I was thoroughly impressed with this location. I've been to the other locations on Saratoga and in Union City. My experience is usually I have to wait a long time for the food to come out. It only took 5-10 minutes and it was fresh and hot. Most importantly, it was good! It was probably the best tasting of all the times I've been to BWW before at the other spots. Service was great. Ines deserves a shout out because she was super attentive. She checked up on us quite often so we were able to take advantage of happy hour. Even during the last few minutes she made sure to get it put in before it ended. I guess I happened to come in at a good time because it got super crowded 30 minutes after I came in. But even then, I noticed our server was helping out all the other tables, she did a great job. Definitely a great experience on my end. read more

We came in tonight to watch the Final Four games, hoping for a fun, energetic atmosphere. Unfortunately, the experience ended up being a clear example of the inconsistent service others have mentioned. Our first server, Ruby, was excellent. She was attentive, quick, and genuinely friendly. When her shift ended, we closed out with her and she let us know her replacement, Andrea, would be right over. That didn't happen. It took close to 20 minutes for Andrea to come by, and there was no greeting or sense of ownership of the table. She asked if we wanted to order, but after that there was little to no follow-up. From that point forward, service became very difficult to access. Another team member delivered our food, but no one checked in. I ended up getting up myself to find basic items like salt, pepper, and ketchup. When we were ready to order another drink, we waited about 10 minutes but couldn't find our server anywhere. I walked up to the bar to order, where there were only two people sitting, and was told in a dismissive way that they don't take walk-up orders and I would need to go through my server, who we couldn't locate. The restaurant was only about half full, which made the lack of responsiveness even more frustrating. Another server, Valerie, stepped in and was great. She was friendly, apologetic, and actually took ownership of helping us. She followed up a couple of times and did what she could to improve the situation. We also ordered a bottle of wine and were brought a partially empty bottle. We chose not to drink it, as we had no way of knowing how long it had been open, whether it had been served to another table, or how it had been handled. Valerie checked with the bartender and said a new bottle would be brought, but it never came. The charge was still on the bill until we asked to have it removed. When Andrea eventually came back, we asked for the check. Even at that point, there was no acknowledgment, no apology, and no effort to recover the experience. Ruby and Valerie were both bright spots, but overall this felt like a breakdown in service standards. More concerning was the lack of any visible management presence or supervision. There did not appear to be anyone overseeing the floor or stepping in when it was clear service had broken down. We gave this location another try, but unfortunately this visit confirmed that the service is just too inconsistent for us to return. read more

After trying out hot, cajun, and Nashville hot wings, I have to say that the wings were pretty decent, being prepared well without being too dry. My favorite flavor out of the three I tried has got to be cajun, though, as the cajun spices really came through. Wow, I forgot how bad the service was here. Came in the other day to grab wings and drinks with some friends, and we left pretty disappointed. The wait time from when we placed our order to when the food finally came out was almost an hour, and when it did arrive, everything was barely warm at best. The flavors were actually good; we liked the honey BBQ and parmesan garlic sauces, but the wings themselves were just sad. Soft, not hot, and definitely not fresh. The potato wedges were okay, slightly warmer than the wings, but still nothing to write home about. I really wish I had checked the reviews here before I went in. As others have mentioned, no host, so we did self-seating at the bar. It was about 75% full, but nothing compared to like a major sporting event. Server took a while to get to us, but at first it was reasonable. I wanted the bottomless apps. I order my first two apps as allowed. I also understand that no one wants to bust their butt bring apps constantly for $10 (or $13 in this case, but I can forgive that - Bay Area prices), so I ordered another food item as well. My friend ordered wings. Server brings us a watery soda. I let her know. She offers to exchange it, but I tell her don't worry about it. She says she'll have them check the syrup. Long wait for the first round of apps, but they finally show up. So far not great, but nothing absolutely horrendous either. The entrees come. My friend asks for a place setting. The food runner says he'll get it. I'm assuming he just forgot. So we're waiting and we finally flag down out server. She's carrying beers to another table. She says, "I'll be right back with you". Totally understandable. Except, instead of coming back to us, she goes to do other things. My friend ends up getting up and getting his own place setting. By now we've probably been there 1 hour - most of it spent waiting for our server or our food. I ask for a refill on my soda. She says, "can you do me a favor and use our soda station?" So you want me to get my own drink at a table service restaurant? Look I'm not above getting my own drink, but we pay a premium for table service - and of course you know, we tip too! That was the first thing I really didn't like. Another 10 minutes or so goes by, and I have to flag down our server again - obviously she didn't bother to check on us. I put in an order for my second round of apps. Probably 10 more minutes pass and now she's clearly ignoring us on purpose - my guess is it's out of guilt. When she walks by, she says, "I'm so sorry, our kitchen is really backed up". That's possible, but how long does it really take to make fried pickles? Another 20 minutes of so pass, and I try to get her attention again. I finally do, and I ask her to just cancel the apps and bring the check. I think it was obvious that I was upset, but I was still trying to be nice. She brings the check. Doesn't offer a manager. Doesn't offer to take off the bottomless apps that we barely got and certainly not "bottomless". And has an upcharge for a side that she never told me about. At this point I'm pretty peeved, but again, I'm still going out of my way to be nice. To make it all worse, someone they knew came in and sat at the table next to ours, and they had 3 servers helping them instantly. But what REALLY got me is how when we paid the bill she said, "next time you come in, and it's busy like this, 'I got you.'" Like, bish, with this service, what would make you think I'm coming back any time soon? Why would I want you as my server again? This BWW was just ok. The first thing that I noticed walking in was how dark it was! The dim lighting made it hard to read menus. It is fairly large inside with plenty of seating. We came in on a Sunday afternoon and it was not crowded at all. There are many TV's tuned to all sorts of sporting events. Service wise, our server was very nice. She