Absolutely rude as can be and total crooks. Tried to only offer me $200 for a 2 month old 65 inch LG C2 OLED TV. Rated the number one gaming tv of 2022. Do not sell here unless you are trying to be treated like a piece of trash and talked down to. I pointed out the had a non-OLED tv that was smaller than mine and selling for over $350 and said I felt like I was being ripped off and they told me to leave. The lady with glasses is really accommodating but when it comes to the gentleman who makes the decisions he does not like to negotiate I had previously bought a 9 mm paid new price didn't realize it because I didn't do my homework my fault I went back tried to buy another 9 mm from him check the price while I was there from the bottom dollar that he would take $400 I could buy the new one for$469 I explained that to him and told him I paid new price once before and like to get a better deal he wouldn't come down who in the right mind would pay almost new price for a used item really bad business I've always been told a good name goes far but this bad name I promise we'll go a lot further read more

Absolutely the most inconsiderate bunch of idiots in the industry. Went there on a Saturday just before they closed to try and sell my FPV Drone gear. They looked at it and said they needed to see them operate. So, I left work early to charge some batteries and drive all the way across Columbus, to their store. Got there and got everything ready to show them that they work before I even went in. I go inside and they tell me they want to see them...again. I bring them in, and guy behind the counter says, "I won't use these. You got to sell them to someone who will use them." Isn't that what a Pawn Shop is for? So OTHER people have a chance to use something? Not the guys who work there? They didn't even see them fly. Could have told me that Saturday instead of me wasting my time and gas to go back and forth across Columbus. And, because I was mad (obviously) and had a few choice phrases for them, they had some big, fat guy come stand outside and eyeball me to make sure I left. Nice try at intimidation. It didn't work. All that did was make me chuckle. Try having someone who actually LOOKS like he could do something to be your "strongarm". You're not Pawn Stars. You're a lame little bargain center at best. With all the useless, half broken, outdated and dirty stuff in that store, you would think they might have been interested in something of actual value that they could have made a nice piece of money off of, especially with what I was asking for it. Never in my life have I been treated so poorly. I went in to help my female cousin pawn some things to help get her by. At the start the man behind the counter insulted the condition of the items being pawned and showed them around to his co workers to see if any of them would even touch it. This of course prompted my cousin to ask why he was being so rude to which the man replied that he wasn't and that he was no longer interested in accepting our items. Me being there to help I was silent as my cousin stormed out. As I followed to leave the man remarked that he knows who wears the pants in my household all the while the manager on shift stated the man behind the counter was doing nothing wrong. They refused to give us names and stated that the owner is off on vacation for two weeks leaving me litteraly no recourse other than to walk away insulted and belittled. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUISNESS IF YOU WANT TO BE TREATED LIKE A HUMAN. read more

. I purchased a ring a few years ago from Buckeye Pawn on Harrisburg Pike and the same day I took my ring to Buckeye pawn shop on South High Street so their "jewelry expert" could appraise it. The manager looked at it for 3 seconds with his little eye piece and handed it back to me and said its a piece of crap from Zales barely worth $300 (I thought he thought I wanted to pawn it). I threw a fit because I had purchased that "peice of crap zales ring" at the other Buckeye Pawn location earlier that day for $1,200. Now try to imagine my frustration. I went to a different person at the jewelry counter and explained I just paid $1,200 for this ring at a different buckeye pawn shop and explained I felt like I was being ripped off, thinking he devalued my rings' worth because he thought I wanted to pawn it. So then he apologizes and asks to look at the ring and says no this ring is worth anywhere from $6,000 - $7,000 and he explained that the other gentlemen was mistaken. So for a few years now i thought i had a vintage ring worth $7,000. So a few weeks ago I actually had my ring appraised at an actual jeweler and I found out that my ring is really barely worth $300. The manager at buckeye pawn I thought was an idiot and a thief was the opposite. He wasn't lying it was the 2nd buckeye pawn jeweler who told me what I wanted to hear after finding out I purchased this ring at a different buckeye pawn earlier that day .... So the first guy at the south high buckeye pawn shop was not lying it really was a "piece of crap zales ring" after all. It is only now that i realize the second man who found out i originally purchased this ring at a different buckeye pawn shop upped the appraisal to $7,000. I told this to a non-biased jeweler they actually laughed at me when they found out I paid $1,200 and was appraised at $7,000. Then they apologized for their spontaneous laughter, they suggested I do more research next time and to NEVER trust a pawn shop. #RIPOFF Shame on you buckeye pawn. Don't pawn your items there, don't buy from there, and don't get your jewelry appraised there. There was absolutley nothing done to rectify the situation. The S. This place sucks spent 400.00 on rings the man said he would solder and size them.then when I came in to get it done nobody knows anything about the estimate.supposed to be 40.00 now it's a120.00 they lie so bad.time for the bbb to know.I would find a better pawn shop to go to where they don't lie.and where they stand by there estimates.because it sure aint at buckeye pawn that's for sure.smh.very poor business. read more

I wasn't excited about bringing my three year old son with me to the pawn shop but it turned out to be a great experience. The employees of Buckeye pawn were extremely nice to us and they were very knowledgable about their merchandise. The store was clean, well organized and had a great selection. I will definitely be back to buy from this location. read more
