And the cost was very reasonable after shopping around a bit. We also had ceiling fans installed and that was done smoothly as well. We absolutely love the look and feel of the room. We installed a 55" TV in the room and have been enjoying evenings watching shows. Mornings are great for a cup of coffee, and our cat is a big fan of watching the birds outside. Over all 10 stars for the experience and we would highly recommend this company to all our friends..

We were referred to Doug Harrie at Sunbelt Products, Inc. and our experience with him and his staff could not have been better. Doug and Stephanie were beyond professional and pleasant to work with. The product is exceptional, but the customer service surpassed our expectations. They were knowledgeable and efficient, yet always kept our best interests as the customer in mind during the decision-making process. During installation, they were quick, proficient and respectful of our needs, as well as being attentive to leaving the areas they worked in even cleaner than when they arrived. A month later, and we are THRILLED with our new windows... they were the first critical step in updating our new home. This project involved several unexpected issues and I am so happy with the result. I ultimately want to sell this property and knowing the work was done to building codes and my own high expectations was extremely important. Every aspect of this project was handled professionally and completed to my satisfaction and I would recommend this company for home renovation projects without reservation.

Re: Trinity Services, Roofing & Restoration in Knox. Almost…read moreFIVE months in on what should have been a week's worth of work to replace a wood kitchen ceiling and a porch rail. The leak from a severe storm happened in mid March. Here we are, now about to start August and the job is still incomplete. Whomever organizes the job and crew scheduling is in desperate need of being replaced, we believe that is Dale since he is the one dealt with. Demo began on March 25th. We had very nice pair of sub's show up to remove the ceiling and affected drywall. Once demo was done, "Mike" said that he was picking up the new wood that day and was bringing it to his shop where he could keep it safe from the rainy weather. There is where he would stain it and allow it to dry. He said he'd be back after the wkind. When that never happened and another full WEEK went by with no response or communication by Mike? His boss Dale was contacted. He claimed that Mike just "disappeared" and he was done dealing with subs. He added that he was personally going to pick up the stained wood from Mike's shop and deliver it to our home, himself. Well that never happened either! Again no word and no wood for another few weeks. Had WE not chased them down with numerous texts and phone calls? We still would be waiting. Dale finally responded and with an attitude, claimed they had to buy all the wood because it was never even purchased. He later claimed that Mike allegedly had a stroke and that is why NOBODY from Trinity had been out here for almost a month! They already had 50% of the entire job prepaid so you would think that they'd communicate this and send replacements out right away but nope! They did nothing. Just made excuses at every turn, including finally sending out a new "employee" named, Dennis, who said that they were really shorthanded and still had a lot of new jobs coming in, and were only hiring employees now, no more subs. I commented that Trinity needed to complete the jobs that they already HAD in their pipeline before taking any new work, especially when they were so shorthanded and in our case, had already collected half been paid up front. Dennis agreed and went on to repeatedly assure us that he was told by his boss that he would personally show up every day until the job was 100% done. He said that there would be no more working one or two days then pulling "no call & no shows" for days on end. I told him that this was great news. Well? That "I'll be here every single day!" lasted three days before we found out that he was now being sent to do other jobs and his brother was just hired on to take his place. When Dennis did return he complained about not having enough time each day due to my need to get chemo in Maryville. So I had my medical team rework their schedule and extend each appt for that week to be the last of the day so I could make life easier for Dennis. I also told him that he was welcome to come by at 7am instead of the usual 9:30 and that the added hours should give them full days during my week of chemo. So what did they do? Showed up at 7am, worked a few hours, took their half hour lunch breaks and left before 1:30 each day! So why did I bother to mess with my chemo treatments? It was a waste of time for me. I even allowed them to interrupt my wknds by letting them work on a few Saturdays. On the day when Dennis said he planned to begin painting the next morning? He showed up empty handed. He asked me to write down the color name of the paint because he forgot it and I did. It was over two hours before he finally returned and when the painted areas were dry? We saw that he used a gloss paint and not flat as the entire interior of the house is done in! How does a professional NOT know the difference between gloss and flat surfaces? When shown what a mess it looked like, this "professional" carpenter/painter said that he was never told that it needed to be flat. He was now trying to blame ME. I've seen entire cabins built faster than this company is able to handle and complete a job as simple as a kitchen ceiling and a porch rail. As for these issues? a drop in the bucket as they don't even cover them ALL. As a result? We would give this company negative 5-stars if this site allowed for it.

