We have wanted to come here forever. We ended up here on a Friday not knowing that it's a good day…read moreto come. Let's start with that we got here during happy hour and our Pretzel bites were on special, Score! Not sure we can ever come back and not get them, they are the best version I have ever had, Hot, Crisp and the warm beer cheese that I could eat with a spoon, and they're huge! Great start! Friday Fish Fry is on special as were old fashions, Double Score! You can choose from I think cod or walleye, we both got walleye and they come with fries (really really good fresh cut fries) and coleslaw plus soup or salad for under $20. They have a few versions of old fashions, we got the classic wisconsin with korbel brandy and sweet. They were a bit booze forward and not real sweet but still good. One was enough and we switched to beer from their impressive beer list. The Fish was 2 large pieces perfectly cooked with great fries and good slaw, huge portions and very very good. The salads were a good size for a side salad and also very good. Great portions, great service, and very nice place...we may be regulars

Bartenders were prompt, polite, and friendly. The waitress in the front section (short blonde mid…read more20s) was brusk, unfriendly, and rude. Unless you're going for an "Ed Debevic's" vibe, that chick needs a new line of work, maybe a tow truck driver, or corrections officer. #mid

Just wanted to give everyone a shout out over at Rookies! Tonight was our second time dining here…read morein 2 weeks and is now my kids go to restaurant! The first night we went was half price Pizza (which was fantastic) and the Wing (the parmesan buffalo is amazing!) and fry special which was perfect for our family! Tonight we did kids eat free which is always a great thing! My husband had the steak sandwich (cooked perfect) and I ordered the Smashy Melt on a pretzel bun, delish! I also wanted to point out that we had wonderful service at our table along with the manager on duty! Our server was always asking, especially with kids, if we needed anything and then I noticed the manager walking around to each table personally making sure that everyone's experience was great! That was awesome to see! The food was delicious, hot and on time both times. The kids love watching all the games that are on and the staff is very accommodating to kids which is a huge plus for us! The overall restaurant is very clean! Fresh brewed iced tea was great! Definitely a great night out and we will be coming back again soon! Thanks Rookies!

This Place Is Not Bad.. Perfect For Sports Fans…read more. Beau & I, came here to meet with the guys. Can't say this spot is spectacular, but it wasn't bad. The vibes seemed fairly good, & the food seemed standard.. The Ambiance: A Large & Lively Sports Bar. Plenty of seating. Good for groups & families .. The Service: Mostly Friendly & Accommodating.. The Food: At both locations, we frequented, complimentary popcorn was served, & refilled. I had gyros & fries, twice I believe, at the St. Charles location.. Whereas Beau, had wings, on one occasion. His wings, were not anything special though. Whilst at another location, (Streamwood I think) I had a pretty good burger.. Food seems fairly good, though basic & standard.. Would return again, if the occasion called for it. Last visited, with a small crowd of us, as a send off, to a friend.. Just Might Stop In Again ..

The waitress/hostess was super friendly to us and our dog. She brought her a bowl of water to drink. The food was okay. My mom liked the nachos. The mac and cheese bites were average.

But the star is the large wonderful patio, nicely spaced out, and not too crowded. The menu is pretty typical bar centric fare, but big enough to have something for everyone. Being lunch we wanted something smaller/lighter and both got the turkey bacon grinder. For drinks I got an excellent hazy pale ale that I never had before from Penrose Brewing called Goofy Boots and my wife had a bloody mary that was on special. Great Drinks.... check. For sides I got fries as they listed fresh cut fries and my wife got chips. The fries were awesome, they know how to cook fries, perfectly cooked, great crisp and well browned/done. The sandwitches were very good and abit unique, turkey, melted provolone and what they call grinder salad which was like a coleslaw made with lettuce. A perfect lunch, good sandwich and amazing fries...I'd go back and just eat fries and be perfectly happy.

I have driven past here many times and finally decided to try it. We came to dine-in on Wednesday…read morenight around 7:30pm. The service was a bit slow, but there were only two people working. It took about half an hour to get our food. We enjoyed watching Deal or No Deal on the TV while we waited lol. The guys working were really friendly, brought our food to us and even asked us how we liked the food. I would probably only order takeout from here in the future because they had those orders ready on time. I ordered the 6 piece boneless wing combo, which comes with fries and (possibly?) a drink. I did not realize that I could only choose one or the other for the combo: a drink or side of sauce. While ordering on the kiosk, I selected cheese sauce and it replaced my drink because they were under the same category of options, which I didn't even notice. Although I felt like it was my fault for not double-checking, I still don't think a tiny container of sauce is a fair drink substitute... oh well. Another thing to note is that online when placing an order/viewing the menu, it says the combo comes with a 20oz bottle of soda even though they only had 12oz cans in stock. I think these discrepancies could easily be fixed, and might prevent some confusion/disappointment among future customers. I appreciate that they gave me two extra wings because the boneless are somewhat tiny. For my sauce on the wings, I chose to try the Buldak-Gochujang and it was a little sweet with a hint of spice. The plain fries were just okay. They offer a bunch of different topping options for the fries, which I might be interested in trying next time.

The tables were also a bit sticky, which didn't make the best first impression. That said, the food was really good. Everything tasted very fresh, and the wings were especially solid--not overly breaded and cooked really well. They also have a great variety of sauces with plenty of spicy options and lots of flavor choices. If you're going strictly for the food, the wings definitely deliver.
