This is a great restaurant. I used to live in Michigan and went to the 1st Wings, Etc in Mishawauka, IN. I told the owner, Jim that he should franchise the restaurant. Was in Kenosha area for couple weeks for training, found this place 20min from us and decided to make the trip over. The the GM was tending the place and was fantastic other than she burnt our mouths off w a sample of the "wing challenge" sauce. The wings were par cooked "double fried" wich imo is the only way to do it. Somehow this wings are still big. Witch is hard to get when par-cooking. Went with the fam, group of 8. We ordered burgers, fish, salads, ribs, and wings. Everyone was satisfied with their meals. Waitress was fantastic and patient. We needed a lot of attention. Our food came and we received one item incorrectly. We were a very large table and it seemed like the bartender was our server. While he was busy, we waited until we could finally flag down a waitress and let them know we would like the correct item. She seemed bothered we asked and then brought back the correct wings minus exactly the amount of wings my brother ate while waiting to finally flag her down. This was our first time at Wings Etc (girlfriend and family) Upon entering Wings etc. There was not a hostess present so naturally we assumed we should seat ourselves. After sitting we were immediately greeted by our waitress Shannon. Shannon made sure we got out appetizers, drinks and food on time. She continued checking our table to see if anything else was needed at various times. Good start I like it already! For starters we went on monday for their 0.50 cent wings. We placed an order of half Parmesian Garlic and half hot wings. Both were some of the best wings hands down. Within the first bite you had a slight crunch on the skin and the sauces were perfectly glazed over every wing. These wings tasted fresh! The enviorment is fun and is split down the middle with one side the bar and the other side family seating. The food and experience was good. I came here with my boyfriend on a late Saturday night to fulfill that 11pm munchies. Coming from out of the town, I was not familiar with the local food scene, but their menu looked promising. This place is located in a strip mall, looks can be deceiving from the outside, but inside is a polished and well lit family friendly sport bar. Service was quick and attentive for being so late at night. We picked our seat at a high table near the bar and ordered the green bean fries (local fav) and spinach artichoke dip that came with tortilla chips. The green bean fries surpassed my expectations for a sport bar, it was not greasy at all. The green beans were crisp and fresh and complemented the southwest ranch dip. It's no Wing Stop, but don't let that stop you. The wings are crispy just like WS. The lime pepper was flavourful though next time I'll ask for extra rub, it was just too light handed to me. The Buffalo (medium) was very good and not saturated in sauce, I could actually taste the chicken! My least favorite was the gar-licy-parm. Very good flavor and lots of sauce, but just not my cup of tea. Before that we got the half order of tater tots. Omg. Y'all. HUGE portion and they were so crisp. First time here and not overly impressed. We ordered some of their mild and bbq wings with fries and it was not what I expected, the mild had some type of watery buttery sauce that had absolutely no flavor the bbq wings looked like they were hand dipped in sauce but only covered some of the wing. It's crispy chicken but the green lights made it look like the food was undercooked not a fan of the green lighting. The atmosphere was good there's plenty of tv's to watch and music playing in the background the service was also good. I am a huge fan of wings and a small fan of writing one star reviews. But, this is perhaps the most disgusting dining experience I had ever seen in my entire life. Dining in at Wings Etc. for the first time, I had high hopes that perhaps this place would be better than J's Sports Bar (Fox Lake, IL) and/or Buffalo Wild Wings -- Nope; not even close. When we sat down, we were immediately sat at a dirty booth. After telling our server, she apologized and went to get a wash cloth. She wiped down the table but with what? With a dirty dish rag that looked like it was used to clean the dishes before us. Ignoring what happened and not wanting to complain again, we went on with our dinner. We then ordered and was surprised at the cost of the wings. They were as expensive as Buffalo Wild Wings but J's Sports Bar $0.50 boneless wings are unbeatable. Waited 10-15 minutes for our food and no kidding, almost threw up when we got our food. Once we got our food, we noticed the wings were sitting and drowned in grease and liquid 'crud' (A PICTURE WILL BE UPLOADED OF THIS DISGUSTING