I had a Silestone counter installed in my kitchen in March. I love the counter and the installers (from Roma Tile in Syracuse) did an awesome job, however, the service I received from Builder's Best was terrible. The woman I was dealing with (Michele) was very nice, but it was near impossible to get in touch with her. She RARELY returned phone calls or emails. She was an hour late the day of the installation. The installers expected the sink to be there when they arrived, but she had it with her. I know it wasn't her fault, but when she did finally arrive with the sink, there was a crack in it. The installation couldn't be completed. She was then on the search for another one. Another problem I ran into was small divots in the Silestone (again, not her fault.) The installers said they had never seen it before. I pointed it out to Michele. She said she would talk to Roma Tile to have someone come take a look. That was on March 27th. I called her on 4/5. She was not available. I left a message for her and I sent her an email, still no response. I sent another email on 4/9. I finally heard back on 4/10 saying she was in touch with Roma and would get back to me. I emailed her again on 4/12, no response. I sent another email on 4/17. I also sent an email to Builder's Best customer service. I prefer to email so I have something in writing. I have never received any kind of response from Builder's Best. After many emails I decided to make contacts myself. After contacting Roma Tile and the Silestone distributor directly, I finally have someone coming to take a look on 7/17. I should have never paid for the entire installation until I was 100% happy with everything. I feel like Builder's Best wiped there hands of everything since they received their money. Lesson learned. read more
