The delightful scent of coffee was in the air and the staff were absolutely friendly as you approached the counter. Despite a buzz of patrons trickling in and ordering, the coffee was delivered to the table shortly after I sat. The staff obviously had a strong momentum going as I watched other tables being served just as quickly. Before I could even really start sipping on my piping hot Cafe Au Lait, I was served my salad and crepe. It was fun to watch how each person worked their station passionately. The lady preparing the crepes meticulously cleaned her station as she cooked. The staff on coffee were brewing away and sending cups out to diners. Other items were coming out from the back kitchen. They worked in unison like a well oiled machine. I definitely enjoyed my coffee. My salad was generous and hit the spot. The crepe was acceptable. Would I come back? Yeah, definitely my type of breakfast spot when visiting Portsmouth again. I definitely will try their croissants next time as well as check out their wine bar in the evenings!

Area or opt for service at the wine bar, we chose to seat ourselves at the bar after we placed our order. There was a line when we arrived. But service was very efficient, and we were quickly helped. There was a wait for our beverages. However it was well worth it. My mother was looking for a standard drip coffee and due to none being available. An excellent option of an americano was offered and she fell in love with it immediately. The deserts were also very well crafted and had excellent flavor. Definitely a place to stop. Relax people watch and enjoy a little treat with some great coffee options.

And somehow they had a full menu of flavors. I'm glad they allow samples. The flavor was good but the texture was not very creamy. Additionally not sure if it's the product or how my scooped my ice cream but every attempt to eat I dropped more ice cream (the first chunk was during the pass off) and subsequent dropage. I went to get a cup because this cost me $9 without tip! Yikes. And while i never mind paying for great eats- this was really only good. The flavors got lost cause i did do 2 scoops. I am shocked at how high the price to portion ratio, really. The strawberry was good, the coffee Oreo was kinda meh. Oh, they need to place a cover on those brownies on the top counter over the ice cream. Literally its mouth height and everyone including myself was talking into them ordering. Yikes. If I did return it would be for one scoop and really has to be something unique. There are ice cream shoppes that offer quality and quantity for almost half this price.

They have a small selection of baked goods and ice cream flavors that seem to change often. The creamsicle ice cream had delicious flavor but there were bits of something waxy throughout it that I didn't enjoy. I had a chocolate chip cookie that was perfectly salty sweet and perfectly soft. Love the inclusive vibes and kind service.

The staff are always pleasant and serve up your order quickly. At some times they will make a window service line available as well. The shop has a great variety of flavors, and rotates a few seasonal options through. My favorite is Coconut during the summer. In the past it has been a bit of a unicorn flavor here, but this summer I've found it on my past 3 visits! My second choice is the Peanut Butter Fantasy. Prices seem to be on par for premium ice cream. They do accept credit cards as well. There are a few tables inside the shop if you care to sit and enjoy your ice cream inside. Restrooms are also available.

Lots of ice cream options to choose from but I liked that they also have seasonal flavors and so I chose one from that list which was the Graham Central Station and of course the NH Pure Maple Nut. Both were delicious! Inside was a bit old fashioned and dark though so I appreciate the few outdoor seats that they have - Especially since my ice cream started dripping. Location wise, it was a bit busy in Ceres street that day especially since it's close to Moran Towing, restaurants and shops, etc so sometimes it could get a bit crowded and well..not the cleanest looking. Not their fault of course.

To make things worse they didn't offer to do anything for my son and we were there on his birthday. They just refunded me and gave me attitude. they did however offer that I could grab a bigger freezer burnt cake that's been sitting in their freezer without an additional charge. The cake i ordered was already paid for and cleared with my credit card company. When I went to pay for the cake over the phone, they asked me if I wanted to add a tip????? I didn't even see the cake yet and to make a long story short, they didn't even make the cake period. It's a very toxic business. I would never go there. Both 16 oz to-go containers were sticky all over. The least they could do is wipe the sides. It's so unfortunate that the service like that can completely ruin someone's experience. Boo this location. Onto the next. No pride in their work.
