Hidden inside in a corner is a live bee hive that lets you watch those busy bees while sipping on that slushie, which happens to be a favorite pastime of mine. They have regular size and small pies as well. They recently put the apple cider slush float on the menu and that is a must. Their doughnuts are delicious too. They have small apple pieces in every bite and this to me separates them. The ambiance of the orchard is inviting and you can bring the kids since they have a small animal farm in the back as well. If you haven't come here yet, go ahead and give them a visit.

We've witnessed many of the property improvements made throughout the years. New barns, improved play areas for kiddos and new concessions just to name a few. The main reason for our stop is the apple cider donuts. They may be me favorite of all the orchards I've been too. Fresh and hot right out of the fryer, these donuts have that slight crunchy exterior but are incredibly moist on the inside. Topped with some cinnamon sugar and you have a delicious fall treat. You can also find a great selection of other food items and fall decor. It's definitely worth a stop.

Descriptive phrase: Small, useful farmers market in the middle of historic downtown Janesville…read more This was actually my first time at the Janesville Farmers Market, but mom has been here many times and always brings back goodies. My two favorites are the kettle corn and corn on the cob. I would say there was 20-25 vendors on Wall Street, ranging from handmade soap to home grown squash. Market is open Saturday mornings from 8am-1pm. Vendors came from all around the area from cities such as Monroe, Milton, Edgerton, and Bardstown. This is by no means an all day event. We probably spent 20-25 minutes and looked at nearly every vendor, stopping for a quick talk. Nearby the market are my two favorite restaurants in Janesville, Cozy Inn ( Oldest Chinese restaurant in Wisconsin) and O'Riley & Conway's Irish Pub. If you are in the Janesville area, it might be worth a stop!

Something for everyone. On top of all that there are stalls from local farmers and sellers of flowers, honey, jewelry, baked goods, clothing, and plenty of other goodies, as well as local businesses and groups with games and information about their services. It's not a huge venue so on packed days parking may take you a few blocks away but it is a nice walk. Also sometimes seating can be tricky to find if you need to sit to eat, so if you do and you see a spot, don't let it pass you by! There is even a water feature the kiddos play in which was pretty cute to watch. Overall a fun way to spend a few hours on Fridays, getting a wide variety of food and drinks and listening to local musicians. Definitely worth a stop if you happen to be in the area on a Friday night in the warmer months.

There are people selling homemade crafts, produce, meats and cheeses, beer (yes, beer! Carlyle's brewing company has a table there and some local distributor as well), food and entertainment! From what I gathered, the booths change through out the season; some are only there for certain days while others for the entire show. That can be good or bad. If you find a place you like they may not be there the next week, but there may be something you like more! Plus the entertainment changes every week. This week while there we bought beer, a necklace and earrings for my wife, candied nuts, beer, peaches, pet odor eliminate candles, beer, sweet corn, Bleu cheese, a 5 gallon bucket, beer (not a 5 gallon bucket of beer!) some food and just had a good time. We killed 2 hours here just hanging out. Parking is a little difficult.
