They sell Brocken tools. And will tell you if it doesn't work, they will refund you...that's where they get you.. they say they test all of the equipment.. When I went in to show him they weren't operational. He refused to refund me. And the employees who said that just walked to the back. Slimy slimy business. I'm talking about the buckeye pawn shop on Harrisburg Pike The lady that works there is very accommodating but the older gentleman that seems to make the decisions wants to charge new prices on used items for example I went in with cash tried to negotiate a price on a 9 mm he would only come down $25 and the difference between that one and a brand new one was $69 and he would not come down any really bad business he was asking $400 bottom dollar on it and I have previously bought firearms from them before and paid that price realizing at a later time that I done so explain that to him and he didn't care I could go to Vance's so Vance's or gun world will be getting my business I'll never go to buckeye pawn shop a good name goes far but when somebody gets a taste like this your bad name will go further and just the same day I walked out of buckeye pawn I went to gun world they was glad to help me I got something better than my wanted for half what buckeye palm wanted for a used gun read more

Wish I could give 0 stars. Avoid this place. Parking lot was empty and I wondered why. Against my better judgement, I entered the location and received the worst treatment I ever have. Took a 1950's Tudor (Rolex) Oyaterdate 34 watch in for appraisal that I bought from eBay. The owner also treated me as a thief and said I was trying to hustle him because I conversed with him as he looked at the watch (same as stated in someone else's review). As the owner looked at the watch, he removed the strap from the watch. I asked him to put the strap back on after he finished looking at the watch. He said I was being a jerk because i requested that he put the watch band on after he took it off. The owner clearly lacks intelligence and has a severe nervous tick. 2016 Update.... So since the review below... I have actually had my ring appraised at an actual jeweler and I found out that my ring is barely worth $300. The manager at buckeye pawn I thought was an idiot and a thief was the opposite. He wasn't lying it was the 2nd buckeye pawn jeweler who told me what I wanted to hear after finding out I purchased this ring at a different buckeye pawn earlier that day .... So the first guy at the south high buckeye pawn shop was not lying it was a "piece of crap zales ring" after all. It is only now that i realize the second man who found out i originally purchased this ring at a different buckeye pawn shop upped the appraisal to $7,000. When I told this to a non-biased jeweler they actually laughed at me when they found out I paid $1,200 and was appraised at $7,000. Then they apologized for their spontaneous laughter, they suggested I do more research next time and to NEVER trust a pawn shop. #RIPOFF Shame on you buckeye pawn. Original 2015 post.... I purchased a ring from Buckeye Pawn on Harrisburg Pike the same day I took my ring to Buckeye pawn shop on South High Street so their "jewelry expert" could appraise it. The manager looked at it for 3 seconds with his little eye piece and handed it back to me and said its a piece of crap from Zales barely worth $300 (I think he thought I wanted to pawn it). I threw a fit because I had purchased that "peice of crap zales ring" at the other Buckeye Pawn location on harrisburg pike the SAME DAY for $1,200, now try to imagine my frustration. I don't give Buckeye pawn shop a one rating I had to rate to make review. The Harrisburg Pike location sold me a broke/defective television $429.00 less tax. Took TV back to store approx. 2 weeks later for them to repair TV. Buyers remorse lead me to refuse to accept the TV back after it took them over a week to "FIX"" REPAIR the TV. Had to retain a law firm to get restitution for the money to be refunded. Buckeye made a fraudulant report to the law firm and stated that there was nothing wrong with the TV so they refunded $219.00 (not received yet) and ripped me off for the balance due of approx. $300.00. I intend to pursue further legal recourses to collect the remainder of the money Buckeye stole (technically) from me. Mobster unethical business practices but I have not finished in my attempt to recover my loss from this garbage transaction. Buyer BEWARE! read more

We went to bukeye pawn based in commercials we seen and I can tell u that they totally false advertise and we wouldn't of went there if we didn't see there commercials about buying the items we had and they were kinda rude and made us feel like mane a little embarresed but I had done research on every item to confirm athentisity and online value so they shouldn't advertise that they buy items that they don't buy read more

Head of the store (S. Bloomfield) was a decent guy that gave me a very fair price on a musical item for a loan. Good communication and good service. Would recommend if you've been to a pawn shop before. read more
