I called the shop to ask if there had been a mistake, and was told that they didn't have the flowers pictured online, so they made a different arrangement at a comparable price. I guess that might have been okay -- if you'd called me to ask?? I spent nearly $100 on an arrangement that was supposed to have a particular meaning for my friend, and they just made a substitution without informing me. If I hadn't called to follow up after my friend sent me the picture of what she received, I wouldn't have even known! Not the kind of service I am used to. I have ordered from local flower shops remotely before and they have always contacted me about any changes or substitutions different from what was advertised and paid for online. What if the person receiving the flowers had a specific allergy?? Just not acceptable. I will not use them again if I need to order in this area.
