This place is a good place to host a private birthday party for young kids. They also have a nursing room for you to use. They have a parking lot right outside so no need to deal with street parking. My only negative that did not impact my review but is important for the business is to take another look at your shelter in place protocols! We were visiting from out of town and it just so happened to be the morning of the active shooter in nearby Levittown. We had paid reservations already, but the team was only letting in birthday party guests. We were told to wait in our car. Since no one knew where the shooter was or the situation, this had both of our families extremely nervous as we waited in our cars in the wide open parking lot and scoured the internet for updates for over an hour until staff finally let us in when we asked again.

Kept seeing the ads and decided to take a road trip from MA to visit here. I will say my son who's…read morepreschool age really enjoyed his time, which was what mattered the most, but we were incredibly disappointed with the staff and the photo pass, specially at the Elmo meet and greet (8/29/26). The park posts the scheduled times and locations for meet and greet opportunities and you can pay ahead for you to get your photos for the entire day digitally. Thinking this would be a good purchase, we did that, but quickly regretted it for $50! This was our first family vacation and destination trip for my son. We drove 6 hours and stayed nearby so we could have a full day at the park. Our main objective was to get him to see Elmo, who he loves. We weren't sure how he would do with the characters, but he ran right up to Elmo (and all the others) seamlessly which was great surprise to us. We took a family photo from the staff (after we were explicitly and rudely told they would not use our personal phones to do so) which I thought nothing of since we had the photo pass. We went to the kiosk around the corner and after 15 mins of the girl looking for the photo we had taken 2 mins prior, she realized the photographers were cutting people off and it was uncentered, so now not only do we not have any photos at all to show for this magical moment for our family ,we also had nothing to show for the hefty price tag. The girl rudely told us to get back in the line which we had already waited in and we told her that was unacceptable since this was clearly their mistake. Several people behind us saw this interaction and had the same exact thing. They eventually let us go first when Elmo came back from break and treated us as if we were acting entitled and the girl who was messing up everyone's photos very rudely pointed her fingers at us saying "you have no more than 30 seconds" as if any of this was somehow our fault. The photo was ok but not what we envisioned and that entire interaction wasted almost 40 mins of our day and I felt so incredibly mistreated, especially since we had paid for the photopass. What I will also say about the photopass was that despite doing everything they told us, exactly NONE of them showed up in the website as I was told they would and I had to go to customer service to have them uploaded. In this day in age with AI and modern technology, their whole photosystem being based on antiquated websites and the photographers giving a clipboard and some kind of handwritten notes wither photos to manually add them to a queue is unacceptable, especially if they want to act like this is Disneyworld and families can't use their own devices. I'm going to be reaching out with this feedback specifically and asking for the $50 back because it felt almost fraudulent for how poorly executed it is and that even the employees at the main service desk agreed but also are trained to not be able to resolve concerns. Many other people were having similar issues, including one who had paid for a season pass and said they had no pictures from every visit all year, so I felt validated in my frustration. Overall, my son had fun, the rides were mostly great for young kids and all the other character meets went flawlessly and created core memories for him. I'm not sure if this was just an abnormally busy day here for the end of the season, but I had a lot of interactions with other parents who were astonished at how slow the lines for all the food stands were with a single person working all of them and that barely any employees had any sort of empathy for the clientele this park attracts. Others I talked to that regularly come said they never saw it like that. They need to have some compassion and understanding that they're entertaining young kids and get their act together on the digital photos if they're going to continue to budget for mass advertising on social media to drive traffic from far away like us.

They have a walking path through the woods with a natural playground and sandbox, a bird house building to watch and interactive displays, a mini zoo inside a house with small animals and activities including a treehouse. There's animals/insects outdoors such as turkey vultures, turtles, a butterfly house and a bird observatory (cute on the inside with toys for the kiddos - be sure to read the story about the couple who opened the center). And a natural playscape outdoors. There's also a bunch of fairy houses throughout the property that girl scouts donated. And lots of trails through the forest. They also have Magic Mornings for ages 2-4 Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays - but register ahead as they only have a certain amount of spots each day (it's seasonal - they have in fall and spring but not summer - see website). It's an hour class for $10 and includes a snack, craft, nature walk etc. They usually pull out an animal each class. It's great to get some time in nature with other kids. In summer, they have a full week of Magic Mornings in their Itty Bitty Briar Camp. Ms. Heidi teaches it and she is just great. They have a different theme every day such as sun, water, clouds etc and there's an activity each day (visit pond and catch tadpoles, water play, craft pertaining to theme). They have preschool pioneers for ages 4-5 and summer camp for older kids for a week in late June. *Just beware in June that parking is limited due to school field trips and you may not fit in either of the lots; you may have to park out front of the house to the left (which is fine - she just doesn't want buses idling there) They also have field trips to gardens and to the shore, classes for seniors, family nature nights, hot smores nights... Only negative (besides parking, which they can't really control), is the "snacks" for kids at Magic Mornings aren't the healthiest. One was cinnamon sugar graham crackers with whipped cream- regular would have been fine. 2 days were cheddar gold fish. Another day was blue jello with whipped cream. And some red licorice - the kind that whips. Fruit Loops were used for colors. So, if you don't like your child eating sugar, let them know you have a dietary restriction or bring your own snack (snack time is ~10 min and probably not needed but the kids always love snack time!). Some options that would be healthier and just as easy would be pretzel sticks, fruit, crackers, popcorn, veggies, string cheese...but I guess those all cost more besides pretzels/crackers/popcorn.

Every day they came home excited about what they learned and what they made. They learned great knife skills, safe handling and cooking of meat, how to read and then measure from many types of recipes and they did it along with some other children in their age groups. The teachers were phenomenal and so nurturing and the facilities are extremely clean and organized. At the end of each day, we were able to see and taste with them what they made. I highly recommend this particular Young Chef's Academy as a great way to teach your children culinary skills targeted at their specific age levels.

If you are a Lego collector like me, this is the place to go if you want to trade or pick up something rare because the other Brick Shops are very disappointing and very expensive.
