Ernesto is the cook and he's been there for 30 plus years. Redd, Jenny, & Teresa always provide good service at the bar. At times there are some knuckle heads that don't mind there manners and are asked to leave just like any other establishment around town would. As I walked in I noticed a casual environment with pine wood interior finish out along those same lines. The first thing I noticed when entering was a strong smell of cigarette smoke. I did not realize that the city of Lewisville allowed smoking in restaurants. I suppose I could've sat outside but it was cold and I wasn't dressed for it. So I left It's probably worth a try if cigarette smoke doesn't bother you. It's not my thing.

Another thing that didn't help the situation was when I asked for their spiciest salsa they brought me a tiny cup that contained maybe a couple tablespoons of it. I didn't realize until the bill came that they charge extra for it. Furthermore, it was barely hotter than their regular salsa. Had I known all that, I would never have bothered with the request. Now, I have no problem with garden variety Tex Mex as long as it's priced accordingly, but I expected more here due to their higher prices. Fortunately, there's a Tex Mex place on practically every street corner and Mi Dia isn't the only game in town.
