I named my price and a gorgeous arrangement with blue hydrangeas and tall yellow flowers was born. They're very competitive prices considering a bunch of flowers will sometimes cost you $15-$20 at Safeway or Coles. For similar prices you can get a much spendier looking bouquet that's wrapped nicely and includes the plant food. The employees are very friendly as well. There's usually good music playing and a good vibe. Every section of the store is covered with blooms, and at the moment there are some exquisite seasonal flowers including delphiniums (white, purple and blue), bluebells, freesias and hyacinths. The result of so many flowers in the space is a beautiful scent that greets you any day of the year. Vasette also have Australian and tropical blooms; it's a relief to see a successful flower smith who isn't limited by the traditional English garden varieties. Scarlet waratahs, delicate orchids and enormous crab claws jut out amongst the buckets, and you need not be worried about the quality. All the flowers are fresh, and in all my years of buying blooms I have never been disappointed. Expect great service and great advice. The staff are qualified and creatively passionate about working with their organic medium. They can put together a beautiful bouquet, or help with planning major events.
