The place was packed for a weekday, but our wait time was less than 10 minutes. The restaurant is pretty spacious and there is also a waiting area. I got the spicy margarita. It wasn't too spicy and a balance amount of alcohol. All the appetizers were pretty solid. Nothing unique. Just good fried food with tasty dipping sauce. My prime rib was cooked preferably medium rare. I liked that there wasn't a lot of excess fat. The meat was super tender. Overall, we would come back.

I just love me some Texas Roadhouse. Came here to celebrate my birthday with the family. I love how you can get a nice sized ribeye with some shrimp, and 2 sides all for about $30. Perfect place to take your family for a nice meal that won't break the bank. The ribeye I got was a nice sized portion and cooked deliciously. I love love love the baked sweet potato - make sure you get the loaded version!! And the dinner rolls are to die for. Make sure you eat them while it's hot and fresh and with that delicious butter spread that comes with it! The servers even came by and celebrated my birthday with a saddle that they made me ride lol. The whole place is very friendly, very chill and laid back. The restaurant overall is a great vibe and family friendly.

This location is fairly new and I've never been to Texas Roadhouse before and decided to see what the hype is all about. To be expected, it was super packed. Even with that the wait time was only about 20-30 minutes, so we didn't have to wait long. We were seated before the estimated wait time which was nice. Even though the restaurant was packed, it seemed clean and well put together. We were seated and I got to try the infamous dinner rolls with the cinnamon butter, and it was worth all the hype. Warm buttery rolls helped the cinnamon butter melt and together they were delightful. Our waiter was nice and offered his opinion on the cocktails, which was nice. For my cocktail, I got the Jamaican cowboy but asked for it slushed, and it was really good! It came in a decent size, but I was so tempted to order another! For my meal I ordered a half rack of ribs, loaded baked potato and corn. Everything was great besides the corn, I've never had bland corn but this corn missed the mark on flavor. No big deal though because I enjoyed everything else! My son ordered the kids meal mini burger sliders with fries and apple juice. He really enjoyed his meal, I snagged a fry and I have to say that fry was one of the best fries I've had at a restaurant to date! I'm happy I finally got to try Texas roadhouse and look forward to coming back soon!

Texas Roadhouse never disappoints when it comes to hearty, flavorful meals. I ordered the 16oz sirloin steak cooked perfectly to my liking, it was juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. Adding a little A1 sauce on top just took it over the edge. The mashed potatoes were creamy and smooth, and the house salad was fresh with a nice balance of toppings and dressing. And of course, the free bread and cinnamon butter are as amazing as ever. Definitely one of the highlights of eating here! The service was great, friendly, and attentive. The only hiccup was that we were given two dirty plates. Overall, good experience, good food, and good vibes.

I've been here a so many times and I've enjoyed every experience except for this last time. We were there for my daughter's b-day which made it special but the waitress never noticed despite my daughter wearing a b-day crown and sache and had to ask for the traditional b-day horse saddle at the very end of our dining. The service was bad as I didn't receive 2 items which I mentioned and the waitress tried giving it to us after we were leaving. I was so angry I didn't even notice until the next day on my email receipt that she put items from the table next to us on my bill. My bill is usually under $100 for 4 but this time it was $160 which i should have noticed but at that point I just wanted to leave. Thank you to the waitress that made my daughter's and our night a $#!@ show off a night. I even got charged for alcohol and neither me or my wife drinks and definitely not my under 10yr old kids.

Caked on BBQ sauce with other dirty dishes.

The service wasn't bad, but I feel the staff weren't very well trained to handle a large number of people at once. The food was ok.

Food poisoning. Something was up there. Good service but don't trust the buttered corn side.

The restaurant is so much bigger and livelier and were so excited to see all of their success. Definitely come early to be able to try their brisket and Tony Mac! You wont regret anything you try but those are defnitely our favorites. Oh and the ribs, if you're looking for the incredible smokey juicy flavor look no further. Any of their bbq sauces are great and pair well, but we highly recommend giving their original a go because of the perfect balance of sweet, savory, with a bit of a kick.

Our waitress came quick enough to get our order, it's just that the food took a while. Maybe the side with counter walk-up is quicker. I ended up getting the catfish sandwich with fries and of course tried all the bbq sauces with the fries. The catfish was fried perfectly and the seasoning on the outside was quite tasty. Made for a very good sandwich. The fries were a little soggier/more oily than I would like, but I did use them to try the sauces. None of them were overly spicy, just a good flavor. I think my favorite was the Memphis which had a nice smokiness to it. For dessert I did end up ordering the key lime pie and was very happy with it. Tangy and refreshing! I somehow managed to save some for the next day and it was just as good. Overall, the food was good and the staff was friendly, it just took a while to get the food. There was a lot of to go business, so that's maybe the best way to order.

A Great New Addition to Gurnee--Beef, Shakes, and Rainbow Ice Cream!…read moreI dropped by the brand-new Buona Beef in Gurnee to grab dinner to go! It's located on the west side of town, safely away from the craziest of the mall traffic. Just a quick heads-up on navigation: if you're heading east, finding the entrance can be a little tricky. You have to turn left at N. Hutchins Road and spot the side road tucked behind the tall swamp grass! Inside, the restaurant is beautifully clean. It took about 10 minutes to prep my order, which included two Italian beef sandwiches, a side of potato salad, a Caesar salad (both prepackaged), and an order of their arancini beef bites. You get three to an order, and while they taste good, they completely fall apart the second you take a bite, so be careful! I actually watched a video on their history and learned they use a commissary kitchen to ensure the flavor stays consistent across all locations, which makes sense. It's a solid, reliable local chain and a really nice alternative to the usual burger or chicken franchises. As a massive bonus, there is a Rainbow Cone ice cream parlor right inside the building! Our office actually had their truck visit us before, so we already knew how good it is. I couldn't resist bringing home a gallon of the rainbow ice cream, a slice of cake, and the four sugar cones they pack up for you to scoop at home. I even signed up for their rewards program. With a huge menu that covers everything from beef and burgers to fresh salads, it's a great, handy new spot to have in the area! BTW, service was a little slow. Maybe they are still training?
