Coming in from out of town we were pleasantly surprised by how good our rolls and sashimi was. Would def recommend if you like sushi!

We have visited this place many times. Generally the food and service are good. Last Friday though I discovered an insect in my rice. Not on the top but somewhere in the middle it crawled out. I had completed half of my meal by this point and immediately lost my appetite. The waitress gave me a $5 discount with no comment. You would think at the very least the manager would have stepped in and offered an apology. I guess customer service and loyalty are not a priority here. read more

Great food. Had Hibachi Steak dinner. The fried rice was amazing the steak was tender but there was no salt on the steak(haha).

Here's what we ordered: Steak and shrimp hibachi, fried rice, soup, coke Steak hibachi, fried rice, soup, water (does not taste like tap water! Hallelujah!) Shrimp tempura roll 1. Do not come here dying of hunger during peak hours. Food takes at least 20-30 minutes; even the sushi took at least 20 minutes. 2. If your food is too dry, just ask for extra hibachi sauce. 3. The fried rice taste mostly like pepper. Still average taste though. 4. Sushi is a tad expensive. Small roll for at least $5. Taste is also average. 5. Their yumyum sauce is good. 6. They actually know how to cook medium steak. 7. Soup is not miso. It's onion and mushroom. 8. Loved the waitress. She's polite and kept track of people. We came during dinner time. 9. Would come again, coz there really ain't much choice in Lagrange xD. 10. I like this place better than Yama. read more

We didn't get too adventurous here, and the menu is aimed at keeping it simple anyway. The food was good and inexpensive. Hibachi steak was not over seasoned, as I usually find it to be at regular hibachi restaurants. It was tender and flavorful. The veggies were crisp-tender and delicious. Rice was probably our least-favorite item until we mixed it a bit with the veggies and sauce from the steak. Yum! Shrimp and avocado roll was good, ingredients were very fresh. This is a great, close-by, local option for families staying at Great Wolf Lodge, who don't want the loud and overpriced options on-site. read more

I've visited this little place a number of times and it's awesome! The food is stellar! I've tried something new on each occasion and i have yet to be let down. The only two issues i have are 1) it's very bright. I want to see, but it doesn't need to be full blast. 2) there is usually only one server on the floor. She is good and the manager/owner does help, she seems rushed and unable to provide service on par with the food. I have and would recommend this restaurant. read more

I'm a creature of habit and am working at District 4 Public Health in LaGrange for the next couple of weeks, so I tried this place in the Square out for both dinner and subsequently for lunch, and it was not a disappointment. The staff is nice. There is ample seating. I don't like real crowded places so this was a treat. The cooked sushi was delicious as well as the shrimp fried rice, which I had both times. It's both light and filling. I recommend them for a quick lunch if you work in downtown LaGrange or are visiting and just want a quick, delicious meal. They do not have traditional Japanese Hibachi cookers, as this has more of a feel of a casual, sit-down place, so don't expect the choo-choo train made of stacked sliced onions. read more

Very disappointed . So I ordered the Chicken and Jumbo Shrimp Hibachi with fried rice and veggies. Their definition of veggies was 1 piece of broccoli and 2 pieces of carrots. I got a carry out order for lunch. I ordered the shrimp hibachi and I love that yummy sauce so I ordered an extra side of the sauce which was 75 cents no big deal. When I got home I only had one sauce and my salad had no dressing either. Very disappointed this happened especially when they were slow. read more

Amazing - food and service. I'm not sure why we haven't tried this restaurant yet, but just had it tonight for dinner and yes, it was so good I had to come leave a yelp review. Of all the hibachi and sushi places in town, this one is by far the best. I had the hibachi chicken and will definitely come back soon for my daughter to try the sushi. Great food! their katsudon. Pork cutlet is crunchy but tender. Miso soup is heaven in a bowl. Sushi is generous portions and carefully prepared. Good service and good atmosphere. Highly recommend for lunch, dinner or take out. read more

Had great food and service here last night. I was looking for a vegan option and the waitress understood what I was asking for. The veggie hibachi options come with rice and many different veggies and is tasty. Get the ginger sauce instead of the "yummy" sauce because that has mayo. There are several Asian restaurants to dine at in Lagrange, and more and more seem to pop up. What bull st. hibachi has that most lack is a yum yum sauce that keeps you wanting more. The service is good and the food comes out fast. It is a great place for children and has a clean and nice atmosphere. The price is about the same for every other Hibachi restaurant in LaGrange. I am a regular customer and I would honestly love for them to start delivering, maybe sometime in the future. read more

My husband and I were craving Japanese hibachi style food and had noticed the new Bull's hibachi restaurant in the square when we returned home for the winter so we decided to give it a shot. When I looked it up on Yelp there were only two reviews at the time; one good, one not so good. I'm So Glad we decided to give it a try! We thought the food was great! We split the steamed Goyza appetizer (Delish!) I had the steak hibachi and he had the steak and chicken hibachi. Neither one of us had a complaint. The place is nice on the inside, very clean, the server was very friendly, fast and the food didn't take long to come out at all. We left happy that we came and will definitely come back! read more

Great little gem of a restaurant. Great food, wonderfully friendly service, and now they have beer! Sushi there is the best I've had in LaGrange. While they don't have sashimi or nigiri sushi, the rolls are the bomb. Excellent selection, delicious, and the sushi chef has a good eye, very attractively presented. Their donburi bowls are great too, food is fresh and tasty. Highly recommend them if you're in the mood for sushi or good hibachi grill items.
