Extremely unprofessional experience. The security staff at the door was constantly on their phone and not paying attention to customers coming in or out. For a brand like Rolex, first impressions matter, and this was a poor one. The lack of attentiveness made the environment feel unwelcoming and careless. Wanted to share the amazing experience I had recently at Bucherer in Boston. Back story I've been looking for a piece for about 2 years now and have had zero success with my local AD (the only one in the state where I live) and out of frustration decided to try another AD and I met Sanaz who is very knowledgeable and professional. She is an experienced sales associate and has a vast range of knowledge on different brands and models. I went in there and expressed my interest in 2 different models and within a reasonable time period. I got the call and she said she had a watch for me to look at and that next day I took home my first Rolex. The whole experience was fantastic and I was able to get in and out. They had waters and chocolates to enjoy which was an added bonus. Just remember people you're there to buy a watch and not drink free champagne so stay focused on why you're there the other ADs would attempt to distract me with whisky or champagne instead of looking at watches. I was able to get my explorer 1 sized and on my way I went. Sanaz explained everything to me and told me if I needed anything they were always there to help. On my most recent visit to Boston, I stopped in and was greeted by Frank, an extremely knowledgeable salesperson. He took the time to walk me through the store and introduce me to a wide range of brands. I was able to try on several models I hadn't experienced before, which was great. At no point did I feel rushed or pressured. Frank did an excellent job explaining the functions and features of each piece and was clear and realistic when setting expectations around the models I was most interested in. Another place where you will NOT get a Rolex. Almost a year later still no news at all. Typical for many ADs in larger cities where many people can afford luxury watches. I am quite convinced now they were not being honest and in reality don't want to sell a Rolex (to me??) or else they would maybe send update emails. They did say "around 4 months". Heard similar stories from others. If you really want a Rolex, try other US cities randomly, for example when traveling for business. I will think twice about buying anything at this place. Several small independent jewelry stores around town, no need for this! read more

Rude and stuffy staff make this place very uncomfortable to walk into. Girlfriend is wearing a Cartier watch and carrying a Jimmy Choo purse. I am wearing a Bulgari watch and they didn't give us the time of the day yet a couple from Asia was getting the royal treatment from three employees all huddled around them. Seems they are looking to sell them everything in the store! I guess that they only care about certain type of customers in this store and we obviously were a bother to them. Buyer beware and the products that they sell are available in many other jewelry stores, and I would highly recommend going there instead of this touristy hunt type business with I don't know they have a pretentious staff. Place is terrible The sales people are clueless. Went with the wife to get some Rolexes Treated us like we were not going to buy anything. Put an order for a couple of watches to look at and put a deposit down also . That night we went home and, I bought a gmt coke 1985 Rolex (fat lady /sophia Loren ,it was an online item so I guess they didn't make any money on the sale . The gmt Coke came on their website randomly at 11 pm so I pulled the trigger and bought because it was such a rare watch it was made for 3 years only especially that reference watch. It was literally the watch I have been looking for and has history with where I'm from. When I came back only the manager helped us to get the money back from the deposit for previous watches that I was going to by so that was helpful. Also I wanted to put the name on the imaginary list with some high school kid as the salesman He was like here put your name here in some random digital object from Star Wars ? like some freakin poor people then we left with our sacks in our backs . We bought my wife's watch at Long's jewelers few weeks later Nice oyster perpetual light pink dial beautiful. They got it for us it in 2 months! As anyone who has walked into a Rolex authorized dealer in the past 3-4 years will tell you - it's a massively soul sucking experience 90% of the time. Most AD's will treat you like a second class citizen for even daring to ask if you are allowed to purchase anything. They make you purchase things you don't want, drive up your spend history, and then dangle the carrot for months or years (usually with no intention of ever actually giving you that Daytona or Submariner). THIS is why I was so impressed and thankful to have met Cameron and the team at Tourneau Copley Place. In the 15+ ADs that I've visited over the past few years, Tourneau Copley Plaza has hands down been the friendliest, kindest, most patient, and the most HONEST of them all. When I initially called to inquire about purchasing 2 different harder to find Tudors, he was extremely patient with me and answered all of my questions. The next day I went in and had an even better conversation with him (and eventually made the Tudor purchase). Since then, I feel like I have made a great friend. Lots of great dialogue, conversation, and insights into all things watches. It never feels like a business, but rather a great discussion with people who also have a passion for watches. Also - they have a ton of other awesome brands besides Rolex. Tudor, Cartier, Panerai, JLC, Nomos, GP, IWC - all under one roof. If you get a chance, stop in and say hi. Not great service. They have no jeweler, so if you need anything done, they will have to send your watch to N.Y. Do not believe any " customer service" hype they try to sell to you. Better off to go directly to your watch brand for any service needs. read more

Just want to pass along our wonderful experience as my husband and I purchased Rolex watches. After my previous salesperson passed away in January, I've never stopped by @Tourneau Copley Place. Last month, we stopped by and asked a lady salesperson, Sanaz, if there's a chance to get any Rolex this year. She called me next day that I got offered "Polar Bear", and two weeks later my husband got offered "Batgirl". It's his dreamwatch!! Sanaz was helping us and she was outstanding salesperson. So obviously I was worried about some of the reviews posted. But like most places I like to experience it myself for a true experience. Got lucky today as there was not a crowd and I am in the market for a time piece for my collection. They do have a doorman and he was friendly and polite. They immediately asked me for help and got me a salesman. Unfortunately he told me his name but I forgot. He was professional and very friendly! Showed me the timepiece I'm in between with and tried it on. I didn't make a purchase and he was still kind enough to ask if I wanted a water. Was planning on trading in a Rolex datejust which is worth $11K, first off I was offered around $6600, which is a joke. Secondly I was planning on trading in the Rolex for a Cartier, and was told that Rolex could only be traded for Rolex. This information would be all well and good if they had picked up the phone when I tried to call 5 times, or return my messages, I wouldn't have had to waste my time. Went here to buy a pre-owned Rolex and to send my current 6yr old Rolex out to for maintenance. Staff is unknowable and not trained on Rolex watches. 1st issue: the pre-owned Rolex I purchased was missing the illumination hands. I brought the watch back and the sales rep tried to tell me that year model didn't have illumination hands, and tried to sell me another watch to replace the one I had purchased. After telling him 7times I don't want a new watch. I want mine corrected. He finally agreed with me that watch was incorrect and should have had the illumination hands. He Told me he would Order me a similar watch from another location, but the watch was never ordered and there was no follow up. This store rarely picks up their phones so it's very hard to get support. After finally speaking with the manager I was refunded. The manager was very nice, responsive, and easy to work with. Be careful, and know the details of the watch your buying from this store. 2nd issue: I was told by the same sales rep that my watch would be sent to Rolex in NYC for the maintenance. After 2.5 weeks I received an email stating that Torneaus facility received the watch and needed my authorization for repairs. They DO NOT SEND YOUR WATCH TO ROLEX! They send it to their own facility in Long Island City, and make you believe that it is being worked on by Rolex. Be careful! read more
