It is a very personable and the employees seem to be very close to one another and this just makes for a very intimate environment. They were very welcoming and very present during my visit. Like all Cato stores, this one is neat, clean and nicely staged. They are currently having a large clearance sale on fall clothing and since it is still warm, this is a great time to buy. If you like colorful, fashion forward clothing you need to make a visit to Cato. They literally carry everything you need to expand your wardrobe: clothing, shoes, accessories, undergarments and outer wear. They carry misses and larger sizes. I had a very disappointing experience at this TJ Maxx location. I came in to return an item I had…read morejust purchased the night before- a brand new piece of clothing with the tag still on it. The employees refused to take it back, saying it had "a hair on it" and even told me to wash it and bring it again. The response was completely unprofessional. The item was clearly new, and it's unreasonable to ask a customer to "wash" something just to return it- especially when it was bought less than 24 hours ago. This was completely unprofessional and unreasonable. The employees who are working there are very unprofessional. Plus, that cashier, the younger lady, was arguing with me. I think they are just one family clan and their relatives who are working over there. I hope management trains staff to treat customers fairly unless one of them is a store manager. Overall, I love shopping at TJ Maxx. That store just has the bad employees.
