In August 2015, Budzyn Tire sold me a set of four tires (at half new tire price) which included two badly defective units, which caused a severe pull to the left. When I rotated the tires front to rear, the pull was then to the right. Additionally, three wheel weights fell off - one in their yard and two more in the first few miles.
The tires made my truck so squirrelly on the highway when pulling a trailer, that I was forced to buy two new tires to replace the ones on the front.
When the truck remained squirrelly with a loaded trailer behind it, and one of the rear tires, with severe belt separation, went flat, leaking in five places, I had to replace the two rear ones as well.
When I returned to Budzyn to get a refund, the owner claimed that all her tires are tested and there was no defect, initially refusing to either admit error or offer a refund.
I would avoid this business like the plague, as they sell dangerously defective tires and refuse to take responsibility for their mistakes. I had to leave the four bad tires there, and I have little doubt that she will sell at least two of them to the next sucker who comes by.
Finally, after I threatened legal action and exposure in the press, she offered a half refund, which I accepted just to be done with this disreputable business. read more
