Dear B dubs , I have given you so many chances but this will be my last. I love the sauces (the hotter the better) and cold beer is always a plus!! But every time I come to one of your establishments and get sub par service , I think it will be better next time...... and it's not. On this Friday evening I walked into your Hoffman estates location around 9:15-9:30 pm and saw an empty bar and less than half full restaurant. I thought for sure because it was "slower " I would get fresh , hot wings..... not the case at all. I ordered and waited , and waited in an empty bar so I thought for sure my food would be fresh and hot. I got an order of chicken that was ice cold, and actually cubed in shape ? Upon me sending them back , I conversed with the only other guest at the bar top , and he had also sent his wings back ?? At this point I should have gotten up and walked out , but having worked on the restaurant industry for over 20 years , I thought I'd give them a chance to redeem themselves. I got apologies from the bartender and someone whom I am assuming was a manager and they both stated they had been sorry for what was served. In all fairness , the replacement order was hot (temperature wise) and much better flavor and texture wise. My question, if you have management , "chefs" , food runners and/ or expos even looking at the food you would have known not to serve what I had gotten the first time around. To corporate or whomever the higher -ups may be , the bartender was great but whoever "cooked" and "plated" food on this evening from like 9pm - 10 pm should be fired! They offered to comp all of my food , which was awesome but it should have not made it out to me in the first place. Buffalo Wild Wings , I try to give you second , third and at this point 150th chances but you have failed . Let me be clear , not just here but the Skokie Illinois location , Nile's crossing location and a few others but all have failed miserably. On this evening 12/08/23 at 10:13 pm you have officially lost a customer. I will tell everyone I encounter to not wast their time, money or an ounce of breath with coming into your establishments. The musky smell as we walked in at midnight was a turn off and I wanted to leave except that my husband was starving . The place was pretty packed at the odd hour , our server was very nice she took our order and bought out the food pretty quick. This place is an absolute joke...a definite reflection of careless ignorant management. Yes, it is important to social distance. However, why would anyone with even reasonable intelligence close an entire section for "takeout waiting". At the time of this posting there are exactly 0 people there in the last 25min. I also find it strange that there are as many screens with the Packers-Vikings game on as the Bears-Lions. I now understand the consistently low ratings...this place should have stayed close. I've been coming to this restaurant since it opened. Reason I'm posting a negative review Is due to the poor service, the food was served cold, received only half of the order and 15mins later the other half only after finding a different server and asked her to find ours, then she re-appeared but showed no immediate concern, she was very forgetful during the entire visit. The restaurant was not busy there is no excuse. I was served by the same person on my last two visits. Also during my stay she was having a conversation with another co-worker in which she said " no-s*it " audibly enough to be heard over the TV's ( I had children with me ) she realized we heard her and lipped " sorry " and covered her mouth. Needless to say she knew she had a bad survey coming so at the time we paid the check, she crumpled up the receipt with the survey code on it and never gave it back. If management wants feedback here it is, I don't want anything for free, Just step it up and train your staff accordingly. You are at a prime location and aren't that busy anymore. I've been to this location at least once or twice a year for the past 7 years for dinner when my in-laws want BWW. The wait for a table is always obnoxiously long on a Saturday/Sunday unless you find an open table at a bar area (usually no wait) and great view of all the UFC / Boxing fights on TV. The wings are pretty consistent -- lukewarm, overcooked, and over-drenched in sauce. I wish the wings were served as soon as they're finished instead of waiting until all the other orders are complete. The basket of fried potato wedges are perfect every time -- crisp on the outside, hot, soft potato inside, and well seasoned. Desserts are always too sweet here -- it's better to go to a Korean dessert spot nearby. Beer selection could be better... it seems like they're always out of something on draft that my guests would like to order. Service is generally acceptable here. But last weekend, our server, Michael, at the bar table area, was fantastic and gave us a 5 star super service! read more

I try and give this bdubs the benefit of the doubt regularly because it's the closest to home however I have about had it with their service and quality...the staff for pick up are very rude and slow. The quality of food for what I'm paying is nonexistent. I had dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings and had a fine meal. If you've been to one B-Dubs then you've been to them all, because they are all nearly identical. We sat in the bar area, where it is much more lively, and had a quick dinner before catching a show. The food was just as you'd expect from BWW - it came out warm, not hot, and tasted good. However, the wings were slightly over-sauced. Which is the thing that tends to annoy me about BWW... they cannot seem to get the goldilocks zone of hot, fresh wings that are perfectly sauced. They are either cold or luke-warm and are either nearly completely lacking sauce or are just drowned in it. Anyway, our waitress was average and thus our entire meal was as described above: "fine." Very disappointed. My fiancé and I are huge fans of bdubs. Normally we get fast