This was an odd visit to a classic restaurant. First off our waitress was very slow and inattentive; especially on refills. Our onion rings were rather wet, but the rest of the food was edible but under seasoned. The restrooms were mid at best but got the job done. I just had the worst experience I have ever had at this location. About 3/4 of their tables were empty , but they refused to give us a booth because of their rotation policy. The hostess named Olivia actually raised her voice at me and wanted to argue with me because I wanted to be seated at a booth. I told her I wasn't going to argue with her, but I was not going to sit at a table when they had numerous empty booths. She said she wasn't going to seat us and she went to get the manager. The manager was nice and seated us at a booth immediately. I ordered traditional wings and my server brought me boneless wings when I had ordered traditional. They were overcooked and extremely dry and not what I ordered. My server said she would put in an order for traditional wings for me since she brought the wrong kind. I waited over half an hour and still never received my wings. All of my friends and family were finished eating and I still didn't get my wings. I asked to see the manager. She was nice and gave me free gift cards, but I doubt if I return anytime soon. I would Iike to give a shout out to their server Jen. I would recommend her if you eat at this location. My son and his fiance (both military) went to the Mt Venon location last night for their veterans day meal. The waitress told them they were doing it Sunday instead (after taking their drink orders) She then gave them the certificate to use the next day, but later came back and took it from them. They spent over $70 plus tip on their meals with the intent to return Sunday for an after church lunch. When they called to verify the veterans event, the lady on the phone said they weren't doing anything like that and called my son a liar. We will no longer patronize this business and suggest all vets reconsider before going there. There are several places in town with wings that will be getting our business from now on. read more

Service was exceptionally great! Our server was very attentive to us and kept her section nice and clean. She was very polite and made sure we knew there would be up-charges on some of our items as we ordered. My boyfriend and I came here together. He got a large split three ways with onion rings and the strawberry lemonade. I got a medium split two ways with wedges and the black cherry limeade. Went in to pick-up a take out order on 3-4-2023 at 11:15 am. A young woman approached me from further back in the store with a blank look on her face and asked, can I help you? She didn't greet me with a smile and a comment like, Hi welcome to Wild Wings, how may I help you? After I told her that I was there to pick-up a take-out order and gave her my last name, she didn't say, let me go check on that order with a smile. Oh no. She said nothing and went into a back room. About a minute later another young woman came out from the back with a couple of bags and a blank look on her face, sat the bags on the counter said, there you go and turned and walked back into the back. There was no, hi Mr. -----, here is your order. Thanks for coming in and please come back again. None of that. This manager needs to teach the employees basic manners, common courtesy and basic customer service. Both employees gave me the impression that they could care less about the job and they were going to put in as little effort into the job as possible. I got wings and half of them had rubbery, undercooked skin and some of the meat was undercooked as well. The ones that were cooked well were good. So if you can tolerate super lazy, indifferent service and poorly cooked food, then you'll love it. Did I also say it was expensive? It is. Not a terrible experience. Everything before the food wasn't the best. The wait time and the time it took for the understaffed servers to get around the tables was too long. Was going to order regular wings but its two for one boneless Thursday and not being one to pass up a bargain got the boneless wings. Big mistake. I usually prefer a little breading with my chicken, not a little chicken with my breading. Plus they were cold.I was going to send it back, which for me is unheard of, l rarely do that. They have a variety of sauces and dry rubs, ranging from mild to very spicy. I pretty much always thing the wings are fried well but they don't always toss them with the flavoring well, leaving some wings barely touched and others drowning. If you like fried foods, you have plenty of options. If anyone in your group needs a little lighter fare (like, for health reasons?) you're pretty SOL. Every time we order take out something is always incredibly wrong or missing on top of an incredibly long wait time. As I write this review I went to pick up our online order which was done 15 minutes late which isn't abnormal for Bdubs in Mount Vernon. The major problem was got it home to find almost half the order missing and what we did have was wrong and cold. Drove back and had to wait 35 more minutes for the order to be corrected. read more

The only reason this review gets a second start is because the food is really good. I am a manager at a local business. We tried to order lunch together: there were separate orders and the agent on the phone and manager refused to take multiple cards over the phone or in person . We are a business establishment trying to do a multi-order so we could all enjoy lunch together, however, now we have to make other arrangements due to the lack of good customer service. The reason stated is that we couldn't use multiple cards because it could be a fraudulent transaction, however, this doesn't make any sense. A person who was trying to use a fraudulent card would not make separate orders; they would make one order and be as natural as possible. Moreover, a person who stole cards would likely not bring in multiples at the same time. This has turned off many employees here to even wanting to order from here anymore as a group or individually. read more

Tried to get waiters attention, they just looked at us and walked away. Second time had a long wait again and ordered 6 boneless wings. Two of them were smaller then a bother cap. Tonight tried for last time. Took forever to get meal only 5 tables being used. Had an email if we ordered $10.00 or more we could get 6 wings free. Waiter said he had to ask manager. She never came. The waitress that brought meal had to ask manager. She did show up and made thing's right until bill came and charged for the free one. Had this corrected, but waitress said to sign bill and it would work out. The bill was the original one. Ended up talking to manager again.
