Antioch is a small town filled with bars and pizza places. When Wings Etc. opened, it gave the town a great new food option. Wings' menu provides a nice selection typical pub food, and a variety of different type of burgers. In addition to the pub food, they serve some good appetizers, flatbread selections, and wraps. The wings are obviously the staple, and while I am not a die-hard wing fan, I was happy with the wings. The sauces are flavorful, while not overpowering, and the bone-in wings are much meatier than what you'd find a similar chain places (like BWW). The bar at Wings is nice and large, clean, and has plenty of choices of domestic, craft, and import beer. The beer on tap is fresh and chilled perfectly. The atmosphere at Wings is warm. It is a family place, and the service is very friendly. For those who might be deterred because they want to avoid bringing a family into a place with such a large bar, there is a nice partition to clearly separate the bar area from the restaurant area. The owners are friendly and can always be seen walking around checking on patrons to make sure they are having a good experience. read more

The wings are so big and meaty that they are like chicken leg drum sticks. The variety of sauces are such that anyone will be able to find their personal favorite. If you can't there's something wrong with you and you should just go see the colonel. The venue located in a strip mall next to a Piggly Wiggly grocery store and right next to an exercise place (which is sort of an oxymoron if you catch my drift) is hidden from the main drag and traffic patterns within Antioch. My advice take the time to find the place you will not be disappointed. Is the place trendy and cool looking on the inside? I grew up in Indiana where Wings Etc. was a place I would visit weekly. I was so happy when I moved here and found this hiding just off of Main St. It is nice to see that the same standards, flavors, and consistency this far away from the original location. This place is always packed. It's the perfect place to go grab some wings and watch a game. Plenty of huge big screen TV's and there isn't a bad seat in the house! Nice big long bar in addition to a dining area filled with nice long booths that seat 6-8. The wings are very good, as a matter of fact I prefer them over BW's. I have to say I am pretty impressed with their ownership. After writing my initial post I was immediately contacted by one of the owners. She asked for my phone number to call me and was EXTREMELY pleasant. You could tell that customer service is # 1 in her book which made my initial impression that much better since she said she will address the situation and make sure that all patrons are given the best possible care. It seemed that way based on the amount of people there during my first visit, so I think I might have just gotten a server having a bummer day. Great job ownership. read more

Wings were marginal at best. It was as if they baked the wings and poured hot sauce on top. The sauce looked up on the bottom of the container. I will not be back. On top of that with this being my first order the staff was rude. I ordered them called immediately to see if they had any deals since I placed a big order. We had a birthday party today for our grandson's 18th birthday. Our server was Karen and she was amazing. There was 18 of us and she didn't miss a step. The service was absolutely perfect. She kept all our drinks full at all times, took our food order and delivered the food exactly as ordered. She was very attentive and we couldn't have asked for better service. Thanks to the wonderful managers Ashley and Christ who we booked the party through and they couldn't have been more helpful. They let us come in early and decorate the party area and even helped as much as they could. I'd like to thank everyone involved for all the wonderful service and great food. Husband says give it a zero. He ordered fish and chips (potato tots). Probably the worst fish we've had and I had thought The Shanty was the worst. I had the fried shrimp which was ok but I ordered 10 and asked for an extra very small sauce (upcharged 69 cent). Drink special was 4$ margarita, supposedly made in house, not. Stopped by with my wife on the way home. We weren't expecting much. We were blown away. The wings were damned good (crispy and delicious), their tater tots were phenomenal, the service was perfect and the price was very reasonable ($27 for 2 with appetizer). It started out as a great dinner. The wife and I arrived to a "seat yourself sign" in which the only open table was one for a large family. So we embarrassedly sat down there. We were greeted promptly and orders and drinks were taken. Then it got bad. It took a long time to get the food. Once it arrived we didn't see one server again for the rest of the meal. I had to eventually ask the manager for the check. In that time our waitress took my card and didn't bring it back. Big confusion but all settled at the end. I'd go back but hopefully it won't take over 15 minutes to pay our bill. read more

