Wow, what a massive fail and it was the Manager! Waiting to order To Go food, and the manager walked by 5 times with his face in his phone! First time ordering at this location. I ordered 2 of the buy one get one wings, the 15 pcs. Since it's buy one get one, 1 order is 30 pc. I should've gotten 60 wings because I ordered 2x. Turns out, I am short not just a couple of wings, but 10 pcs of wings. Whoever did the packing, clearly didn't count well. They put the sticker 25 (to label 25 pcs) but it's only 20. You can see from the picture they put 5 pc each for the 4 flavors. I regret not checking because who knew. I have never had this problem with the other location I used to order from. This place is honestly a hit or miss. It is either really good, or I feel like I've wasted my money. I always get the chicken wrap with Parmesan garlic (HIGHLY RECOMMEND!) and the wrap is always good! The fries are a hit or miss. Sometimes they're crispy, sometimes not. The atmosphere can either be loud with the music super loud or everything is super quiet. Servers are usually really friendly, except for one of the older gals that has an attitude or like she doesn't want to be there. One thing I have to say is that if you order to go, make sure you check the bag before you leave. I ALWAYS add queso to my fries and they only remember to add it on 50% of the time. One time I redeemed points for a dry seasoning.. and they literally only gave me a ranch sized cup of the seasoning, and not the full size bottle like it is supposed to be, and I didn't notice it until I got home. So when we finished our appetizers, she didnt come by to pick up our dirty dishes. When we started placing our dirty dishes at an empty table, it felt the server neglected us more. The only time she visited was when our food was ready and at the beginning when we wanted to order. The boneless wings tasted just fine. There are better options on Meridian in BOTH directions. Long version: 1. We have seen our waitress two, maybe three, times the entire hour and twenty-five minutes that we have been here. 2. Our food, two burgers and two ten piece wings, were delivered 45 mintues after our order had been placed. 3. We spent 30 out of the 45 minutes that we waited for our food for our waitress to walk past so that we could ask her to clear the table of our appetizer plates, which we ordered and and finished before we ordered our entrees, and for a refill of our beverages. Refills were brought to our table but the appetizer plates that we had stacked at the end of the table were left, which left us with less table space because we still also had our original drink glasses. 4. The food: The two orders of wings were reported as fine aside from being "a little chewy." I was offered a wing and can confirm that they were chewy and, for myself, not nearly heated well enough. Also, did BWW change their medium sauce? It tastes like it has way more vinegar than I remember. It could legitimately be used as a brine after tasting what I tasted. The two burgers we ordered had no sauce on them and the slices of bacon were so chewy and stiff that we had to remove them to eat the burgers. 4. I know that it's a BWW, but this location could benefit by turning the volume of their speakers down a smidge. We want to watch the games but we also do not want to have to shout to speak to someone that we are sitting next to. I've worked in the service industry and I know that it can suck but this is just sad and not worth the $115.79 that we spent, including our tip. We know that not all BWW are like this, but we won't be back to this one. I come here for the atmosphere on game days and the drinks, not the food. As a vegetarian, I don't eat much here and I generally don't eat at bars anyhow. The Puyallup location is convenient, rarely busy, and provides adequate service. The bar has plenty of available chairs, and the drinks are reasonably priced. However, if it gets hectic, some servers may clear your tables while you're still at them. The energy on game day is through the roof. You can watch some of the UFC fights, college football games, and even the prime-time NFL games. It's an excellent location for unhurried downtime and not many drunk people are causing trouble. read more

So, I will leave a short review. I ordered at 3 PM. I was told it would be 15 minutes. I arrived a little late at 3:30. There was no plan with the front staff. I waited in the unadvertised pre-paid line for 10 minutes. Then I asked if I was in the correct line (nobody to ask which is why it took 10 minutes). I left the pre-paid lone and went to the desk to pay for my order. I had to re-enter the pre-paid line for another 20 minutes. My name was then put on a list with my phone number (the same information they already had). This means my order was never started. After waiting another 10 minutes I approached the front of the line to ask the young guy with two names of paper lists and numbers if my order was ready. Guess what, he didn't have the list with my name on it. That means my order still was not started. Insert frustration. Then a sassy waitress approached me and asked if I needed something. I replied, "I have waited for an hour and would like my food. I was told it would be 15 minutes ". The waitress then suggested I wait in my car and they'll call me when its ready. I replied, "I'm not leaving until I get food". Then she rolled the eyes and got the manager, Jason. Jason asked me what my issue was. I repeated the hour wait, lack of food issue. I explained to Jason that I was told my food would be ready in 15 minutes when I called my order in. Jason's response, "I don't believe anyone here would tell you 15 minutes when its and hour or an hour and a half". Yup, Jason called out my integrity. As a 19 year active duty member in the Air Force I promise you Jason, my integrity is not lacking. Jason eventually handed me my food and said nothing. A simple, hey we should have told you it would be an hour or more would have been acceptable. By not saying anything, Jason said a lot. I will be following up tomorrow. As of now the South Hill BWW has lost a customer of many years. I can deal with the poor communication on Super Bowl Sunday. I can deal with young kids working beyond their normal requirements. So Buffalo Wild Wings has always been my wife's and my go to for bar food and draft beers that is better tasting then just dive bar food. It is also our go to for UFC fight night, and we normally make a date out of it. Finding a table in the bar Saturday night was easier then I thought. About an hour before the fight and the place wasn't packed at all, the bar was busy but we have seen much worse. We picked a table at the bar against the wall where I could easily look over and see my surroundings. We were greeted within 7 minutes and our server told us she would be right back. The entire night I had no issue at all with service. As a matter of fact, the service is why I gave 3 stars. Our server was slammed, in between multiple tables, and twice I saw her disrespected and once another patron put their hands on her. My issue with this particular Bdubs is the food, and the management. There were two major issues where a manager was needed, and both times I was really thrown off by her lack of professionalism. We watched two different servers be physically touched by customers, meanwhile the manager is twerking and dancing in a corner by the bar. While she did go address the issues, it's hard to take someone serious when you don't take your job serious. Moving onto the food, the food has really gone downhill. My wife's boneless wings were burnt and dry, and everything else on her plate was extra greasy. I ordered the hatch queso and 10 traditional wings mango habanero. It's my go to. Unfortunately, my wings were also burnt and over done. I ate a total of 3. In all of this, I refused to complain. We watched the fight, had some beers, and ate the food that wasn't burnt. I just couldn't bring myself to complain due to how slammed my server was, and how she continued to do a great job. So they can Text you your bill and you can pay it on your phone. Watch the screen carefully because it will default you to leaving them a hefty tip. We got our food, she delivered it and didn't ask if we needed anything else. For example, bbq sauce for my kiddos chicken strips. It took ten minutes before anyone came around to ask. There were only 4 tables and at minimum 8 employees. She never came back to ask how the food was. Thats a fairly normal question to ask. My chicken wings were completely dry. Out of my whole order I ate 4. My daughter said the chicken was ok and my littlest one said her mac and cheese was disgusting. I paid my bill, left the cash on the table. If it was not illegal, I would not have paid for one cent of that terrible food or the service. What this waitress did not get was a tip. When we left my eldest child pointed out even when she thanked her for the sauce she finally got, she walked away... did not even say you are welcome. Incredibly unprofessional.
