think I'm right: I'm still going to bring a present to my new neighbor, I'm still going to bring gifts to my loved ones, and I will always stand up against what's wrong. It's annoying that other people don't turn on their turn signals but I don't call the police on people that don't turn on their turn signals. But even that is not in correlation to what happened, and how the interpretation aligns with a psychopath/sociopath. I approached him the first time because he's flirting with me and I have things I have to do. The second time he did the same thing and I approached him and gave him my number with an inside joke. ---------------------- Story of a long-time member when changes in management occur correlated to recent elections and sociopath: The characterization of the situation as "paraphernalia" is inaccurate, and the disciplinary action taken against me was disproportionate given the context of the situation. To clarify the events The Context: Another member had repeatedly initiated unwanted attention and flirtation toward me while at the facility. I'm gay Action: In an attempt to establish boundaries and handle the situation lightheartedly, I left a novelty item (a duck) with my contact information on his vehicle. This is a harmless gesture I have historically used in social contexts and was not intended to harass. The Escalation: Despite his prior behavior toward me, the individual reported the interaction to management, framing it misleadingly. Unfortunately, management accepted this narrative without considering the full history of mutual engagement, including his ongoing approach behavior toward me. As a dedicated member of this community balancing graduate school, family responsibilities, and my professional work supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities, I take gym rules and etiquette seriously. I have always conducted myself respectfully on the premises. I mean if a person of color is married to a white person and the person of color gets beat up is it still about how he looks like your brother? Did the gym manager tell a girl to reply so it would look the male is aggressive towards a female? Anyways someone should really open up another gym in the Warrenton municipality area: https://wolfgyms.com/ I'm too broke with $117,000 in student loans.
