Tonight, 7 of is chose the Steak pie. The reason? Its so good! The gray is rich and unctous, the beef lean and tender. The puff pasty crust is just that good. This is a lovely hotel. It is very tidy and has recently been extended. The hotel offers disabled…read moreaccommodation, but does not have lifts to the 1st floor, so bear that in mind when booking. The reception is clean and tidy, the lady on reception over my stay was very friendly and helpful, she actually showed an interest in my reasons for my stay. There is a vending machine within the hotel if you get peckish or thirsty. Each room is well equiped with tea and coffee making facilities and TV's. There is ample parking outside and the hotel is next to the Solway Gate which is fantastic. This is an excellent priced hotel where kids stay free. The only downside is the hotel does not offer air-conditioning.
