Just visited the area for the weekend and this was my local Tesco which I gotta admit was a…read morecomplete blessing! Using my sat nav just to try find a grocery shop and I passed budgens and as I was trying to find a safe place to turn around I happen to find Tesco which to my delight had a big car park which was sign posted very well! So I got a great spot next to the entrance and at first grabbed a basket as I knew this was a small store but just going down one aisle I then decided I needed a trolley as there was more items you can get through this store! I ended up doing my whole weekend shopping which was great for me as I didn't have to venture anywhere else and the queues for the till was very short and staff were very friendly!

Since the recent refit from Alldays to Welcome stores, the once simple convience shop in the small…read moretown of Cranbrook has become a life saver to near by residence who can't walk up to the main supermarket up the high street. since the refit Welcome stores has been stocking a variety of products at a great price for all. Reading about "chavs and kids" outside the shop although these kids can be annoying to passers by, welcome stores takes no crap from kids outside chavs or not (and they no it) - also the fact that you havn't been to the shop in a couple of years really doesn't say much.(Andrew)

It's a very nice shop with good, friendly postie staff. Things must have changed for the better since you were there a couple of years ago!
