Ok, ok, so that sounds like a tagline to a really horrible infomercial. But, with all the sincerity I can muster, I mean what I just said: he changed my life for the better.
Dr. Bass specializes in cosmetic dentistry, and after a quick Google search when I was contemplating getting veneers in 2005, I found his Web site, read all about him and quickly made an appointment - right on his site!
Every person in his office is helpful and friendly. Tonya, the office manger, is the best around. You always feel welcome there. In fact, when I first stepped foot inside his office, there was a small flyer that read, "Welcome to the family, Alicia." (Or something like that). Plus, there's always snacks and little juices to tide you over - or grab on the way out. And if you need further proof of his success stories, you can pick up a photo album and look through the Before and After photos of real patients.
So, why did I pick Dr. Bass? I wanted to fix the gap in my front teeth that had caused so much insecurity in my life. I was always so reluctant to smile. Now, however, I smile as much as I can. In fact, I don't hesitate to break out in the cheesiest smiles, for my teeth look incredible!
"You have one of the prettiest smiles I've ever seen," a friend told me recently. "Thank you," I said, "I better have. I paid for it." That's when we started to talk about cosmetic denistry and I told her all about my experience with Dr. Bass, who is an Oklahoma State graduate (bonus points in my book!).
While the entire veneer process took over 2 years for me (my case was special, since I had to wear braces for 8 months and I moved during the process!), I am THRILLED at the results.
Did you know you can even pick out the shape and color of your veneers? Yup. Most of the staff at Dr. Bass' office has at least one or two veneers. Everyone there has a great smile. When it comes to picking out your new smile, the staff is patient, giving you plenty of time to make your decision. You can even change your mind during the "temporary" phase when you wear a temporary set of veneers while your permenant ones are getting carefully made.
Plus, they offer financing options. They work with you closely to draw up a plan and discuss your payment options. They're very matter-of-fact. They know it can get pricey, but they are willing to work with you so that you can get the smile you always wanted. To me, that said they care about their pateints and really want to help people gain the self-confidence they deserve.
Dr. Bass is a LVI (Las Vegas Institute) dentist - with accredited degrees and industry recognition. He's been featured on the Tyra Banks show for contributing to make-over successes. Yet, he's down-to-earth, friendly and he genuinely seems to care about his patients. He wants to do a 500% job well done - so much so, that when I wasn't completely happy with the finished product (there was still a sliver of a gab when he had finished), he offered to re-do the front two FREE OF CHARGE - just to make sure I was ecstatic with my smile. I took him up on his offer and have never regretted it.
Going to see Dr. Bass and having my teeth fixed was one of the best choices of my life. If you're looking for cosmetic dentistry - even getting old caps replaced with better ones - I can't recommend Dr. Bass and his staff highly enough. Plus, if you just need a routine cleaning, they offer that, too!
