This is no longer called Beaver Creek Inn but it is a Rodeway Inn. If you are looking for hotel in…read morethe area (I know there are limited options) pass this one up. We booked it based on reviews and when we showed up at 9 pm we were too tired to notice exactly how bad it was. Although the check in process was a hint. The man wouldn't make eye contact and barely spoke to me. It took him an extraordinary long time to check me in. Another couple happened to walk in behind me and they also noticed how awkward it was. He Didn't explain anything. So let me mention a few details about the room. The curtains including the curtain rod did not even extend to cover the window fully. There was used soap in the shower and there was only 1 towel for 2 people. According to my reservation confirmation and their website a continental breakfast is included but the only food in breakfast room was stale bread and cereal. After we checked in we never saw anyone that worked there again. Did run into a young couple who told me that they had to sleep outside in vehicle bc despite paying for a room online. They couldn't not raise anyone by shouting or using the phone at desk. My husband walked by the front desk several times in the morning and saw no body. He did see however that the laundry room was completely nonfunctional. Not that we needed it but others often wash clothes on an extended trip. There appeared to be several, like almost all the rooms on 2 nd floor unoccupied. In that case why not put us in a room that didn't face highway and hear all the highway noise? Bottom line- sleep elsewhere!

My hubby and I travel frequently for his work and this is truly the best place I've ever stayed. It's not luxurious with flat screens on the wall or anything, but it's so cozy and quiet here. Management is absolutely lovely and they will go out of your way to make sure all your needs are met and that you feel welcomed and at home. You will absolutely have all the privacy you need. An extra perk is that the WiFi is great!

that's very interesting information richard m. because if i'm not mistaken it's illegal to record…read moreanyone without either posting signs saying this area is under video surveillance or having their written consent. and you have neither. so this adds to the charges being filed against you and your dive motel. and the only reason we did stay there was not because it was nice or even slightly liveable. it was because we were stuck. i needed a place to stay because i had to work. if i had known what i know now about how you try and scam people that are there working and getting per diem out of money by calling their employers and filing the complaint with them rather than calling the person renting i would have never stayed there. the deputy i spoke with immediately after our conversation shook his head and immediately told me that i'm not the first person to have that problem with you and shelby and he said he was so tired of the problems from that motel he wished it was just gone. those were his exact words. that's a sad way to run a business. your revenue is so low that you try to scratch a little extra by calling hard working people's work and tell them they damaged a room and owe $250. but when i asked to see the damages you won't show me but claim to have photo's you won't show me either. first of all what gives you the right to call someone's work just because you happen to know where they work. did my job rent that room or did i? that officer also said you had no business calling my job. and it is also none of your business whether or not my brother is getting per diem either. your only legal concern is if you have a room to rent and that it is paid for. it's none of your business whether or not someone gets per diem. the only reason you wanted that info is so you can call his work when he leaves and do to him what you tried to do to me and the oil field workers that made the mistake of staying there. you are scum and your "life partner" shelby is no better. and the only reason my wife offered him food was because we aren't rude people. we were sitting on the porch trying to enjoy our supper and he made it a point every single night to be sitting there too. so my wife felt obligated to say shelby are you hungry? and naturally his exact words every time were. "well i wouldn't turn it down". of course he wouldn't turn it down. that's why he was sitting there in the first place every night. as a business employee he should have stayed in his room or the office anywhere but right in our faces every night so your guests could have enjoyed their meals with out a mooch shadily begging for food. and everything i've just said is 100% the honest to god truth. so anyone that says good about this place was either lucky to have an ok stay or they were paid to post their review. because i know what they did to us and i know what they're trying to do to my brother and i am certain that deputy didn't just make that stuff up. he was visibly disgusted with having to constantly deal with that motel. and be aware richard i've hit a screen shot of you claiming to have recorded me without my consent or be told i was being recorded and i'm going to press that legally to the fullest extent i can. count on that. have a pleasant afternoon richard. such a fitting name. what's the short version of richard....dick. that fits just perfect. see ya

Our room came with a book about the park and a Teddy bear that resembles Roosevelt. Checking out was quick & easy.. The hotel is in Medora North Dakota in the Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Theodore is the restaurant on premises. The hotel & our room have a rustic charm. In the lobby is an immense hearth reaching to the tin-tiled ceiling, with walls housing a large, private & accessible library of books on, and by, Theodore. We were able to walk around the shops & restaurants in Medora & we were in the park in minutes. We were told animals run wild here. There was a 12 car parking lot & we never got a spot so we parked around the corner on the street. Sarah and the volunteers from Thailand were helpful and friendly. I was surprised that there wasn't housekeeping services, I went down to the desk for clean towels, a laundry bag & took out our garbage. Went down again, for tissues & toilet paper. There was no breakfast served here. There were soda and candy vending machines. I was surprised that there was carpeting in our room and all over the hotel. I was a little grossed out coming inside with my muddy dirty shoes. At home, I would've left them at the door; here I just don't want to touch the carpeting. The fitness room is not a priority, the elliptical worked poorly.

The hotel was in the middle of town and convenient to shops and restaurants. We were with a tour group, so had group meals at the hotel.
