He lifted up the cover and showed me after I told him the machine ran hot to the touch and had to keep on shutting machine off to cool off. The machine was picked up, repaired and returned to me within a week and it is now purring like a kitten. While Ariens themselves were not very helpful as I was disappointed with the purchase, Schaub spent extra time with me suggesting the best way to maintain the machine beyond the norm especially since it was apparently an older model from the Box store. I could not have received better service and communication about my machine. My biggest regret is that I purchased it from a big box store instead of an authorized repair shop like Schaub that is familiar with the tendencies of the machine. I'll add that I don't often leave positive reviews since good experiences are expected. I feel they went above and beyond, especially the mechanic, Kent, that communicated with me.