service, fresh food, and have a good time. This was our first time at this location in over a year, and we are upset about the negative changes at this establishment. First off, they had a limited menu, but we were okay with it since we usually only get wings anyway. Well to our disappointment, the wings took a very long time. Our friends got served first since they only ordered something small. But our fried pickles and wings took forever. They were pretty much done eating before we got out meal. The last 3 times we had the worst service! We love Buffalo Wild Wings so we kept trying. The first time it took over an hour for wings and kids mac & cheese. When food came it was cold and our child Mac & cheese had hot sauce in it. Our child is terrified he will have spicy Mac & cheese every time. Lets be honest. Wing joint Should be simple and easy. Didn't even get that far this time. Sat down in the bar. Tables all over clutiered with junk. Employees standing around. Bartender serving the table by us beers and shots not problem. After 10 minutes of no contact or service my wife says hi to the bartender as she passes by. Bartender response with "it will be atleast 10 minutes Until I can get to you."..... It 3 in the afternoon with only a few tables staff standing around and the place looked like a shit show. In most ways this is a typical BWW. I've only been there for weekday Lunch, so it has never been crowded. This past Wednesday some friends and I met for an extended lunch (~4 hrs) and we had a the best server - a middle aged guy who knows his job cold, and kept our drinks refilled. The lunch fare here (on the lunch specials menu) is a subset of the main menu, with some very good pricing. The Buffalo Hot Chicken Tenders and potato wedges (tossed in Lemon Pepper dry seasoning) were both excellent. My friend's salad looked great as did the other's sandwich/salad combo. The only outlier is that they charge almost $4 for soft drinks! Perhaps that's to encourage beer sales? read more

If I could give it 0 stars I would. My server came over to the table to "greet" myself and 4 others. She asked us individually for what we would like to drink, After she would ask us for our drink she would go one by one to the register ring it in and then come back and do it again. She did the same for the food and the appetizers. I asked for ranch and silverware with my wings it NEVER came. I asked for a refill on my water it NEVER came. To be respectful about this the server smelled so putrid that I had to get up and leave to use the bathroom for about 10 minutes. She didn't even tell us her name to begin with. She came up to us and stood weirdly close and tap us on the shoulder and tapped on the menu. She didn't ever use her words. Just stared awkwardly. My wings came out crazy cold couldn't even eat it. All of our food came out 5-10 minutes apart. It absolutely ruined my weekend. I have no idea who hired this server but she is laughable. It was a bad experience. We had to wait 15 minutes for our table. The guy was very nice in the front. However we saw empty tables and people waiting for them... im not sure why that was. Imposdibly not enough staff? It all started with us ordering our food and 25 minutes later our server told us that our order was brought to another table. Not an "I'm sorry for the inconvenience" or anything. She was blunt. Had no sympathy. She just said that it got brought to another table and that they had to have it do it again. After we waited for another 30 minutes we got our food and we see our wings coated in sauce. When ordering my fiancée asked if the wings would be mild and she said yes. The wings were not mild at all but spicy. We did not request any sauce on it but on the side, yet the wings were coated. When the server happened to by our table my fiancée asked if these wings were mild. With a blunt attitude she says that it's based on tastebuds. At this point I'm in disbelief. I have ordered wings all the time and they have never been coated in any sauce. Towards the end of our meal our drinks were running low and no server was around. Our server happened to be behind the bar and my fiancée went by and asked if he could get a refill... once again with a blunt attitude she says: "I'll bring it to you". There was 10+ tables dirty for the 15 minutes we sat and waited without service, overflowing garbage cans, and the floor was filled with food. Just gross. Everyone working is in a terrible mood and while we waited no one was cleaning the dirty tables that were taking up half the restaurant. If the floors and tables are this dirty I wouldn't want to know what the kitchen looks like. Never again. We used to order the Tuesday wing special (but one get one free) for carry out, as we have a young toddler at home and goi g out is very difficult for us. We called today to place an order only to be told they no longer offer this deal for carry out orders. While I understand they may be losing some revenue by allowing carry out by not having dine-in customers order drinks and such, I'm sure they are losing even more business by no longer doing carry out. If this BW3 was downtown Chicago I'd understand fully but being in the suburbs, they're probably losing more business this way. I'm sure there are several other families with young ones where going out to eat is too much of a chore than bringing food home. This location is alright. We used to go all the time when they had bingo. I mean its free and they had decent prizes, plus the bartender knew us after coming so often that she took great care of us and was always awesome. It sucks because they got rid of bingo and since they cancelled it I don't remember the last time we went. Something about no live entertainment with the new buy out or something. I don't know the specifics. When we didn't sit at the bar/in the bar area the service wasn't the best. There were only two or three bartenders/waitresses that were really attentive, otherwise service was slow. Never really had a problem with the food, was always the same tasting.