took our orders, brought the food as quickly as it came out and offered refills on our drinks. As far as food goes, it was typical for this restaurant. I had the Honey BBQ Chicken salad which was fine. My family ordered the 30 bone-in wings and said they were also just fine. Got the traditional wings with the lemon pepper dry rub (didn't realize there's also lemon pepper sauce as a flavor option, so I ordered some of that sauce on the side so I could try it). Of course, I had to select the carrots and celery on the side for my bunnies (comes for free with the wings order). I'm a fan of the BWW onion rings (even though they forgot to give me the yummy southwestern ranch it usually comes with), and the flavor and texture of this side dish didn't disappoint and was just as expected. Also took advantage of the promo for 10 free boneless wings, to eat as leftovers during the week, though I did take a bite to try the garlic parmesan flavor (it was alright.. not as good as Wingstop IMO). It was easy to order online in advance with a selected pickup time. I arrived early, asked them to put it in, and it was ready in 10 minutes no problem. Service was helpful and professional. And the quality was consistent with what I typically get at BWW.... juicy flavorful lemon pepper chicken, and the boneless wings were saucy and made well, they even gave extra pieces. I would really like to say it was good service. However she started with would we like to start with an appetizer we did order one. We got our drinks and then our meal. And we have been done for about 15 minutes and they still haven't brought our appetizer she hasn't come back to refill drinks or anything else. We had to find her in the restaurant for the bill which we still don't have and they barely turned on the outside light as we sat here as it got darker and darker. I normally don't write negative reviews, but the experience my friends and I had tonight definitely deserves one. First off, this has nothing to do with the food the food was actually great! The wings were flavorful, and the tots and wedges were perfectly cooked. Unfortunately, the service was a completely different story. When we arrived, everything started off fine. We were seated promptly and given menus. But after that, it was like we stopped existing. Our server, Will, never came back to take our order. After waiting about 50 minutes, we finally asked another server if someone could help us. She was kind enough to say she'd find our server, and about 10 minutes later, Will finally reappeared. We were finally able to place our order an entire hour after sitting down. Our food came out in a reasonable time (thanks to other staff members), but that's when things went downhill again. We realized our meals came with soft drinks, but Will never took our drink orders. When we managed to get his attention, he seemed annoyed and took them begrudgingly. We also had to ask for napkins, which felt like an inconvenience to him. Throughout our meal, we were never checked on for refills or additional drink orders. When one of my friends politely asked for another beer, Will literally rolled his eyes at us. That was the moment it really crossed the line we weren't being rude, just asking for basic service. It honestly felt like we were a burden to him for even being there. To top it all off, when it came time to pay, we had to flag down other staff members again because Will had disappeared completely. I rarely leave bad reviews, but this experience was disappointing. The food was solid, but the service was hands down some of the worst I've experienced. Came here last Friday night w a small group of friends. Place wasn't busy, but our order took very long. Not only did we receive our drinks late, they served it to us maybe 30 min before close. She didn't give us our fountain drinks until we were almost finished w our food & had unpleasant energy. A staff member, (seemingly a manager), scolded the bartender in front of customers w much attitude, which felt unprofessional and disrespectful. When we got there, no one was at the booth to seat us. Someone at the back counter yelled for us to self seat. Okay cool. There was only two smaller tables clear so we sat at one. All the other tables had food, cups and trays at the table. There weren't many people inside so it was shocking to see. I came in here excited to experience this place but unfortunately our Waitress, Adriana had a death in the family or something cause she was ready to be gone. I work graveyard and today was my day off and stop by BWW to watch the a couple nba games so I sat at the bar. The bartender was extremely helpful and nice. Believe her name was Jenny G. She was extremely helpful , polite, kind and overall very nice. Jenny let me know today's special along look into the BWW app after signing up for rewards and promotions. It was also pretty amazing watching her cover the main bar as well as many of the tables that were behind the bar. Thought bartender only cover the bar but Jenny went beyond that. So many TV's and a great atmosphere to watch sports! Came here for the Adesanya v.Peirera fight and it was packed! My friends and I barely found a table. They have great prices for tall beers and Happy Hour starts at 9 where you can get half off on a selection of appetizers. We got the $5 mango cart tall glasses and then when Happy Hour came around we got chips and guac, and the fried pickles which were pretty damn addicting! The guac lacked so much flavor and the pico de gallo on top didn't help much. It was bland and too thick where the chips were breaking each time. Also, one of the waitresses was standing around near our table and socializing/on her phone. Other than that our waitress was good and always checked up on us. I've been wanting to try BWW but there are few locations near my house so I never really got the chance, but today there was a promotion on Door Dash for Dash Pass users and I had spare time to drive farther than I usually do for food. I ordered pick up through Door Dash and scheduled hours ahead, but the moment I got to the restaurant they cancelled my orders. I asked them why and they accused me of "scamming" them. I only briefly exchanged words with the manager and the first thing he said to answer my cancelled orders question was calling me a scam?? This attitude is unacceptable. I didn't want to cause a scene over some wings so I left quickly after being accused of scamming as a paying customer. I should've read the reviews about this place. Never going to BWW again. The food was good overall. The service however, is an entirely different story. As someone who was a server I understand when your section is busy it is difficult to attend to your tables. However, my friend and I were at the bar this evening and our server was attending to 3 tables throughout our visit. When we initially came in we got attended to fast. Once our meals were sent to the table things shifted dramatically. At no point did our server ask how our meal was or if we needed anything else. My friend was interested in getting dessert, but got tired of waiting after 20 minutes. To clarify, the server was really only attending to one table that sat down since the rest had their food. Afterwards, she started organizing menus and at no point checked in on us (we were done with our entire meal). I finally had to approach the server myself to pay the tab.
