Then the hostess told me they were out of chips and salsa. After waiting another hour, I asked to speak with a manager about a refund. At that point, the waiter said my food was finally coming out, so I requested a refund just for the chips and salsa. The manager then said they actually weren't out and could make them--which only added to the confusion. This isn't a bad sports bar, however it's spun as a restaurant. Regularly smells of weed, of course that's the entire DC area from my experience. I'm all for everyone enjoying themselves but this city seems to be the pinnacle of smoking weed in public, and I live in the Atlanta area. It's extremely loud when an important game is on the tv's. It makes no sense that there are only 2-3 people working in this entire restaurant during the dinner rush. At least half of the restaurant is empty, but there's at least 10 people waiting to be seated at the empty tables. Nobody has come to tell these folks anything in terms of why they can't be seated in a half empty restaurant. There's no hostess at the front. No staff working the takeout section (as I'm standing here writing this, people are just walking around the counter grabbing bags food... No clue of it's their order or not). Ridiculous. Also, I placed my order online. My food was supposed to be ready at 7:30. It's almost 20 minutes past that time and there's no sign of it. If this restaurant ican't staff efficiently, then change they need to change how they operate. Instead of having servers assigned to every table, do what some of the airports do. Allow people to self-seat, and either put a digital tablet at every table for customers to place their orders, or allow people to order with a QR code menu. That way, customers are afforded a measure of autonomy over their experience, instead of being left to languish in the lobby in perpetuity, frustrated about why it's taking so long to be seated in a half empty restaurant. Once the order has been placed, it would be delivered by food runners (formerly the "servers") who only come to the table to deliver food, drinks, or anything else requested. If customers need anything else (e g., extra sauce, extra napkins, another drink, a refill, etc.), instead of waiting for the server to drop by, they would simply input what they want into the tablet, or place that order on the QR code. This would save the wait staff so much time and eliminate unnecessary trips to the table to "check on" people. This process has worked extremely well in almost every airport restaurant that I've visited, and I think that this is a model that this restaurant should really consider looking into if it wants to survive. read more

This location always makes me sad because I truly love this chain. It's a great bar place. However, this location is a disappointment. I've been here a few times in the last year and this last time was probably the last time I will go. When you walk in, there is always a wait for someone to greet you no matter how empty it is. Secondly, if you sit at the bar it still takes a while even though employees literally see you walk up. I'm not saying you have to take my order immediately, but a hello would be nice. I like to be thorough when I order to ensure I don't have people running back and forth, however, they have to enjoy it because I never get what I asked for the first time. When we walked in, we were not greeted. There was a customer very upset requesting corporate's number for the bad and unprofessional service she received from a young lady that worked there. It was 9:55pm when we sat down, the place didnt close until 11pm. We were only gonna order an appetizer and a couple drinks. As we were on our phones placing an order, there were two waitresses standing nearby and you can hear them talking saying "you gonna tell them the kitchen close at 10:15?", so the other waitress told us after we already over-heard them talking about it. As we got our drinks and food, everyone that worked there kept starring at us eat as if they didn't want us there. The bartender, (lil lightskin female with glasses) did serve us our food and drinks, she was respectful and nice. Customers shouldn't hear your employees talking about other customers especially is a negative way. So around 10:30, the bartender walked over near where the To-go section is and turned the music off, so it was complete silence, the TV's were muted. We just hurried up, ate our food and threw back our drinks, which tasted like all puree. The drinks had way too much liqueur.... We did tip the 18% that the site recommended, I normally tip a lot higher if I receive great service. I probably won't ever be back to this location. Everyone wants and appreciate a tip but don't want to do their job and earn it. I could made drinks and wings at home but I decided to give you all my money. If I was the DM, everyone who worked on the floor, would have been fired, including the manager. There was no sign of leadership, but her engaging in the negative behavior with the servers. We walked in and there was not a hostess but a sign to seat yourself. The place felt very solemn and a lot of folks were sitting around looking hungry and annoyed. That should have been our sign but this was the place my coworker chose so I was trying to be a good sport. We tried to sit in one area that wasn't blocked off and the bartender yelled from behind the bar saying that area was closed. We walked to another area and sat down. There are QR codes on the table so we pulled up the menu to decide what to order. We waited and no one came over to greet us. After smiling and trying to say hello to a server and being ignored, we decided this wasn't going to work. It had been at least 15 minutes of no one coming up to the table. Went out and NFL Sunday and the place was packed. Our server Tiarra was running her butt off, but she had tables all over the dining room. Plenty of food runners...the problem appears to be a lack of a kitchen manager. My wings came out 20 minutes before my fries and 30 minutes before my table mates salad.
