Soap bases for Cold soap making
Clare S.

I recently purchased supplies for cold soap making. I was extremely please with the communication, price and shipping speed of the goods I purchased from Bulk Apothecary. I will be A repeat customer!

Original Order - 62% Gel Spray
Marc H.

We ordered the 1 gallon of sanitizer- gel (Germ Attack 62% Alcohol /Aloe Vera Gel *Spray* and received the 70% alcohol *NO SPRAY* (after a month and a PayPal dispute) with not a spit of Aloe Vera despite the label claim. The smell is horrendous, like corn based grain-alcohol and instantly produces a gagging reflex with me and everyone in my household. It does not smell like the other alcohol that we have in the household for sure. The FDA issued limits on certain chemicals permitted in alcohol-based hand sanitizer, updating temporary guidance it adopted last month as the health crisis deepened and more manufacturers registered to produce hand sanitizer. The crackdown is meant to protect consumers from potentially dangerous impurities in hand sanitizer, but could worsen shortages at a time when households, hospitals and nursing homes need sanitizer to fight the coronavirus pandemic. The restrictions have dealt a blow to fuel ethanol producers. The industry has invested millions of dollars since last month to ramp up the output of corn-based alcohol sanitizer to offset slumping fuel demand. SOURCE:https://www.reuters.com/article/us-health-coronavirus-ethanol-sanitizer/u-s-cracks-down-on-ethanol-based-hand-sanitizer-hitting-supply-as-demand-soars-idUSKBN22C0LG "...FDA said it had found significant levels of the carcinogen acetaldehyde in ethanol supplied" for use in hand sanitizer and "determined that it is not acceptable as an ingredient under the Agency's temporary hand sanitizer policies" BA was recommended by a friend - do your research before hand and you will see the independent reviews about this company and their pitiful customer service. Don't know about their other products but this is trash - $$ down the drain. Eventually ordered from wrist-band.com. One gallon is 80%, FDA regulated, and ships FedEx same day.

It's pure gel. Not sprayable. I now need to purchase pump bottles instead of spray bottle.

I ordered 2 gallons of sanitizer at $50 on March 24th. It's May 15 and I have 2 gallons of gel I ordered the thin spray but got thick gel delivered. 2 emails sent to company on how to fix the issue - their replay is to send me a copy of my original order. What exactly does "***Spray (water thin)*** refill" mean. To me it means it's water thin it will pour into the other water thin spray mister bottles we have received. But I got thick gel that will not work in a spray bottle. the worst customer service reply ever. Very suspicious they won't even answer the phones to resolve problems so the only solution is social media - very un professional. Buyer beware!!!!

This is what i received. Its been sitting for a few days and is still clumpy...Heaven in CS said its still good just let it sit she says!

If I could give zero stars for both the CS - So called Supervisors and quality of products. I've been ordering from here for years- after today they will not get another red scent from me! The cs rep had no knowledge of the product and came back to tell me that it doesn't expire to next year so its good. Asked for a replacement after stating I was on a deadline and was told they had to see movement for me to get a fresh product. You want quality products go to bramble berry, lotioncrafter or making cosmetics. You are guaranteed fresh products and much nicer people to talk to!

Thick, unpourable gel.

I have been a customer for years, but recently purchased the unscented shampoo base, and it has changed. It is a thick gel consistency(shower gel), not a pourable shampoo. I contacted them twice and they said it is the correct product and refused to refund me or send the correct product. Very disappointing, I am no longer a customer. It's evident, that they no longer care about their customers.

This is the ACTUAL vs website photo of a soap I ordered 3 cases of.
Alethe S.

Warning! Products on their websites are NOT WHAT YOU GET IN THE MAIL! Terrible customer service. A woman named stacie handled my customer service claim and blamed this on a BATCH ERROR" No problem I said...just send me the soap i saw from website photos. 3 weeks later she tells me they "dont swap orders". A waste of time and money on my part. How am I swapping if you sent me a soap that look nothing like the soap I ordered? Bulk Apothecary refused to send my replacement soap, instead asked me to reorder. Very dissatisfied.

Bath bombs!! Smell so good!!!

Ask the Community - Bulk Apothecary

Does any one know if this company is cruelty free?

Yes. They are cruelty free.

Tried reaching Bulk Apothecary by phone 1/10/19& 1/11/19 during open hours and the recording says "Sorry, the number you are trying to reach is unable to accept calls at this time". Also, emailed. Has the number changed? Still in Business?

They are just not taking calls. They oversold product that they don't have in stock. From their email list today: "We tried to temporarily take the hand sanitizer off the… Read more

$$$

Clients Beware, You Are NOT Being Told the Truth About Where Your Money Is Going…read more For two years, I tipped my nurse injector at Radiant Divine Medical Spa under the belief that my gratuity was going directly to her, the person who performed the service. What I didn't know, and what no one at the spa ever disclosed, is that all tips across every Radiant Divine location are sent directly to the co-owner, Ryan Devault, a man who is not a licensed medical professional. According to a phone conversation Ryan had with my husband, he personally collects all client tips and redistributes them to employees as he sees fit, including staff members you never interacted with. Not only is this incredibly deceptive, but it's also unethical. Clients are never told that their tips won't go to the person who cared for them, and I was never given the chance to opt out of this hidden policy. Even more troubling, Ryan's wife, Rachel Devault, is a licensed nurse and also a co-owner who works at one of the spa's locations. While I can't confirm whether she accepts tips herself, her dual role makes the entire system feel like it was designed to exploit a loophole, to benefit from client gratuities without disclosing where that money actually goes. When I found out what was happening, I called to cancel my membership and voice my concern. Instead of taking accountability, I was met with resistance and eventually offered a refund, only if I agreed to delete my Google review. That moment told me everything I needed to know about how this business operates. Radiant Divine presents itself as a high-end, professional medical spa, but behind the scenes is a web of non-disclosed financial practices, conflict of interest, and reputation damage control. Clients deserve transparency, especially when it involves money, medical professionals, and trust. Please think twice before doing business here. If I had known the truth earlier, I would never have stepped foot in the place.

Terrible. Serious decline in service. I visited in 2024 for 11 lines on my forehead and received a…read moregreat result. I returned in 2025 for the same thing and received a poor result as the 11 lines remained. I went back a second time in 2025 for them to correct and must have received saline injections because the 11 lines remained. I requested a refund and Rachel declined by saying she did a great job in 2024, so its fine that she failed in 2025. Absurd. Rachel's demeanor, professionalism, and conversation declined as well. I don't know what happened to her, but I'm sorry for her, I still had 11 lines, and I still want my money back. Go elsewhere because Rachel is something else now.
