This review is specifically for take out. This location is in Gurnee mills just outside of the Marshalls and home goods. We've ordered take out from here numerous times. The parking lot has a few food take out parking spots so that allows for ease to pick up and leave because we all know the mall can be quick brutal when it comes to busy nights. Our orders are always right but the hit or miss is if our food is hot or cold. We've gotten wings that have sat in the window and have dried out with piping hot wedges. Or we've gotten someone else's order in our bag completely and we would've gotten home to notice it and can't go out again. Just be sure to check your order before you leave, it is a national brand, so you know what you're getting from any location. Also, they have great deals on their app that they don't advertise in the restaurant! All in all, bdubs is our go to for many of our football Sunday's. read more

I was attended to promptly. I placed my order of six Mango Habañero wings and six Original Buffalo Sauce wings along with one order of carrots and celery sticks and one blue cheese and ranch, each. It had been a few years since I've visited this Buffalo Wild Wings location. I went for a very early dinner and was seated promptly. The booth we sat in was clean, but I did notice a lot of dirt and scraps on the floor throughout the restaurant. We placed our orders and it was a fairly long wait to get our food. I got the triple bacon cheeseburger, which was fairly tasty. The beef was juicy and well seasoned. Part of the bacon was nice and crispy but the other end was fairly chewy. The other toppings were fresh. Overall pretty enjoyable. It came with a hefty side of fries, however they had no salt or seasoning. They were crispy and had a great texture. There is, however, salt and pepper available at the tables to adjust the seasoning to your liking. The onion rings were alright, but could have been better if they were crispier. I did try some of my wife's potato wedges and they were definitely seasoned better than the fries, but they had a very bitter and unpleasant aftertaste. The experience was not the best and I think I'd prefer to go to a different location in the future instead. read more

I asked for a drink modificatjon and she gave me the drink without a modification, then tried to charge me for the drink that I turned away. My buddy and I stopped in to this B-Dubs earlier this year because we were spending the day in the Gurnee area and were pleased to find that one of our favorite spots was in town. We are frequent goers of the Randhurst location, but have been others and found the quality to be fairly consistent. Unfortunately, lady luck was not with us on this occasion. We had a slight wait to start with, which was initially a bit odd considering it was a Tuesday night, although in hindsightit was likely realted to the area being a huge shopping district. The wait was not as worth it as we had hoped. I ordered root beer to drink, only to find out a few minutes later that they we sold out. While on this topic, I'd like to mention that I don't understand why BWW only has bottled root beer instead of fountain like the rest of their sodas. When we got our drinks , they had to use to-go cups because they didn't have any clean glasses. My friends Starry was way short on flavor syrup, and my Pepsi was only slightly better in that regard. We had planned on a full meal, but decided to just get a couple apps to be done sooner. They were out of mozz sticks () , so I went for cheese curds instead, and my guy got his usual order of fried pickles. Not much to home with for the curds, as the flavor could only be described as mid. My friend seemed dissatisfied with his pickles as they were overcooked and bland. It was at this point he straight up told me we weren't coming back. I love B-dubs dearly, but this location missed the mark this time around. We came in on a Tuesday night to order takeout and what we thought would be a 5 to 10 minute wait ended up being 40+ minutes. The guy at the counter was polite and took our order promptly but said it would take it would "be ready in a few minutes". Nothing came out for about 15 to 20 minutes at all. Eventually, a bunch of orders started coming out but none of them were ours. There were no updates to the people who had been waiting. Finally, I asked the guy at the counter about the status of our order and within five minutes it came out. The restaurant was about 75% full because it was Veterans Day, so clearly they were busy. The staff was nice, but the restaurant was not managed very well, the tables weren't cleared, and there was a ton of trash on the floor.The food tasted pretty good once we got it, but the overall experience was very frustrating. read more

Worst experience ever! Went to Gurnee location at 6.30pm on Friday 5/22/2025 with my son, Restaurant at about 30% capacity. Ordered sauced wings, an appetizer, a Pepsi and a pineapple mojito. After 20 minutes we get the appetizer, no Pepsi or mojito, no napkins. 10 minutes later we get the wings, all dry and hardly any sauce. Asked for manager, they took the food to remake. I asked manager if restaurant be fuller, would drink orders take 3-4 hours, manager agreed "yes, probably 4 hour". Then wings come back with a heaping of sauce over the top, gross. Still no napkins. Not the server nor the manager ever returned to ask if we're satisfied now. If you crave Buffalo Wild Wings, order out or find another place, no one at this place cares about their customers, the manager should never agree that his restaurant and service sucks. First time at this location--visiting Gurnee, IL for my daughter's wedding this weekend. She and her fiancee were having a hankering for BWW, so we went around 8 pm. Twenty minute wait was fine with us, gave our # to the hostess and got a text when the table was ready. Choosing drinks and apps was easy, we all love fried pickles and daughter suggested the buffalo tots. Apps came out while we all picked entrees, this part was less simple. In the end three of us tried new items (she two of the new *dawgs*, one buffalo, one loaded; her fiancee the buffalo flatbread pizza, me a buffalo *dawg*) and the boyfriend went with 15 wings, 5 each of 3 sauces (Asian Zing, Hot and Jammin Jalapeno) and fries. We thoroughly enjoyed everything, the kids took some fries and flatbread pizza to go and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. If we lived nearby we would absolutely return! read more

