I came into town to oversee the work on my cabin. Every day, there was a new excuse why there were delays. As soon as I left, work allegedly resumed and he claimed to be "finished." My real estate agent confirmed that much of the planned work had not been completed. I confronted him. He offered to take a few hundred bucks off the already overpriced estimate, and then mocked me to sue him if I don't like it. This guy will present himself as a great guy. Don't believe it! I wouldn't trust this guy to carry my trash to the dumpster!

Joseph became unresponsive after he received his first payment as we wanted to pay him but he didn't answer the phone. On our way out of town, he called and demanded final payment after we had been trying for weeks. Luckily, we were not too far out to town but did turn around and pay him in full. He told my husband the color of the paint used on the decking and my husband has it in the text message where he specified PPG Pine Cone. After recently installing a new hot tub, we needed to paint the area where the original hot tub sat so my husband, who had the text message of the color, purchased a gallon of paint. We started painting today and the color is not even close,. My husband reached out to Joseph today and asked him what the color was to make sure he wasn't incorrect. Joseph was very rude, called my husband and SOB and not to contact him again. I would not recommend this company despite all of their fancy billboards around town.

Wow!!! Ron sets the bar for best experience ever with a contractor. We purchased a vacation home…read morein Sunriver and walked through it together with Ron, decribing our vision and leaning on his expertise. We love that he approaches his business as a partnership with the client, offering design, material and labor options. Ron always shares the pros/cons for an informed decision and is extremely communicative so we always knew how things were tracking. The vision was delivered, including some added scope, on the agreed timeline and price structure. So unreal! Here are some specifics on our project. We decided to replace all of the flooring, build a new kitchen island, create a focal fireplace facade and paint the entire interior. Ron knew we intended for this to be a short-term rental as well so every step along the way he made recommendations of materials that would accomplish the look we wanted to achieve and also provide the durability necessary for renters. We personally wanted to dedicate several weekends towards doing some of the improvements ourselves and Ron was amazing about embracing that and working through the schedule together. During those weekends I often found new projects that slightly expanded the scope, which Ron always accommodated. Since everything is a handshake with him, there was never a mess of change order agreements; he just adjusted his work plans and reflected the new work in the billing. Working with Ron from about 200 miles away felt like we were working with a next door neighbor. He has become our friend through this process and still holds a key to our home. In fact, we recently contacted him for a small outdoor project that he readily squeezed into his already busy schedule and we are so pleased to know that piece of our home is now up to code and build to withstand the Central Oregon elements. Bravo Ron!

Ron builds with detail and thought beyond your imagination. He worked on the job when we weren't there and treated our place like it was his own. I will definitely use him again. We feel so lucky to have found him.

Lance and his crew just finished a kitchen addition and remodel project for us, and I cannot say…read moreenough about his integrity, commitment to quality, communication, fair pricing, and flexibility. First of all, Lance stepped in when our original contractor had a medical emergency and could no longer complete the project. Lance was doing the footer work on our project and agreed to pick up where our contractor left off (with the same budget and timeline), and without much time to get to know each other and talk through our plans, I think we all crossed our fingers and hoped it would work out. It did. Beautifully. Lance navigated with ease and grace numerous city permits and inspections and so many supplier issues and architect flubs, including an incorrect measurement that ultimately required us to add a partial bathroom renovation to his contract. He personally checked on every aspect of our project, correcting work when it didn't meet his high standards and making sure his workers and subcontractors met deadlines and his expectations for workmanship. Every time I brought him an idea along the way, Lance was up for it and helped me figure out how we could make it work (much to my husband's chagrin at times!). When we called, Lance always answered, and he stayed in communication with us when we weren't on site, sending texts and pictures of progress daily throughout the almost 5 months of our project. After a few months, I trusted Lance to make decisions in my stead, and that says a lot, considering my Type A personality and specific design sense. He respects old houses and understood my aesthetic vision as well as my desire to preserve original elements of my 1940 cottage wherever possible. The end result speaks for itself. We consider Lance a friend now, but I think my hound dog Sadie misses her friend Lance and his crew most of all. Luckily for her, we have already called him about our next project.

I spoke with Lance and he scheduled a site visit to inspect my parents house in Knoxville. After site visit, I received a cost estimate for repairing water damage to main bathroom floor and replacing old toilet. We discussed further details and proceeded with ordering the flooring, toilet, and bedit seat. During demolition, his crew noticed subfloor was also damaged (see pics). I was notified right away, they had to purchase subfloor and a change order was submitted. Work was completed within 2 days and my parents were very happy with the finished work. All billing was done electronically, and receipts were autogenerated. We have a few more mini projects in the house and will contact Lance again. 5 starts for Big Bear Construction! I highly recommend for all your restoration needs.
