Jessyka was our server in the dining room and she was very attentive. We stopped in for a quick bite and we had not been to this location. Actually I had not been to a B Dubs in several years. It's still the same fun place with plenty of big screen TVs and booths. What was missing was they don't have NTN / Buzztime trivia here? As far as I could recall all BW3s at one time many years ago had the trivia games. Maybe they stopped carrying it? Disappointing. The food is the same as I recall except the queso sauce was slightly different. This has hatch chilis in it but not as flavorful anymore. Maybe it needs some chili powder but I found it a bit bland. The black bean burger is still the same and I enjoyed it. It came with a side of skinny fries which are good. We also had some guacamole and it came out in a big serving cup. My love affair with chicken wings has been long and torrid. While at school in Galesburg, Illinois I spent many a Monday evening delighting in the delicious Wings Night at Cherry Street. I have been recently introduced to the glory of Buffalo Wild Wings. So far I am a BIG fan. The delicious sauces they use are a fantasy of flavors. I always am quite satisfied with my choices. However, this was not the case when I chose to sample the wares at the Peru branch of BWW's. The wings were definitely not saucy enough for me. As someone who enjoys condiments and sauces and usually finds foods smothered in them quite enjoyable, I was terribly disappointed in my wings. They were not that saucy and I was left wanting more. As far as food fare goes, this is pretty standard for a BWW. If you are unfamiliar- beer, sports, and wings a plenty! The menu is actually quite large now including everything from flatbreads, to salads, sandwiches, fried pickles, and just about everything in between at a reasonable price. This BWW really sticks out in my mind because of the service. The people who work here are SOOO nice! They are friendly, attentive, and happy to give their recommendations when asked! Very poor service the last 2 times I have gone to the Peru location. Left both times before even ordering drinks. The first time we waited over 20 minutes without any contact with anyone besides the host seating us. The second time we came in there were whole chicken wings on the floor and chips all over the seat. I'm a glutton for punishment. We've eaten carry out from BWW probably 20 times. Of the last 10 times we are there, I think 4 or 5 of them have been screwed up somehow. Sometimes they forget items. The last 2 times, I arrive and pay, and then sit for 15, 20, 25 minutes. People arrive after and pay and get meals and leave. Overall, a pretty bad experience. My daughter and I went here while shopping. We ordered the appetizer sampler and the boneless snack basket. Our waitress brought us our drinks and took our order but did not see her again. Another waiter brought our food, which was not correct. I like "B-Dubs" and have enjoyed them from coast to coast in my travels. But this particular spot in Peru, IL is in need of a regional manager to go in and retrain this crew from the ground up. It's clean, a great location, but the waitress, then kitchen and even the unprofessional manager took 97 minutes (yes, I timed it) to finally deliver our entire order in which 2 items were still wrong but we accepted them anyway to try and help them and to feed my 80+ yr old Mother in law. Our party of 10 for a 12:45pm Sunday lunch somehow threw them into a tailspin that they kept making mistake after mistake until the manager came out {after we asked twice} and discounted our bill for the items we did not receive {hey - thanks} and I checked to be sure they did not "auto tip" on such a large group. They didn't - smart move. We left $1 in change as a tip in a $100 meal hoping they may get the point. Somehow, I doubt it. We will not be back to this location but will enjoy the two near my home in Naperville, IL.
