Have you ever walked into a florist and thought... "Geez, where's my American Express?"…read more I never understood why so many CBD Florist's charge so much for flowers that cost them 1/10th of the sale price. The ladies who work here are really in-the-know about everything flowers orientated. I jog past here everyday and when the occasion arose for birthday flowers i stopped by and was surprised by the range and the prices. TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, THE MOST DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED BY THE…read moreBOSS OF THIS ESTABLISHMENT. I had arranged for flowers to be delivered in two weeks time after my wedding to thank my Celebrant and Hairdresser. The florist, who DID NOT read the date of delivery which was CLEARLY STATED for two weeks time, (after the wedding), sent the flowers the next day and not in 2 weeks as requested. I was offered a refund at first, and then later refused. If I insisted on a refund FOR THEIR ERROR, the boss was then going to go and collect the flowers from the Celebrant and Hairdresser. Have you ever heard of such appalling customer service? They have lost my business for good and I will ensure others find out how this boss treats his customers.

Every section of the store is covered with blooms, and at the moment there are some exquisite seasonal flowers including delphiniums (white, purple and blue), bluebells, freesias and hyacinths. The result of so many flowers in the space is a beautiful scent that greets you any day of the year. Vasette also have Australian and tropical blooms; it's a relief to see a successful flower smith who isn't limited by the traditional English garden varieties. Scarlet waratahs, delicate orchids and enormous crab claws jut out amongst the buckets, and you need not be worried about the quality. All the flowers are fresh, and in all my years of buying blooms I have never been disappointed. Expect great service and great advice. Their ever-changing window displays are a good indicator of the aesthetic within - vintage pastels and kitsch astro turf are often featured. Inside there is a large selection of arrangements, as well as a relatively smaller number of flowers to have your own made up. They also sell beautifully packaged pot plants for longer-lasting gifts. I usually select individual flowers to have a custom bouquet made, and the arrangements are always perfect. The paper, ribbon and string used are tasteful and high quality. The florists put a small individual bloom on the front of each bouquet which is a lovely touch, although it makes you hesitant to actually unwrap the flowers and put them in a vase!
