Ordering online was really easy and I was impressed with their range. I ended up opting for a plant rather than flowers and I picked the "green thumb" option for delivery the next day. From then, I didn't have to do anything - delivery was done without a hitch and I got a text from Mum in the middle of the night (my time, not hers) saying thanks for the delivery. This place will not let you down. It's beautifully set up with fresh flowers, cards, little gifts, balloons and even jewellery. There are pre-made bouquets which I have purchased twice while on the go. One had lovely rustic looking flowers with a small apple in the bunch. They were much loved by the recipient, well wrapped in brown crepe paper and a few bits of burlap and ribbon. I've also went in and asked them to make me up a bouquet of blue coloured flowers for a new Mum of a baby boy. I named my price and a gorgeous arrangement with blue hydrangeas and tall yellow flowers was born. They're very competitive prices considering a bunch of flowers will sometimes cost you $15-$20 at Safeway or Coles. For similar prices you can get a much spendier looking bouquet that's wrapped nicely and includes the plant food. The employees are very friendly as well. There's usually good music playing and a good vibe. I was chatting to one employee, manager or owner I assume, and he was saying that they won first prize in the Melbourne flower show and they were a late entry. We were really lacking in quality flowers and Bloomsville has been like a breath of fresh air. I met the owner a while ago and he always seems to be happy and cheerful, filled with great knowledge about the flowers and different arrangements. He mentioned that he had helped out with arrangements at the races and told me about a feature of bright pink rhododendrons. I was sold. When I walked past I noticed that apart from having the usual gorgeous seasonal flowers and foliage that there was Christmas decorations in the store. After I had gotten over my initial shock about the fact that Christmas is indeed approaching, I had a closer look and resolved to return soon - not just for some flowers, but to browse the cute merchandise.
