We had a group of 3 windows and wanted one shade to cover them, and Brandon was the only one willing to do that for us. The other 3 companies said it wouldn't be possible. Brandon is professional, punctual, polite, kind, and is genuinely interested in helping his customers as opposed to simply "selling" them on something. I have both shutters and electronic blinds - all from Classic Homes Dallas. One of my electronic blinds stopped working back in August. I was still within my warranty period so reached out to the company to get my shade repaired. I have been mostly speaking with Jennifer. Over the past 3 months, I have heard every excuse to why my repair is taking so long, ie: we changed our systems, cannot find your original order, the company we used for these shades went out of business, the staff in our office quit (yet again - I think like twice now), we cannot find a motor, we are looking for a separate remote, and the latest, we found a motor and cannot seem to locate the hardware! Every excuse made it seem like it was MY FAULT! And when I asked to speak with the owner, Rick, well, he seems to be on vacation quite often. It took less time to get these ordered and installed the first time than to get 1 simple motor replaced. At this point (after 3 months), a new motor should have been ordered and installed - that would have been the right thing to do since it is under warranty. Not offer to give me a pieced together model that may not hold up! Needless to say, my patience has worn out and on top of it, I have a shade that has been hanging down for 3 months - unable to roll up or roll down!! Not great when it is the back of your house in the hot summer when the sun is going down! Every week that I have spoken with Jennifer, there is a new excuse! And at the end of it all, I still have a broken shade that is under warranty. I am just starting the review/complaint process here and will be making a more formal complaint against this company since I am losing all hope that anything will be done. Just thought I would share my experience for those that are shopping for shades! Product looks great, but you better hope something does not go wrong! Reached out to the company and was assured it was still under warranty and they'll have someone come out to fix it however, they require a $250 service charge via check which I issued when they arrived. They came and said some parts were needed and they'll come back to fix it. They came back and said it wasn't repairable. Called the office to ask what next and was told the damage was caused by wind therefore, is not covered by warranty. I asked how they knew it was a wind damage as this seems like an assumption and excuse to not fix the damage. The lady I spoke to, can't remember her name. Maybe Jennifer chuckled and said " well I don't know what else could have caused this damage. You're not supposed to have the blinds down because it can't withstand wind more than 25mph". Excuse me??? First of all, we weren't told this. We were told this was a weather resistant blind and how on earth am I supposed to have blinds and expected to keep it up at all times? What is the purpose of the blinds then??? I told her we only keep it down at night and she said, "well, that's when you get the most wind". When else am I supposed to keep the blinds down? During the day when we're sitting in the patio? Or keep it up when it's raining and storming??? These are the times we need the blinds to protect our outdoor furniture and electronics! She did not seem to care at all and said all she could do was give me a quote for a brand new install! Haven't heard back from them since then and they never refunded my $250 either! When my parents came to the store location, they met Julie Reed who was very pleasant & had a warm…read morepersonality. My father was purchasing new drapes for their house per my mother's request. The total came to around $5,500. Julie came to the house several days later to do the measurements & at that time she didn't advise them of when the drapes would be ready for install... okay cool, because it's difficult to estimate when that vendor will have the product ready. On the day of the install she called to advise us that the installer was having an issue at the customer's house before us & couldn't make it that day. Okay cool, totally understand. The guy doing the install came on 8/13/24 & arrived 15 minutes before she told us that he would be there which we appreciated. During his work process, he discovered that the measurements on one of the two sets of drapes was off by 1 ¼ inches & advised my parents that he would need to have it sent to the seamstress & should have it back in about a week. Okay, so Julie screwed up when doing the measurements... no biggie... we're all human. Here's where my complaint comes into play... now you would think that since my parents were dealing directly with the owner of the business that she would have called my parents to apologize for the inconvenience, right?!?! Nope... no phone call or even a text message from her. So today * 8/22/24 * I asked my mother if Julie had contacted them with an update. Nope. No attempt at communication. Now my parents are both 79, have a passive personality, & do everything possible to avoid confrontation so knowing this, I knew that I needed to take over the situation. I called Julie at 4:15 & was told, "Oh the guy is coming to install the drapes tomorrow!" I replied, "umm... TOMORROW?!?! Don't you think you should have contacted us to let my parents know?!?" "Oh yeah, I guess I should have called." "Julie, are you serious? So, if I hadn't called you today then the guy would've just showed up tomorrow to do the install & what if we weren't home?!?!" At this point, I let it be known via the tone of my voice that I was aggravated. She stutters & tells me she's driving & doesn't feel comfortable talking to me on the phone while driving. I told her that tomorrow wouldn't work for us since we have several appointments & that she needed to call me back so we could discuss this further. It is now 5:10 & she hasn't called or texted me yet. I know this is long & I apologize, but I felt I needed to provide all the details so that the people reading this understand why I'm saying that Julie's lack of customer service & appreciation is pathetic. My parents spent $5,500 of their hard earned money with Julie & she cannot make a slight effort to ensure that my parents were satisfied customers?!?! So, IMO, if you have a busy schedule & you value your time, do not do business with this place.

The installation was subpar at best. They hung 2 of the shutters so close to the door handle I couldn't get my hand on the handle. They came back and moved those two after not showing up several times when promised. Now the shutters and doors each have several visible nail holes. Also some of the shutters keep opening because they aren't making adequate contact with the magnet. They also seem very loose. I don't recommend.
