    Triple bacon cheeseburger
    George K.

It had been a few years since I've visited this Buffalo Wild Wings location. I went for a very early dinner and was seated promptly. The booth we sat in was clean, but I did notice a lot of dirt and scraps on the floor throughout the restaurant. We placed our orders and it was a fairly long wait to get our food. I got the triple bacon cheeseburger, which was fairly tasty. The beef was juicy and well seasoned. Part of the bacon was nice and crispy but the other end was fairly chewy. The other toppings were fresh. Overall pretty enjoyable. It came with a hefty side of fries, however they had no salt or seasoning. They were crispy and had a great texture. There is, however, salt and pepper available at the tables to adjust the seasoning to your liking. The onion rings were alright, but could have been better if they were crispier. I did try some of my wife's potato wedges and they were definitely seasoned better than the fries, but they had a very bitter and unpleasant aftertaste. The experience was not the best and I think I'd prefer to go to a different location in the future instead.

First time at this location--visiting Gurnee, IL for my daughter's wedding this weekend. She and her fiancee were having a hankering for BWW, so we went around 8 pm. Twenty minute wait was fine with us, gave our # to the hostess and got a text when the table was ready. Choosing drinks and apps was easy, we all love fried pickles and daughter suggested the buffalo tots. Apps came out while we all picked entrees, this part was less simple. In the end three of us tried new items (she two of the new *dawgs*, one buffalo, one loaded; her fiancee the buffalo flatbread pizza, me a buffalo *dawg*) and the boyfriend went with 15 wings, 5 each of 3 sauces (Asian Zing, Hot and Jammin Jalapeno) and fries. We thoroughly enjoyed everything, the kids took some fries and flatbread pizza to go and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. If we lived nearby we would absolutely return!

I arrived at around 8:45 on a Saturday night and the place was virtually empty. I was so surprised! The bartender told me that they were crowded around dinner time, when the Great America crowd came in. This Buffalo Wild Wings location was super clean, as they all are. The bartender was super friendly and professional, again, as they all are. I was very happy the bartender was able to pour me a nice Redemption Rye on the rocks and my buffalo wings and salad came out very quickly. It seems like the side salad has grown a bit, and it was very satisfying. A fairly traditional leaf lettuce salad with tomato, chives, and shredded cheese. The wings were, as always, good. Although the desert heat dry rub was not nearly as hot as I hope. But that was okay because they were still good. Enjoy the Cubs game, a little peace and quiet in an empty restaurant, and great food.

I waited 30 minutes until a server came, and I just decided to leave because they were taking so long. This is horrible.

Booner's Place is better than it looks when entering. Kind of divey but cleaner inside. The prices are pretty cheap mostly. Basic looking bar. It's actually bigger than it appears from the outside. There's enough room for big groups and parties. Has basically just lots of drinks. There's some beers on tap and lots more in bottles and cans, so great variety. It's about $6 for a basic cocktail. There's a pretty okay choice of liquors. Has no food menu basically. They may have those frozen pizzas. For sure it's better than expected. It's located on Washington Street at Jefferson. This is mostly chill except when there's games or music on they have a few times.

Tried this place on the suggestion of friends who were meeting there to hear a band…read more I was prepared for the worst based on the outside- but it probably was one of the BEST entertainment experiences I have had in some time. Here are some of the highlights. - The neighborhood is in transition but not a real problem. - Lots of parking, it's OK to park in the school lot across the street. - NO COVER CHARGE for a well-known blues band popular in the greater Chicagoland area performing on a weekend. Unheard of. - The female bartenders are HOT HOT HOT and they had very sexy and cute uniforms. Each one smiled a lot and took care of drink orders QUICK. They were even nice when my guest switched to drinking water later in the evening. - Drink prices were about what you'd pay for a place with no entertainment, but with the benefit of entertainment! - Not too crowded, a nice crowd for a Saturday night. - Classy decoration inside the bar and comfortable seating. - Diverse crowd from 20-somethings to over 40's. Seemed like lots of singles and by and large friendly mid to upscale people. I didn't observe a SINGLE negative about this place (OK - the band stand could be elevated a bit so people could see them better) and I would be happy to go back again sometime when they have a band or maybe just show up to watch a game. It's obvious by the attitude of the employees that management knows how to best treat customers and have people leave with a positive memory of their night out. Trust me- don't be intimidated by the rough exterior, give them a try and judge for yourself.

From going to corporate events and hanging out with friends, I've gone to Yard House a good amount…read moreand always enjoyed the food, but never found it to be super special. My food experience at this location was a bit better than other locations I've tried and makes me excited to come back to try more items. Like other locations, there is plenty of parking and interior resembles a more upscale sports bar. Service is relatively quick despite how busy they are and prices are pretty fair for the quality of food. I started my meal off with Poke Nachos, one of four that I've had in the last few months and this was possibly the best of the bunch. This had a good amount of raw ahi tuna (though a few more chunks would be nice) and added some additional flavors through nori and sesame seeds so that it was a bit less sauce dependent than other versions I've tried. The wontons were super crispy and avocado was nice and creamy. The mix of serranos, white truffle sauce, sweet soy ginger sauce, sriracha aioli, cilantro, and green onions all mixed together to create a great flavor. I was very impressed with the amount of flavor packed into a dish that's only 880 calories. The crispy traditional wings were also cooked nicely, the skin was nice and crispy while the meat was not overcooked. The buffalo sauce was a bit light for me, though good if you aren't looking for something that's too tangy or spicy. The Korean chili garlic had the right level of sweetness mixed with a good amount of garlic flavor and a light level of spiciness. This is one of the better preparations I've had outside of Korean Fried Chicken specialist restaurants. For entrees the Ahi Tuna Crunchy salad is one of the better versions of this dish that I've had as well. The field greens, broccoli slaw, and crispy wontons were a nice base with the soy vinaigrette -- but the star of the dish was the seared rare and blackened ahi tuna. Super flavorful and prepared just right, this was better than the steak I had eaten for lunch and again a very healthy way to pack a lot of flavor into a low number of calories. On the flipside, the kurobata pork sandwich was one of the best sandwiches I've had so far this year. The berkshire pork isn't super fatty, but just enough to have a great level of tenderness and flavor when grilled. The candied bacon, white american cheese, and house-made blueberry ketchup did a fantastic job of adding some saltiness and just a bit of extra fat (without seeming excessive) and giving the dish just a little acid. The total combination worked perfectly in harmony and is worth making a special trip to eat again. I ended the meal with the S'more brownie meltdown. This was done well -- with a nice fudge brownie that had great chocolate flavor and matched perfectly with the graham cracker toffee. This would've been the highlight of the dish, had it not been for the delicious combination of the marshmallow gelato and dark chocolate sauce. I'm not a giant fan of marshmallows, but this gelato was amazing and tied everything together perfectly. Overall, an unexpectedly great experience from a restaurant chain that I've gone to many times. Without a doubt, I know which location to take my friends and family to for special meals in the future.

We went for happy hour and enjoyed very big portions of appetizers! Can't miss their fried cheese curds, those are outstanding! We also tried the brussel sprouts appetizer- not bad but a little greasy. We also tried a pizza that was ok Unfortunately I missed the pics from the appetizers. Next time !!