I arrived at around 8:45 on a Saturday night and the place was virtually empty. I was so surprised! The bartender told me that they were crowded around dinner time, when the Great America crowd came in. This Buffalo Wild Wings location was super clean, as they all are. The bartender was super friendly and professional, again, as they all are. I was very happy the bartender was able to pour me a nice Redemption Rye on the rocks and my buffalo wings and salad came out very quickly. It seems like the side salad has grown a bit, and it was very satisfying. A fairly traditional leaf lettuce salad with tomato, chives, and shredded cheese. The wings were, as always, good. Although the desert heat dry rub was not nearly as hot as I hope. But that was okay because they were still good. Enjoy the Cubs game, a little peace and quiet in an empty restaurant, and great food. read more

I rarely get "good" service at the Gurnee location but when I sit at a bar, I want to get a drink. I sat at the bar for 20 minutes (at least) and did not even get asked to order. 6 workers stood in a corner talking while the bar guy took care of the rest of the restaurant (not that busy at 5pm on a Friday). Might have been a shift change but after 15 or so mins the guy finally said someone would be with us and still continued to get overlooked by every single worker that walked by us, even the manager who clearly had a earpiece in and I obviously was ready to order. WAITIN' FOR THE BUS(BOY) Interminable waits and horrendously messy tables made for a lousy Black Friday dine-in experience. Following a showing of Wreck-It Ralph 2 at the nearby Marcus Cinema, my girlfriend had a craving for chicken wings. She'd never been to a B-Dubs before, and even though the ratings for this Gurnee location were in the sh*tter, I conceded. We had to push our way past a large crowd milling near the entrance and found a hightop in the bar area. Right away, I noticed how FILTHY the tables around us were. Many hadn't been bussed and employees made scant attempts to clear them. After a 15-20 minute wait, a server finally came over and asked us if we'd been helped yet (we hadn't). No less than 3 minutes later, another server came over and said the same thing. Uhhh.....don't you guys have "zones"? And why on earth did it take so freaking long to greet us?? Our order for classic wings, boneless wings, fried pickles, and a couple beers went in. Everything including the $5 pitcher took far longer than usual to arrive at our table. Her wings emerged 'extra wet' (i.e. bathing in sauce), which she definitely didn't ask for. Mine were under-sauced. The staff seemed to be overwhelmed by mass confusion and, more than likely, a shift's worth of insane Black Friday families. I get that they probably pulled long hours and this was the tail end of an exhausting day, but you work in the service industry and gotta at least fake some smiles. Bread = 2.5 Circuses = 0 As we left, one of the tables near us still hadn't been touched. It was covered in dirty dishes, drink spills, napkins, and had been that way for more than an hour. That's a pretty clear indicator of how things were run here on 11/23/18 -- poorly. * TL;DR * I don't know if it was due to understaffing or general apathy (which is a chronic problem at the Berwyn B-Dubs), but this place was downright ratchet. Having to wait more than a QUARTER HOUR before getting a 'hello' or even a 'be right with you', that's really frustrating. 'Tis a rare occasion indeed when I award a big fat goose egg for 'circuses', which essentially boils down to service + atmosphere. On this visit, both were atrocious like I'd never encountered before. The prevalence of un-bussed tables was appalling, the lengthy delays unprofessional. Some Buffalo Wild Wings are better than others. Consider this in the latter category of 'others': mismanaged tables, inaccurate orders, and being largely ignored. If you're reading this and are considering dining here, I'd strongly advise you to steer clear. Make the extra effort and drive to Waukegan or literally any other location -- cuz let's face it, they can't possibly be any worse than these chicken f*ckers. read more

If you want wings, from b-dubs, go to the other one in Waukegan. Service was slow, didn't get met with a waiter until we sat down for about 15 minuets, then waited 45 minutes for food. It wasn't crowded so we were very confused how 2 10 order boneless wings can take so long. Also why is a side of blue cheese that was barely full a dollar and 50 cents. Starting off with "what a nightmare". First they were not busy at all. We were a group of 5 who waited about 5-7 minutes to be seated ( yes, there was a sign "to be seated"). The same lady that took us to our table passed by us several times, looked at us and walked away. At this point I was ready to give up and head to a different restaurant. My buddies decided to give them a shot. After finally being seated, the server was quick to take our drink orders but it took 10 minutes to get to our table. We waited 20 mins and asked several times how our order was going. She kept saying it will be out soon. Finally we caved in and asked to only get our bill for drinks and cancel our food order. The server asked if there was something wrong. We explained for a place that is not busy it is taking over 30 mins for food to arrive. We ordered about 20 wings different sauces, fries and nacho tray. A decent order for 5 of us. The manager tried to get us to stay and offered us another round and explained that our order never made it to the kitchen. My wife liked her spicy chicken sandwich but the rest of us did not and did not take any of our considerable left overs home. Also, all the food came out out at different times.
