AVOID AT ALL COST. GO ANYYHWERE ELSE AT IAH. You've been warned. Don't go to Budget in Houston. Ever. For any reason. I had hope to use Fast Break to be able to select a car and go. But that didn't work so I had to stand in line. Since the rental car terminal was relatively empty (none of the other brands had any line at all) I figured it wouldn't be too bad. But the line at Budget took over 30 minutes. That would have been bad enough, but it just got worse. The free upgrade that came with the rental code I used? I was basically told this branch doesn't really "do" upgrades as they barely have enough cars to meet their reservations. Then the finally assigned me a car. I went out and found another couple sitting in the car. They should me their receipt; we'd both been assigned the same car. So I went back into the office, just skipped the HUGE line this time, and asked. After a half hearted apology they assigned me another car. Still not done with the misery I got into the car and headed for the exit. There was another huge line just to get out of the gate. It could have been worse. We returned the car at a more popular time. The return didn't go too badly (just a bit slow) but the line at Budget now stretched entirely across the entire shared rental car terminal. See the photo. Based on how fast our line moved this it was probably a 3-4 HOUR wait. Seriously, you've been warned. Book anywhere else.

Since it was a work phone containing vital information that I needed for the next business day, their speed and coordination were lifesavers. They were able to get the phone back to me quickly, and I truly wish I had their last names to share with corporate. So I sat on the seating in the office and proceeded to make an on line reservation. The online service said no vehicles available, which I knew there was. I relayed this to the employee working the desk, and she said, nothing I can do about that. Offered absolutely no help at all and could care less if I rented a vehicle. I walked out, went home and signed on to Enterprise on line and within minutes had a car reserved at a lower rate than Avis. When I went to ENTERPRISE to pick the vehicle up, it was quite a different experience. The ENTERPRISE representative was professional, unlike AVIS. I was in and out in a matter of minutes. We will never ever rent for AVIS again. Enterprise is leagues above AVIS. Glad to have had the option to elect ENTERPRISE!

She claims she was shopping for the restroom. She had four bags or five bags as a manager You should not have a job and that was nothing compared to the type of service she gave me she was very disrespectful. We exchanged words because she didn't know her job, I kept asking her if she's going to reimburse the gas money because she made us go fill the tank up after my aunt already prepaid, Michelle the so-called unprofessional manager even made a young boy, followed me to the gas station to tell me that I don't need to put gas anymore, but he was too late because I had already put gas so when I went back inside the store asking her if we were gonna get refunded, she decided to yell and say I already did it. Prior to that I was trying to show her a picture of the gas that it was barely anything that was left for the car to be on full ,I was just trying to show her if I still need to fill it up and she goes who's next behind the line which I didn't understand because me and my aunt were still standing right in the front, so why are you screaming? Can I help the next person you're not done with us so I later found out that she was the manager that's actually very sad and I would complain every day and go up there every day till I don't see her there anymore. I will make sure I follow through with corporate supervisors, and everybody that I can. I don't like people that are disrespectful for absolutely no reason and I also don't like people that don't do their job correctly, like you are shopping during work hours you do not deserve a job. It doesn't matter if you're shopping for Avis you don't leave the store. I watched somebody came and left. She had an orange shirt on as the camera footage would show that she was upset because nobody was there. Michelle, you are unfit as a manager you do not deserve a job. I will be up there tomorrow with the police to collect the camera footage just know the day you disrespected me was the day you know not to ever disrespect a customer because I will take it the furthest legally she needs to understand they're people that hate rude managers more than anything and I'm one of them.

