Buck's Diner has such a fun old-school 50s diner vibe. It's small inside, but in a cozy way! There are a few booths plus a long counter lined with classic diner stools that really add to the atmosphere. The waitress was super nice and attentive the entire time, which made the experience even better. I got 2 sliders and added cheese, and they were AMAZING. The meat had really good flavor, and the bun tasted buttery and fresh (not sure if it was actually buttered or just the bun itself, but either way it was so good). Also, the pop cups are huge, which I appreciated. I didn't need to wait for a refill! Prices were very reasonable too. The parking lot is small, but there was still more than enough space when we went. Definitely worth stopping by if you like classic diner spots. read more

I was out for a ride on my motorcycle and decided I was ready for some breakfast. Yelp once again pointed me in a good direction and I knew I had found something special when I walked in the front door. I was graded by essentially the whole staff and took a seat at the counter. Lexi took care of me throughout and was an absolute sweetheart the whole time I was there. Polite conversation and a great big smile. I enjoyed meeting her very much. The atmosphere is perfect for a diner. Lots of 1950s era signage and the right color scheme as well. I understand the building is historic, they've done a great job keeping it up. My breakfast was simple but delicious. Two eggs, fantastic bacon, and an English muffin. Even the decaffeinated coffee was well done. I've noted that lots of places seem to not take much pride in their decaf, not so here. I would love to come back someday. read more

Stopped in here a few week's ago on a weekend getaway. They were short staffed I assumed because I believe the owner waited on us and was the most friendly anyone could ask for. This is the place where locals obviously go because the owner knew everyone by name and I just love places like this. I got the Polish sausage special with potato pancakes. Damn delicious and portions were gigantic. Fiance got an omelette, same was delicious and enormous. The awesome red diner chairs that I thought only existed in movies. Very clean. Very nice staff and everyone is a tightknit family and so many regulars come here. Very homey! My boyfriend and I came here for the first time this morning for breakfast and we were blown away! I ordered a western wrap while he had the Bucks Big Breakfast and it's definitely big! Eggs, hash browns, ham, bacon, sausage and toast. Lots of food and everything was prepared perfectly. Just how we wanted everything. I asked for slightly burnt toast and it was exactly how I asked. Weird request I know! Lots of flavor and typical diner food. Although after I ordered I saw they had peanut butter pancakes on the special board. That sounded really yummy! Our waitress was very kind and told us all about the diner and that she has worked there since it opened in 1990. I can't wait to go back. Fast service. Clean and very inexpensive. I've been going to Bucks for 7+ years! they have always had great service and great food under the old owners. the new manager will rip you off and upcharge you any way possible with out informing you on what the up charges will be. we asked if you can do a side salad instead of French fries. you say yes no problem we can do that then $5.50 later for a side salad with 4 pieces of lettuce and 2 tomatoes come on. then you ask to make your burger a deluxe French fries and coleslaw for $1.89. oh don't worry all you'll get is 5 French fries thrown in your burger basket and a 4$ bill for a basket of fries. last time I checked a basket of fries is a whole damn basket of fries not a handful in your meal. and where's my coleslaw your charging me for. Worst manager I have ever dealt with and the worst customer service. don't worry they have a huge counter for them to bend you over backwards on while they rip you off any way possible!!! I asked waitress how much longer on my food, we had been there for 45 mins and no food. Mind you plenty of people had left and they had empty tables inside. The excuse was we are low staffed, well then maybe people shouldn't be sat outside. Finally get my food and it's not even what I ordered. We've been here plenty of times and I've never waited this long for food so it was a very fair question but apparently it was rude of me to ask since she followed my husband out of the restaurant called him by his full name she got off the credit card in front of other customers, and said you need to tell your girlfriend not to be so rude. My husband said that's my wife and she had every right to ask why her food was taking so long. Then we get our credit card charge and waitress added a $3.00 tip after my husband had crossed it out with no tip. Waitress should never have followed my husband out of restaurant, nor called him by his full name in public in front of people we don't know. Adding a tip when one was not given nor deserved. Very unprofessional. We've been coming here for years and never had a problem, I've also never seen this waitress before. I understand everything is still opening up after the pandemic but this is by far the worst service I've received. We love this place but after being treated the way we were treated we will not be back. The owner is great, however a bad waitress can ruin the experience. read more
