I wanted to cheer her up as this last month has been so hard for her with test results. I asked for something bright and beautiful. I could hear that smile. She was stunned by the arrangement, the beautiful blooms, the colours and the vase it came in. A nurse walked in as we were speaking and I could hear her exclamations. Thank you for making her smile, it means so much to me.

FANTASTIC FLORAL ARRANGEMENT!…read more I found Hinsdale Flower Shop via a Yelp search, as I needed to order flowers for my auntie's birthday. I navigated straight to their website and found it so simple to browse the site. I went to the occasions -- birthday page and found the perfect arrangement. I ordered some cut flowers in a simple vase, the arrangement is called "Brighten Your Day." I got the standard one ($59 + $15.95 delivery to Woodridge). The description on the site is as follows: "With an abundant array of bright red, yellow and purple flowers, this arrangement is sure to brighten your day. Roses, alstroemeria, asters, carnations and chrysanthemums are delivered in a cheerful clear glass vase." Apologies for not getting an actual photo - my aunt is not very technology-savvy so I had to use the photo from their website. The flowers were, indeed, very cheerful! My auntie was very pleased. I got an email confirmation immediately after she received them Had no issues with the order so I did not need to contact the shop. A++++!

The shop was closed for the day and I left a voice message; the owner called me back within minutes. I even asked for some substitutions and the addition of a bow and the owner said she was happy to make the changes. There was no upselling or up charges. The flowers were delivered the afternoon of the wake, as promised, arriving before the family did. I recommend patronizing this flower shop without hesitation.

I ordered a bouquet for my mom for Mother's Day. My mom is the most incredible and selfless woman in the world, so my brothers and I wanted to treat her to a nice flower arrangement that we thought she'd really love. I scoured local shops until I found the perfect arrangement here. It was exactly what I knew my mom would love. In fact, I paid EXTRA to ensure that the arrangement was EXACTLY like the photo. I've attached a photo of what I ordered compared to what I received. My heart sunk when I saw it. I actually ordered 2 of them (one for my mother-in-law) but I ended up throwing the second away because they were wilted and I had time to go get a different bouquet unlike the one I gave to my mom. My mom is so sweet, and was happy to receive ANYTHING, but my brothers and I were so disappointed. Kitty was nice enough to offer me the money back on one of the bouquets, which I appreciated. However, I had a very hard time accepting the fact that this bouquet was designed this way "because the flowers they included costed more than the ones in the original photo"... I ordered that exact arrangement for a reason. Yes, I am appreciative that I got the amount back that I did, but this never should have been an issue to begin with. I struggle financially, so this was a triple blow to me. I've learned my lesson to never order flowers online. Always go in to a store. I strongly advise you to do the same.
