Arrangement was stunning-- my girlfriend loved it! The staff was incredibly helpful when I called and described the floral design bouquet (one that they just pick based on what's fresh). It turned out even better than I expected and I would've paid a lot more at other Athens florists who just have telaflora designs. They were also delivered right on time and the staff called to let me know they were delivered and made my gf sign for them (no leaving them at the front door or delivering to the wrong place). This business is very professional. I called from out of town to purchase flowers for a funeral. The lady on line carefully took all the information she would need. She asked if I knew if there was a wake and honestly I did not know. I just wanted to be sure to have flowers delivered for a very special person's funeral the next day. She told me she would call me back and let me know if they would be able to deliver the flowers as they were booked heavy for the next day. I heard back in about 45 minutes and she had checked and found out there was a wake and would have the flowers delivered for that event prior to the funeral. Very nice! Petals on Prince is great! Can't thank you guys enough! I was driving into town from Atlanta to spend time with my Mom. I was roughly 1/2 an hour out of town still when I decided to see if I might be able to snag a pretty arrangement for my Mom on my way in. Mind you this was the week of Mother's Day- when all flower shops are working double time I'm sure. I quickly pulled out my Yelp app and searched for flower shops in Athens. Petals on Prince came up, and had great reviews- so I gave them a call to see if they had any ready-made arrangements I could just grab and go. They did not have any ready made but the nice lady who answered the phone said they may be able to put something together. We discussed the price range I'd like to stick with and she asked me details about what I'd like. I literally said "just something bright and colorful". She said they'd have it ready in about 30 mins- perfect. I ended up making it to the shop a bit earlier than my original ETA, and my arrangement was just in the finishing stages. Petals on Prince did the flowers for our wedding. The flowers were beautiful and the prices were reasonable. What I did not particularly appreciate was getting an email from them, a couple of weeks after the wedding, asking me to "return the box that the corsages were delivered in". They were quick to point out the clause in our contract that said "any items marked 'Return to Petals on Prince' must be returned within 7 days or card will be charged etc etc", which I completely understand... what I DON'T understand is why they didn't tell us ahead of time that part of our delivery needed to be returned. They simply told us that they would deliver the flowers to the venue on the day of the wedding, never mentioning any items that need to be returned. Maybe it's just me, but when I'm expecting a delivery, I don't commonly assume part of that delivery needs to be returned to the sender. If I had known that up front, I would have kept better track of the corsage box, but what can I say, the wedding day was a very hectic blur. It just felt like they were taking advantage of the situation to charge a few extra $$ to our credit card, to be honest. read more

The florist is in a very old converted home across from the new medical school. Talk about impeccable service! I am so happy to have found Petals on Prince! The daughter of my boyfriend was getting married in a simple ceremony in Georgia, and I wanted to buy her bouquet. I live in Mazatlan, Mexico, so it was no small feat! I looked at dozens of photos of bouquets online and finally found one similar to what the bride wanted. I sent the photo to Petals on Prince and got an immediate reply, that yes, they could do it though one of the flower types was not available. She sent me back some photos of what WAS available and we went from there. The bouquet, boutonneires and wrist corsage I ordered could not have been more beautiful. The bride was thrilled. The flowers needed to be delivered the day before the wedding for photos that were being taken at 9 am, and though I was warned that the orchids in the bouquet might wilt a bit overnight, they did not. They were very nice in placing the order, and made a suggestion that was in my best interest, not theirs. I found out that night that the person was being transferred to a rehab facility and left them a voice mail about it. They called the next morning to confirm they got the message. They called again to update me about her location, and they called again to confirm they had delivered the arrangement to the rehab facility after she had been transferred.