He should not be in any customer-facing position. I was sent to this Enterprise location by Uber for a car swap after getting a flat tire on the rental I picked up Monday. The vehicle had no spare, so it had to be towed. The flat occurred around 5:45 PM. When I arrived, I explained the situation and was told to speak with Champ. He informed me that no rentals were available at that moment and asked me to wait until he cleared the current line. I waited outside in the cold for 15-30 minutes as more customers arrived. I eventually asked if there was somewhere I could wait inside, and he directed me to a seating area. After an additional 20-30 minutes inside the airport, I got into the main line. I was again instructed to speak with Champ -- meaning I had to go back outside. By this point, I had been waiting for over an hour. I approached him to ask for an update and to understand how many customers he needed to assist before I would receive help. Champ became immediately escalated, telling me I "wasn't his customer" because I didn't pick up my rental at that location. He insisted he would help all customers with reservations for that branch before assisting me, despite the fact that I already had an active rental and had been waiting longer than many of the customers he assisted ahead of me. I reminded him that he works for Enterprise as a whole, and I could not understand why roadside assistance would send me to a location that supposedly had no vehicles. He then yelled that he wasn't going to argue with me and walked off to help yet another customer who arrived after I did. At this point I called Enterprise Roadside Assistance, in tears, trying to understand why I was sent there and prepared to request an Uber home. I asked Champ for his last name for documentation purposes. He yelled back, "CHAMP! YOU CAN TELL THEM CHAMP -- THEY AIN'T GOING TO DO ANYTHING!" After another 10-15 minutes, Champ suddenly produced a vehicle -- a Mitsubishi Mirage -- that had been sitting in the lot the entire time. I didn't care what the car was; I just wanted to get out of the cold and go home. I finally left with a rental around 8:30 PM, nearly three hours after the flat occurred. **This was the worst customer service experience I've ever had.** **I will never use this location or enterprise again.** **Champ should not be in a customer-facing role in any capacity!**

Everything was quick and efficient, and it wasn't crowded during our two visits. It was quiet, actually. To give you an idea of how fast everything was, we landed in Terminal A, exited the secured area, and went down the escalators to baggage claim and ground transportation at 4:40pm on a Friday. We were inside our rental car by 5:02pm. Those 22 minutes included walking to and riding on the rental car shuttle, checking in with our rental car agency (Alamo Rent a Car), and walking to and loading up our rental car. Returning our rental car was as fast as could possibly be, the following Saturday at 3:46pm. I was greeted by an Alamo employee as soon as I pulled up and parked. The return address is 17330 Palmetto Pines, Houston, TX 77032. Follow the signs from there. Alamo's QR-code check-in process made picking up our rental car fast. The agent stated that if I did not purchase this option, I would incur toll charges of approximately $15 each time I passed through a toll. Before agreeing to this charge, I clearly explained my travel plans in detail and showed the agent my GPS route. My travel consisted only of driving from the airport to my hotel in Katy, very limited local driving near the hotel (with most destinations within walking distance), and returning to the airport on Sunday. Despite reviewing my route, the agent strongly insisted that I purchase the toll package and warned that I would pay significantly more without it. Based on this representation, I agreed. In reality, I only passed through two tolls, each clearly posted at $1.50 for two-axle vehicles. Even accounting for the return trip, the total toll cost would be approximately $6.00 (four tolls total). This amount is far less than the $38.31 charged and confirms that the information provided to me was inaccurate and misleading. I am also concerned that this interaction reflects sales pressure to purchase unnecessary add-on services rather than transparent customer guidance. After researching this issue on the Better Business Bureau website, Yelp, Google Reviews, and your company's own customer reviews, I found numerous complaints describing the same experience customers being pressured into purchasing toll packages and other add-ons that were not needed. This appears to be an ongoing and recurring issue rather than an isolated incident. Very disappointed

Customer service did not exist.  This location was not an in person transaction.   Unreachable agents via phone.  Unreasonable requests made by video agent: he wanted to see my insurance policy document when I declined to buy Nextcar's (this was after I showed him my DL with name and address, and my AAA insurance card with my name). Once I got an electronic copy of my insurance, he said I would still have to pay the $20 a day because my insurance was not appropriate, "deductible is too high, ma'am." This transaction took about 45 minutes, no joke! I will never rent at this or any Nextcar location.  My husband and I are in agreement with this, despite the fact that other states, with real agents live, 3D have been more reasonable. Our last transaction with Nextcar.
