The staff was punctual, kind, smiley, helpful, and just all around great. The food was delicious and we had more than enough, especially on the dessert end (which always has fallen short with other caterers in the past). The caterers were kind enough to offer to wrap plates to go for anyone/everyone who wanted, which was just a really great extra detail that helped so much. So many guest complimented the food and asked where it came from, ALWAYS a good sign. Email and phone correspondence were always fast and detailed throughout the planning process. I originally was over budget and Joan was super helpful in re-drafting the menu. I look forward to working with Franklin Caterers for future events.

There are not enough positive things to say about the Warren Conference Center and all the staff!!…read moreI just had my wedding there 2 weeks ago and couldn't be happier with how things turned out! We began planning our wedding over a year and a half ago and when our original coordinator left her position, we thought things might fall through the cracks and that planning might become tricky. Not so! Ashley S. took over as our event manager and was amazing!! Ashley not only answered every email promptly (and believe me, I sent her a lot of emails over the course of 15 months!), but she also took the time to answer every question I had, no matter how insignificant it seemed. During the entire planning process, Ashley helped me to figure out the logistics and all the moving pieces to make our wedding weekend flow seamlessly. When things seemed to get hectic the week before the wedding, Ashley assured me that she had done this many times and that things would work out - and they definitely did! We had our rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding at the Warren Center and that was the BEST decision about the wedding we made - it was so easy and convenient to have all our friends and family check into their rooms (or for the bridal party, the super-fun cabin!) and then be done traveling for the whole weekend! I had a specific vision for our wedding and had lots of little details I wanted incorporated into the design - Ashley not only executed my ideas, but did so in a way that was so much better than anything I had imagined! Everything from the ceremony set up to the centerpieces and the donut "cake" that she somehow managed to create for us - it was ridiculously amazing! The food at both the rehearsal dinner and the wedding itself was delicious and plentiful and we received many compliments on the "unique" menus. Ashley and Judy the catering manager on site made sure my husband and I both had plenty of time to eat as well as plenty of food! I never had an empty glass in my hand! I can't thank them enough for ensuring that we were fed and happy all night! If you're looking for a wedding venue that offers everything in one location - rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, lodging - along with a beautiful location, amazing value, great food and the most friendly and helpful staff, then the Warren Center is it!

The venue easily seated 100+ people so everyone had plenty of room, but the carpeting and interior was a bit dated

I've ordered a couple of different cold sandwiches and had some of their salads over the summer, and they were very good and a very good price. Then, this week I was dying for a hot sandwich so I googled Quaker and behold they had a daily menu posted on a website! I wasn't sure if it was an old menu, so I took a ride over there to check it out. I ordered a meatball sub and I'm happy to say it certainly hit the spot! I told my coworkers and I will tell others to give "Quaker Deli" another try! I love the new menu and I'm so happy that hot good quality sandwiches are available! Keep it up!

This behavior is beyond unprofessional, which was my grievance in the first review to begin with -- not that they made a mistake with my order, but that their response to their mistake was rude and unprofessional. There were several points since MAY this situation could have come to a peaceful end, or at least an end, period. They could have refunded me and the issue would have been resolved and I would have updated my review to reflect that. They could have done nothing, or they could have responded to the reviews myself and my family left, and then we all move on with our lives. Instead, she decided to make up factious stories for no other reason then to defame and harass me. I once again question how many people were bullied into taking down honest reviews because this company is willing to resort to unethical tactics to try and suppress bad reviews. I stand behind my original review and every time this business decides to take irrational and spiteful actions against me, whether it be through her lawyers or members of her family stalking my Linkedin profile, I am more convinced in my assessment that this business is unprofessional. Since Sara has already responded to my review and I've written my rebuttal, I personally see no reason to update my review or to write new ones. However, if she continues to slander me, then I will continue to update my reviews to reflect the chaos that she is deciding to perpetuate. I will, however, under no circumstances, take down my reviews. The facts stated are truthful and the conclusions I've come to are my opinion.

My whole family were invited to a wedding at Lord Thompson Manor on New Year's Eve. What a blast!…read moreUpon arrival Lord Thompson Manor is a beautiful mansion with awesome grounds nicely decorated for the holidays inside and out. The wedding ceremony was here and after we toasted the bride and groom. The staff made sure all the guests had champagne for the toasting. For cocktail hour many hors d'oeuvres were passed around plus several tables of food you would expect at a high end catering venue. We enjoyed everything from steak to vegetables to many to name. The service was excellent. There were many staff walking around to either pass out hors d'oeuvres or clean up after us. I've never seen so many staff at a wedding venue doing this. This was over the top. For diner there were several rooms with 3 or 4 table each. We even had personalized menus with our names on them at our table. Never seen this. What a nice touch. For dinner we started with a nice salad with lettuce, nuts, and cheese. The only choice for the main course was Filet Mignon. I enjoyed it but not everyone likes meat. There were no other option. That was strange, not sure why they did that. Before dessert we were back on the dance floor. DJ was great. The were 2 bars and the bartenders were on top of their game all night. For me since it was New Year's Eve I drank Champagne all night. Luckily we had a shuttle to us back to the hotel we were staying at. No driving for me. Dessert of course was wedding cake and a bunch of other fine delicious items, ice cream, brie with pecans in a sweet sauce, and others. At this point I stopped looking because I was stuffed. We toasted at midnight with more champagne. Then came the after party. I can't say enough for Lord Thompson Manor, the decor was beautiful, staff were amazing, efficient, polite and there were many staff personnel to assist. We all had a great time.
