After visiting we learned that the owner started this coffeehouse/bakery/art gallery as a place her son (with special needs) could work after high school. Moxi hires individuals with special needs to work as baristas and bakers. What an awesome concept! As someone who used to work with individuals with special needs, finding employment after high school was over was one of the biggest obstacles - this is the kind of business we need to see more of! They have delicious looking treats and lots of seating upstairs and down. Fun rockers adorn the front porch that invites you to come an stay awhile. Here's the whole megillah: I don't want to eat in Muslim restaurants that has Islamic prayers and chanting during my meal. (And yes, I've encountered that once, as well. There was really little ambience, and old dingy couches make up some of the seating in the back.
