Today we made our first trip to Budds since they opened. We placed a pre-order on the website which went pretty well, with the exception of some difficulty in submitting a photo of my Drivers License. After a number of unsuccessful attempts we got lucky and the order was accepted. In a very short amount of time later we received a text that our order was ready for pick up. We swung by and were able to park right in front of the door which for these old bones was a bonus. A quick ID check and they pointed me in the right direction to pick up my order. At the counter, the budtender reviewed my order for correctness, I handed over the money and received my Cannabis order. From getting out of the car to returning back...Mission Accomplished... took maybe 10 minutes. Looks like we have a new Despensery right in our back yard . read more

Selection was decent. The only thing that I'd have to harp on is they only have two kiosks in the store. So either order online before you get there or the store has to put more kiosks up in a conspicuous places in the store. I got one pre roll which cost me ~$10. Which I thought was decent. I would go back but I personally would order online before my arrival read more

I was shopping for a sleepy time edible for my wife who has trouble sleeping due to a autoimmune disease that has her on prednisone who often prevents her from sleeping through the night. The product I bought, made by Gron, was delicious dark chocolate and very effective. It was reasonably priced and she sleep through the night. I'm sure I'll be revisiting Riverbend many times in the future.

To the people complaining about the prices; this is a small business that doesn't have corporate sponsorship or the ability to buy big box store quantities resulting in slightly higher prices, but very much improved quality. To the people complaining about the service; when I was there shopping there were only two people working, which as an adult who works in retail customer service understands, just because it's not busy inside, it doesn't mean the worker's are not busy. I highly recommend Black Horse Farm for great plants, delicious baked goods, and friendly local service. I even want to mention that when it comes to customer service, one of the employees overheard me talking about Strawberry Rhubarb Pie, and when I mentioned they didn't have any, they went to the back and got one for me that was still cooling; that's customer service. So, if you are someone who appreciates the nuance of shopping local, I can not recommend Black Horse Farm enough, but if you're a whiny adult who needs their hand held at all times while shopping, and gets offended with someone quickly answering a question while continuing to do their work (again, small staff but still lots of work to do), perhaps you should go to a corporate big box store. Me, I know where I'm going, and it's to Black Horse Farm!
