Always busy in the mornings before school (Howick College is a short walk away) and on Saturdays when rugby is played on the sports field opposite. (Due to the appetite of teenage boys and rugby players for pies, I do not expect the Bellevue ever to go broke.) You can get a wide range of cold drinks, there's takeaway hot coffee, they've got a bread slicing machine so you can get the loaf of your choice in thin or thick slices, and if you want something simple and tasty like a mince and cheese pie, a white tank loaf or a lamington, they have got you covered. This bakery makes scrumy filled rolls one can choose from cabinet, otherwise if none of them tickle your fancy then you can have a sandwich made for you! They have all the fillings and meats and sauces to choose from and make it in front of you. Alongside the healthy options, there are some great naughty treats. My personal favourite is the 'Hershey's infused donut', which im only allowed once in a blue moon. It is decadent and delicious. That's how I felt after gnawing on this freshly baked bun. Seriously recommend you pop in sometime if you're a health, gluten-free, GM free, all round health nut. Helpfully, they have plenty of tasters set out in little brown paper bags, with olive oil to dunk in, which is exactly what every bakery should have I reckon. So take your time and locate the carbohydrate most likely to break your determination to watch what you eat.
