Ordering online was really easy and I was impressed with their range. I ended up opting for a plant rather than flowers and I picked the "green thumb" option for delivery the next day. From then, I didn't have to do anything - delivery was done without a hitch and I got a text from Mum in the middle of the night (my time, not hers) saying thanks for the delivery. This place will not let you down. It's beautifully set up with fresh flowers, cards, little gifts, balloons and even jewellery. There are pre-made bouquets which I have purchased twice while on the go. One had lovely rustic looking flowers with a small apple in the bunch. They were much loved by the recipient, well wrapped in brown crepe paper and a few bits of burlap and ribbon. I've also went in and asked them to make me up a bouquet of blue coloured flowers for a new Mum of a baby boy. I named my price and a gorgeous arrangement with blue hydrangeas and tall yellow flowers was born. They're very competitive prices considering a bunch of flowers will sometimes cost you $15-$20 at Safeway or Coles. For similar prices you can get a much spendier looking bouquet that's wrapped nicely and includes the plant food. The employees are very friendly as well. This arrangement were delivered in a filled vase and changed into fresh water immediately after receiving so this poor quality cannot be from lack of water. The roses when received look old and dying and I was very unahhpy with them. When I called Bayleaves Florist about my roses their staff were very unhelpful, rude and not sympathetic at all. They claimed no responsiblity for my poor quality roses and refused to refund or attend to my complaint in any way. I would advise anyone and everyone to stay away from this florist and not waste their money!
