Upon…read moreinstallation, I realized that I had some that were the wrong size and I needed to exchange them for the correct size. I also realize that I was shorted two cables, and went back for a refund/exchange of product. The guys were nice enough to help me with the exchange however at the bottom of their receipt (buyer beware) it does stay there is a 20% restocking fee. Mind you though the items that I purchased, I literally could have taken two steps to the right and restocked them for them in about 10 seconds. I was simply told sorry that is our policy and it is stated on the receipt. I had to pay $65 restocking fee for seven items (make that eight, he also charged me the restocking fee on the one that they forgot to give me) that I could've simply put back in the box 5 feet to my right. I was barely offered an apology , and basically told that was how things are. Not only have these guys lost my personal business, but they have also lost any future business that I could've provided through my renovation company. Hope you guys are happy, good luck in the future. I would've given them 4 to 5 stars for their original service, but the way the guy at the counter acted when I had to do the exchange was like his job and just gotten 20 times harder. He couldn't figure out the math and as I stated before overcharged me on the restocking fee. Way to handle business guys.

Fast forward to our current project where we have purchased all of our marble backsplash and shower tiles from The Builder Depot. I have spoken with their customer service a number of times before ordering and they have always been super friendly and helpful. I even ordered sample of tiles we were considering before making the big purchase, and I can't stress enough how important that is to see a sample of the actual product before committing to it. I've had a total of 3 freight shipments delivered at various times during our project and everything went well. The tiles were packaged and protected with very minimal (if any) damage during transit all the way to California. I'm not done with the project yet but am happy with what has been installed so far. I can never go back to getting any marble tiles from the big box stores with their pricing and inconsistent quality. I'm a happy customer!

Southern Landscape Supply not only had the best prices but the lowest delivery charges. We decided to stop off to look at the products to ascertain the quality of the product and to verify which sand was the one for the job. Chris, the General Manager of the location, was there that Saturday and extremely helpful with advice on which product of theirs would be best for the job we were working on to get the best results. We originally requested delivery for the same date, which they could accommodate. After leaving we realized that we had a few projects to complete to make our project run more smoothly. We called to change delivery for to the next weekend. They were kind about our needing to delay the delivery and worked with us without any issues or attitude - in fact they were really friendly and understanding about the requested change for delivery date. The next weekend they let us know when the driver would be headed our way instead of just having him show up. The driver who delivered the sand was also fantastic -- he had to back down a hilled driveway and through a narrow gate to get the product as close to the area we needed it as possible. His great driving prevented us from wheelbarrowing two tons of sand all over creation. My back sends him my sincere gratitude too! Next time I will not call all over to get a price -- I will call Chris and the team at Southern Landscape Supply FIRST. They will be my go to for any of their products from here forward.