I feel so lucky to have stumbled upon this gem - my roommates are I were craving wings last night but didn't want to drive far and didn't want to overpay at Buffalo Wild Wings for subpar wings again... They have a promotion for 49 cent wings through March 12th and it was such great food! We ordered the giant pulled pork nachos, which I wasn't a huge fan of. I don't think it's their fault, though - i'm just not a fan of BBQ sauce with my nachos. The wings I had were teriyaki and honey mustard and I was so happy with both of these flavors - they had enough sauce to coat the wings, and extra that pooled on the bottom so you could dip the chicken back into the sauce. My roommates got the hot wings and parmesan garlic wings... they said the hot wings were awesome but the parmesan ones were a little weird. Finally, our waitress was awesome, she kept bringing drink refills before we could ask for them, the food came super fast, and it was a pleasant experience. I can't wait to go back!! read more

I ordered wings for take out. When I got home I was disappointed with the amount of blue cheese they gave so I called to complain. The first person gave me to their manager (understandably) and the manager gave me to the owner, so by the third time I was explaining myself I was quite upset. The owner was very nice even though I was upset. That is as it should be but most people get upset right back at you, which I hate. It was very nice that he stayed polite and was even willing to deliver extra blue cheese at no cost. That goes a long way with me. When I ate the wings I was glad I ordered them. They were the best wings of any place I've gone. Delicious. A previous reviewer wrote the wings were drowned in sauce which is true but the were still crispy and very tasty. I would go back. I went last night and had a very good experience. A minute after my friend and I sat down we were greeted by our server Tori. She was very friendly and offered us drinks and the menu. My friend ordered the mini corn dogs as an appetizer and we both got wings as our entree. She also asked if he'd like them before or with the entree. The drinks and appetizer came quick, and we had enough time to decide on our order and didn't feel rushed. Felt very relaxed. We used to love this place as a great place to grab a beer and get some tasty bar food. However, really disappointed with some of the menu changes. In particular they no longer have the pretzel nuggets with beer cheese. Now they serve the pretzel nuggets with that cheap radioactive yellow cheese. Sounds like a minor complaint but that was our favorite menu item and it seems like they have made other similar cutting to save a few bucks at the expense of quality. Be cautious of your sauce slection for their wings. I bought the "TNT" wings going off of the menu where it said "buffalo style". Their hot wings weren't hot enough. So I opted for the next level. They ar covered in a weird chili powder like sauce. Definitely not buffalo style like they are advertised. The sauce was gross. And tasted like nasty black pepper. I've also had the parmesan garlic. Great Monday night football specials! 50 cent wings and their wings are mighty meaty. Beers selection is very good too. Service was pretty good and the wings were served in a timely manner. Took my family here cause I thought we would a new place to eat and the reviews on yelp had 4 stars. The waitress with the blue hair was very nice and gave good customer service. But while we are eating there was 2 other waitress cleaning around you spraying cleaners. My wife lost her appetite because of the cleaner smell. The 2 waitress knew we were already finish but just continued to clean, looking at us like we were not welcomed there. One of the waitress rolled there eyes. We waited for a while, then I had to stand up to be acknowledged. Then finally the older waitress or maybe the manager asked if we were done. Its a great addition to Antioch and the food is good! It is a little expensive other than the wings of course! Lots of tvs for sports. Only suggestion is the host is obviously a teenager and needs to smile and some of the waitress should not be aloud to wear their little hoochie shorts...trying to eat not throw up. My husband and I came here per recommendation on the first visit and this is our second visit. I don't have anything bad to say about this place there are lots of TVs everywhere for sports fans. The servers are attentive and quick. They really check on you make sure the food is good and the drinks are full. I had a burger this time it was juicy and well seasoned. My husband had the wings and he's really picky about those but he ate them all. The owner was in and did a table touch to check on us. They were very accommodating.