GREASE THE WINGS HAVE BEEN SITTING IN). We immediately took the wings out of the basket and threw them onto a plate. We ate the wings, they were alright, sauces weren't good and they were tiny and dried up wings (so much for them being large/giant as advertised). We informed our waiter about the grease and she told us it is normal and all of the sauces are 80% butter-based. Whatever that means? She told us once they hit the plates, the sauces melt and make the grease - how much disgusting could you make this? So, to sum it up, I will never go to Wings Etc. ever again. I eat out a lot and this was perhaps the worst dining experience I have ever had in my entire life. To put it in a nice way, Wings Etc. was as if I was dining in a dumpster. I could go on and on about how disgusting it was but it isn't even worth my time (or your's). If you have read this entire review, you probably are interested in dining here..... don't. There are tons of other restaurants around that are 100 times better and I really mean that; no exaggeration. Stay away because for, 1) your stomach will thank you and 2) your wallet will thank you. I've never eaten in the restaurant, but we've done takeout 4 different times now. I think they're having some new-restaurant issues here as our order has been missing something 3 out of the 4 times. It's getting a bit old. I guess we'll just have to get better at triple-checking our own order if we're going to keep coming here since they can't seem to get it right. We really like the wings here which is why we've given them so many chances. We've tried a few of the sides and have been mostly disappointed. The loaded fries were just stuck together in a big clump and stuck to the paper they insist on putting everything in. The queso from the chips & queso was really thick and an odd color. Actually, it tasted more like the sauce from mac & cheese than like a queso dip. On our last order, we decided it was best to keep it simple, so we just opted for a full order of plain curly fries. They were fine, but it was a pretty small order considering they offer both full and half sizes. The half size must be only 3 or 4 fries. ETA: We have ordered wings again since my original review and we ordered the full-size curly fries again. This time, the order was exactly the size we'd expected the first time around. I have a feeling they accidentally gave us a half-size order the first time. Also - someone from the restaurant reached out to me after my review offering to replace my incorrect items for free next time we order or stop in. She also noted that they're actively working on (or have recently fixed) some of the items I noted (the paper in the carryout containers, mac & cheese-like queso sauce, etc.) i thought that was important to note here. read more

Server did not listen to special requests. It was my daughter's birthday and the server said she would get ice cream it never came. When i tried to ask about it she walked away because she was in such a hurry to get away from us. Let's just say that she walked one way and her tip walked the other. My daughter was looking forward to ice cream. Here's a tip to servers everywhere- be extra attentive to the kids! You can screw up my order but if you spoil my kids I promise you will get a great tip. Food is mediocre and way too expensive. Frozen fried food is what's on the menu here. Love this place and so glad they are finally in Antioch! The staff is extremely nice and the atmosphere on the bar side is outstanding. With 3 massive tv's above the bar you can get a great seat and watch all the live sporting events! Wings are good but they are dipped in different sauces versus cooked in them. Antioch is a small town filled with bars and pizza places. When Wings Etc. opened, it gave the town a great new food option. Wings' menu provides a nice selection typical pub food, and a variety of different type of burgers. In addition to the pub food, they serve some good appetizers, flatbread selections, and wraps. The wings are obviously the staple, and while I am not a die-hard wing fan, I was happy with the wings. The sauces are flavorful, while not overpowering, and the bone-in wings are much meatier than what you'd find a similar chain places (like BWW). The bar at Wings is nice and large, clean, and has plenty of choices of domestic, craft, and import beer. The beer on tap is fresh and chilled perfectly. The atmosphere at Wings is warm. It is a family place, and the service is very friendly. For those who might be deterred because they want to avoid bringing a family into a place with such a large bar, there is a nice partition to clearly separate the bar area from the restaurant area. The owners are friendly and can always be seen walking around checking on patrons to make sure they are having a good experience. read more
