This bakery makes scrumy filled rolls one can choose from cabinet, otherwise if none of them tickle your fancy then you can have a sandwich made for you! They have all the fillings and meats and sauces to choose from and make it in front of you. Alongside the healthy options, there are some great naughty treats. My personal favourite is the 'Hershey's infused donut', which im only allowed once in a blue moon. It is decadent and delicious. Yum pies, and standard bakery food- muffins, scones, lamingtons, rolls and the like.

The site of the bakery, and the other shops adjacent to it, is more commonly known as Mobil Corner, even long after the Mobil was no longer there. It well-known among Bucklands Beachers and particularly among the high and intermediate school students (of which I was one, back in the day). It also has an excellent selection of sweet treats - all the usual tarts and slices and cookies. The caramel slice is another one of my regulars and Mobil Corner bakery does it well.

Well, they sell bread like any other bakery, except their bread is 100% additive/preservative free - they bake without any man inspired modifications. It's the real stuff! I was eating a hot cross bun from here the other day, and it tasted super delicious and quite different. You know that healthy feeling you get after eating home-made brown bread? That's how I felt after gnawing on this freshly baked bun. Seriously recommend you pop in sometime if you're a health, gluten-free, GM free, all round health nut. Even if you're not, you'll be pleasantly surprised how easy it is to switch over to Wild Wheat from supermarket brands.

Get in my belly!…read more My favourite is the whole meal sourdough, but honestly, I've never had a bad loaf from Blackwoods and they make a wide variety that goes way beyond the standards, including Italian-style pizza bases in various seasonings, all kinds of flatbreads, about a million varieties of bagels, a wicked ciabatta, as well as croissants and other pastries. Helpfully, they have plenty of tasters set out in little brown paper bags, with olive oil to dunk in, which is exactly what every bakery should have I reckon. So take your time and locate the carbohydrate most likely to break your determination to watch what you eat.