Having been a foreclosure, we weren't surprised when we spotted leaks during storms. After over a year of contacting and soliciting roofers to take on our job, (the majority of which never even returned calls or submitted an estimate), we happened on MO SHINGLES. They had outstanding reviews but their website indicated they didn't service our area. Still, with a hilarious name like that, I couldnt resist contacting Old "Mo!" The owner, Andy, responded to our online inquiry within hours, and drove the distance to view our roof the very next day. He impressed us tremendously with his experience and frank understanding of the unique issues required to make our new roof both beautiful and one that would outlast us! My husband is a construction engineer, so he is picky, skeptical and not easy to satisfy! We were pleased with the quote we received from Mo Shingles. It wasn't a bargain-basement el-cheapo quote, but was extremely reasonable and more than fair considering but all the added special touches and premium quality material we received. We realized, with the materials that were quoted, that Andy thoroughly understood our goals and we were completely delighted. The crew was professional, clean and super courteous and friendly. (Amazingly-- none of the crew smoked on our property! We really appreciated having a group of non-smokers!) The job was enormous and took 5-6 guys daily for 5 days to complete. They cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day and took extra care to ensure the wind never blew any debris around. They have an onsite dump truck to haul trash off as needed. They discovered a number of issues with our old roof and fixed everything professionally as they went along. The finished roof is absolutely a work of art- so gorgeous, and compliments the architecture perfectly. They incorporated special touches to unify the design from one section to another, and took special care to make the roof extremely strong against the harsh winds and storms we see. They also added new roof vents where none had previously existed. MO SHINGLES is, without question, the most competent, skilled and customer-service oriented contractor we have found in East Tennessee. The owner is very bright, with years of experience in a variety of climate regions of the US. He is highly respected by his crew who describe him as "the most honest guy they know." WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND MO SHINGLES. We feel we received excellent service, a spectacular roof, and competent repairs of hidden damage-- all at a reasonable fair price. We believe the new roof added so much beauty to our home that it probably increased the value of our property. This is the mark of a true professional-- when the value they add is greater than the cost. We couldnt be happier.

When an issue with the trash dumpster came up on the day of the work, they called me and offered solutions that worked out well, and didn't cost time on the job. Their communication was excellent, as I had a few text messages and calls with William Hunt, the estimator. This communication was very important as I, the owner, live in Europe, so working around the time difference was important. The work was done on schedule, and properly. I would gladly recommend Turner Exteriors to anyone needing a top-quality roof installed.

I was notified right away, they had to purchase subfloor and a change order was submitted. Work was completed within 2 days and my parents were very happy with the finished work. All billing was done electronically, and receipts were autogenerated. We have a few more mini projects in the house and will contact Lance again. 5 starts for Big Bear Construction! First of all, Lance stepped in when our original contractor had a medical emergency and could no longer complete the project. Lance was doing the footer work on our project and agreed to pick up where our contractor left off (with the same budget and timeline), and without much time to get to know each other and talk through our plans, I think we all crossed our fingers and hoped it would work out. It did. Beautifully. Lance navigated with ease and grace numerous city permits and inspections and so many supplier issues and architect flubs, including an incorrect measurement that ultimately required us to add a partial bathroom renovation to his contract. He personally checked on every aspect of our project, correcting work when it didn't meet his high standards and making sure his workers and subcontractors met deadlines and his expectations for workmanship. Every time I brought him an idea along the way, Lance was up for it and helped me figure out how we could make it work (much to my husband's chagrin at times!). When we called, Lance always answered, and he stayed in communication with us when we weren't on site, sending texts and pictures of progress daily throughout the almost 5 months of our project. After a few months, I trusted Lance to make decisions in my stead, and that says a lot, considering my Type A personality and specific design sense. He respects old houses and understood my aesthetic vision as well as my desire to preserve original elements of my 1940 cottage wherever possible. The end result speaks for itself. We consider Lance a friend now, but I think my hound dog Sadie misses her friend Lance and his crew most of all. Luckily for her, we have already called him about our next project.
