The atmosphere was exactly what you'd want from a traditional sports bar -- plenty of screens, cold beer flowing, and a lively crowd getting into the action. We ordered wings and beer, while we watched the game. The wings were noticeably tiny by American standards, but they were cooked really well.

We asked about to go and were told that we had to order off the regular menu. Ok, no problem but are the wings the same as the special wings of the day. We were informed they were. We said "good we like small ones!" We paid, received our bag and left. When we arrive back at our place we opened up our boxes. No celery included. Then there were the wings. They were almost the size of baby turkey wings and totally soggy. So much for excitement of 2 orders of hot wings that didn't happen. Service was good. The place had a good number of customers seeming to be very happy. Just not happy with my order as we were told it would be. Our fault for not opening the food containers before we left. Recommend one eat at the restaurant versus take away.

We had the bammies for a stater and they were ok but nothing to rave about. For mains we had the ribs, goat curry, jerk chicken and slaw, fries and dirty rice for sides. The best thing from the above was the fries and slaw. Sangria is pretty good!!!!

You visit Queenie's of course! The entrance to this place is not easy to spot. You need to go through The Forrester then take the colourful stairs that will lead you to Queenie's. Since it's my first experiencing Caribbean food, I was overwhelmed with choices. The waitress noticed and asked, "Is it your first time here?" To which I replied, "Yes." She recommended the Half and Half where you'd get Jerk Chicken, Jerk Ribs, 2 Grilled Corn, Sweet Potato Fries and Island Slaw. Tender chicken, fall of the bone ribs, grilled corn on the cob covered with shredded coconut and tasty sweet potato fries. Delicious! We also ordered the Voodoo Chicken Wings. Comes with cooling coconut dipping sauce, the chicken wings were deep fried goodness covered in tasty hot sauce. It was finger-lickin', mouth-smackin' good! The staff were warm and attentive. And do try their cocktails. I tried the Kraken & Fresh Apple, it was sweet and refreshing with freshly squeezed apple juice. I left feeling slightly more cultured and I can nod to my friend's Caribbean holiday stories with the feeling that I'd been there too or at least tasted some of it!

I drove all the way there (45 minutes from Eastern suburbs) because my friend had recommended the wings. I see I am not the only one who has ventured here for wings. They were not as good as the ones in North America but I have written an entire blog post http://www.abroad-abroad.ca/Best+Sydney+wings about my wing search and these were by far the best. The crunch was there, the sauce was almost there and while the ranch dipping sauce didn't quite have the thickness and flavour of North America, the wings came with celery and carrots which made them the closest thing you can find. We actually shared the buffalo platter which came with chicken strips, shrimp and wings and all were tasty. We had a side of curly fries just to ensure maximum caloric intake and they were good too. The server was friendly and checked on us more often than many places I have been to in Australia. They were all quite pretty as one would expect. The overweight, balding male managers added a certain Je Ne Sais Quoi that just added to the whole experience. I will go back for sure!

I ordered the Mac Daddy Burger Combo which includes a burger with 3 beef patties and 4 pieces of American cheese and their incredible burger/secret sauce as well as Curly Fries and a Drink. It cost me $19 which is very affordable especially with how much food you receive. The environment was very nice with great music, it has the classic American burger bar feel with the awesome red and white colour scheme. Love this Burger Bar and will definitely be coming here again. Although a bit of a big downside is there is no onsite parking, you have to park in the henry street complex parking across from the courthouse which only has 1 hour free which is disappointing otherwise great.
