Towards the front the tables are rather crowded together but one step up going towards the back it's more spacious. Their menu is rather complete even with a selection of 5 different rice preparations including a turmeric or black sesame infused. They also have 8 Chef Specials and 5 Duck Specials in their listing along with various seafood and curry dishes. As they seem to handle some take out you'll find people coming and going and for whatever reason the wait staff seems to get involved, so service tends to rather goofy. As for the quality of the food and what I had, I'd say basic Thai, rather good but I didn't have anything that I would consider to be of particular note or exceptional. They note that there food is prepared medium in heat unless you request spicy; however beware of those tiny little red chili peppers. The prices are reasonable and I found it to be a comfortable place to eat especially as I had a window view of Macleay Street which is really good for a Potts Point people watching.

US Reviewer here!…read more TL;DR - Chef Dan Hong is a genius. This was one of my favorite restaurants I tried at Sydney thanks to my awesome colleagues at work who took us there. If you want amazing Asian-Fusion food, this is the place to go. Review: This was highly recommended by my work colleagues here in Sydney and since I was only familiar with CBD, they were kind enough take us there by tram. I'm so glad I went with them. Location (3/5): It's an interesting location but I heard from the locals that it's an expensive area. The funny thing is that maybe a couple of blocks away is the red-light district. Heard it's gotten more low-key after the lock-down laws took impact though. Overall, it was a cool neighborhood to just eat/chill/drink. Restaurant (5/5): I love the concept of Ms. G's. It's a restaurant in this 3 to 4 story building and I love the huge open windows and asian-inspired decorations. You connect with the restaurant really quickly and it just had a good vibe. Service (5/5): The wait-staff was amazing. Our group was pretty large (around 10 people) and they were really on top of their game. Water was always filled, food came out on time, and they came back often to make sure we were doing okay. I really felt taken care of here. Food (5/5) - AMAZING. I'm not going to go over all the dishes we ordered but please take a look at the pics. Every dish we ordered I thought was amazing but here are the ones I thought were extra special: 1.) Cheeseburger Spring Roll - $6 Each - How the hell did he do it? He literally made a McDonald's Big Mac into a spring roll. It was one of the coolest dishes I ever ate. Definitely get this one when you go. 2.) Mini Bahn Mi - $7.5 Each - SO GOOD! Definitely my favorite dish of the nice. It was like a burger Bahn Mi and I love the soft buns and the crunchy chicken katsu. Perfect combo. I am definitely coming back here again to eat. Hands down one of the best places to go to in Sydney.

This is my favorite Thai restaurant in Sydney. Full stop. I realize what that is saying. This was…read morethe first place I got quickie takeout from after landing in town both last year and this year and it will be the last thing I eat before I leave. It's probably actually my favorite restaurant of any kind in Sydney. Nestled between a clock shop and an adult video (? or something ?) store on Oxford Street, this restaurant offers classic Thai staples in hearty portion sizes for prices well below what they probably should be. It's nothing fancy, but they are always quick to bring out water, happy to accommodate your BYO option for the meal, and the décor inside is bright colored walls with tasteful scattered plants, posters, mirrors and dimly lit candles on tables which provide just the right amount of ambiance to make it feel special for an evening date. They are usually pretty busy and can be packed at lunchtime, but they do a swift takeout order if need be. This place is good enough and the staff are so friendly, I don't even mind coming to eat lunch here by myself once in a while. My favorites are the curry puffs as a starter and the red curry chicken as a main. My partner loves the lad nar with tofu and vegetables. I also recommend the spring rolls or fish cakes as starters, tom kha gai as a soup will do for a main too, or any of the basics like fried rice, pad kee mow, or pad thai as mains. The dishes range from $10-12 roughly, based on the meat you select. I haven't had anything thus far that I didn't like, and most of it I found to be simply delectable. I leave stuffed every time, feeling like I probably shouldn't have finished the last few bites but I can't help myself.
